Character development unlike no other!!!. Omg!!! I couldn’t put this one down this was such a good read.

Very interesting. I don’t like how you can only see three review about how great the book was.I base my reading sometime off of the reviews and this book doesn’t live up to the reviews off it being so great.I finished the book but somethings I could of went without like the sex scene after she was attacked was a little awkward for me and just the whole ship trying to hurt her was a little over board but it was interesting and I think I’ll read the next book

Yep. I'm hooked on this series!!!. I absolutely LOVED this book!!! Ok, ok, I almost stopped reading it at the beginning. I wasn't sure what to think about Rage and how he treated Joan, and wasn't exactly sure where the story was going. BUT. I am SO happy I stuck with it!!! This book is so full of EMOTION. I kid you not, I was in tears at one point. The feelings were conveyed so well, and I couldn't get enough of Rage and Joan. True to its genre, this book is graphic. Blood and gore await, but it fit in perfectly with the story. And holy smokes, can Cynthia write a love scene! Not only that, but the evolution of the dynamic between Rage and Joan and the corresponding changes in their sexy times were just so beautifully done. Yep. I'm hooked on this series!!!

Releasing Rage. I loved this book, it was something different for me. The cyborgs added a great twist in their relationship with the humans! I loved every page, and read the whole book in a few hours! Please read you will not be disappointed Tubby5048

The story is explosive!. The way Joan and Rage's relationship builds is unique and moving. Joan is well-educated, emotionally strong and intelligent. Still, she realizes Rage must be in control to accept her assistance. The way this relationship develops is fascinating to experience, and SO rewarding! Yes, there are dark passages, but love overcomes all. This book guarantees I will read each book in this series. Book budget? Pssht! I'll figure it out!

Female human engineer is assigned a killer cyborg warrior.. Joan is the first and only female cyborg engineer and as such is resented and scorned by her fellow shipmates, other engineers and superior officer. She is finally assigned a cyborg to look after and discovers that he has just murdered his previous handler. The commander of the space station regards all cyborgs as nothing but machines and the rest of his crew follow his lead. Corruption and cruelty to cyborgs is rife and the cyborgs are on the cusp of revolting.

Raw, engaging read. I love this book, gritty, raw, dangerous, growling cyborg and a feisty, determined, intelligent woman, craving his acceptance, earning his trust, his affection, his protection and ultimately his love. Can't recommend this strongly enough.

An absolute favourite. This book is an absolute favourite of mine nd the best book I have read in this genre. It manages to blend a real sense of true devotion and love in the midst of a very dark and destructive environment. The love between Rage and Joan is beautiful - a love that is earned and precious. The action is as captivating as the romance and the combination is brilliant. I highly recommend this story.
