Excellent!. I really enjoyed this twist-filled story! I'd actually love to see the BBC or PBS Masterpiece Mystery pick this up and have a screenplay made for a movie or part of a series of Sherlock Holmes events. I've always thought Mrs. Hudson is an underwritten character who should be brought forward more. This is a great example of how it should be done!

Mrs. Hudson and the Spirit’s Curse. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor James Watson don’t solve cases as easily and neatly as Watson would have us believe in this series of novels. Their maid, Flotsam, recounts her observations of the mental gymnastics of both Holmes and his housekeeper Mrs. Hudson when a mysterious man presents them with a dagger and a letter on their first night in their new lodgings on Baker Street. As Holmes and Watson search for ways to protect Mr. Moran from a curse, Flottie’s past returns to haunt her. I found this perspective rather entertaining. Flottie and Mrs. Hudson’s prove just as formidable as their famous employers.

Wonderful.. The detail in this book is great. I am not a Sherlock homes fan but I loved this. Well written.

Holmes' alter ego. A vigorous recounting of one of Sherlock's exploits, sort of. We all know Mrs. Hudson from the canon. What we didn't know was how much that is attributed to Sherlock was really Mrs. H's doing & thinking. A lot of sly telling that presumes you already know the standard tales. And part of that involves the spirits. Fun to read.

Mrs Hudson and the Spirits’ Curse. A good read. Very well written in the main, but the misuse of ‘me, myself, I ‘ grated on me through the thing. I would read more of these tales but they will have the same problem.
