Cara is a true heroine!. This story captivated me from the very start. Cara, Nate, precious and priceless artifacts... not to mention a steamy romance with a handsome Lord. Who at a mere glance, could send powerful men, to trembling.

Amazing. Gritty, quirky, steamy. I got this book on a whim, read through slowly but every time I stepped into Cara Devon’s world, I really never wanted to leave. It is an amazing combination of steampunk, Romance, and Murder Mystery. The literal backstory is neat, the world is unique yet familiar. I love anything that is Egypt related and I am absolutely continuing this series as it has been an amazing ride thus far!

Must have more!!!. I got this as a freebie from Bookbub and am so glad I finally got around to reading it. As someone with a fascination of Egyptology and the Victorian era, and a love of all things steampunk, this novel hit every button just right. The storyline was superb, the love scenes written with the perfect amount of emotion and detail, and the suspense was divine. After decades of reading murder mysteries, true crime, and suspense, I can usually guess who the culprit is before the end... This novel had me guessing the whole way through. Can't wait to purchase the next in the series!!!

Nefertiti’s heart. Good read with interesting plot and characters

Excellent read. Full of interesting plot twists coupled with romance and set in a unique vision of old England.

Best book I've read. Recently started to read a bunch of classic novels and for the most part have been disappointed. So I decided to give modern day books a chance and read this one. It's definitely my favorite book I've read ever. From the very first chapter the action begins. This book had it all. Love, murder, mystery, humor suspense and more. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Thrilling tale. This was a really great book. Even though I could easily tell from the clues who the bad guy was I still was intrigued by how the story would come together and I was not disappointed. I liked the bit of fantasy element that was attached to the artifacts. Really great story telling. My only issue was how she described certain things the objects became a bit confusing due to repetition of certain key words.

Great!. Great read and I couldn’t stop reading this book till the end. Has a steampunk feel with a tough heroine who gets things done her own way. Adventure, romance, mystery all rolled into one great plot. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Great adventure!. I loved Nefertiti’s Heart! Characters, setting, steam punk touches, mystery, this one is well crafted to satisfy the discerning reader, whether that reader likes sci-fi, mystery, or more exotic fair.

Questions, questions all about Nefertiti’s Heart. I started this book thinking it was just some light reading. Boy, was I wrong! This book is seemingly set in the Victorian Era, but it is reshaped in the author’s mind to be a meld of pre-modern and futuristic. It’s done in a subtle way. Then he mixes in a plot line that is full of intrigue. The main characters have a charisma that just pulls you in. I not only liked this, I wanted to be there and actually meet the characters. I’ll be looking for the other books in this series! Claudia Lopez

Excellent mixed genre book!. This book combines historical fiction, romance, murder mystery, and elements of steampunk into one great great story.

Nefertiti's Heart. Not only is it time for hot popcorn but the mystic beat surrounding the style which this writer incorporates into the romance and villainous characters keeps my heart pounding for the next words to jump off the page and into my cerebral vortex. What an exciting twist of ideas and ancient history combined to spellbound every reader into this authors fantasy world so that anyone can enjoy the many adventures awaiting to literally experience for themselves. Enjoyable. I really liked this book.

Good read. Interesting story, intriguing characters, enjoyed the read very much. I would have given 5* if there was more to the story and less passion however that's my personal opinion. A well written book.

Nefertiti’s Heart. Enjoyable, not badly written for a first novel. The premise is a good foundation for a series and I look forward to reading the remaining books. You could tone down on the erotica somewhat. It gets old the more it occurs into the story.
