Amazing!!!!!!. Normally when I read books I like them but then I just end up getting rid of them but with the selection series I read every book at least 3 times!

Do yourself a favor and stop at The One. The character development in Eadlyn’s story is subpar. She is petulant, overly dramatic, unrelatable, and difficult. Her relationships with others were shallow and surface level, especially with those in selection, even as she got to the Elite, and especially as she made her final selection. The story line was rushed in places, dragged out in others, and lacked significant detail. I kept hoping it would improve, but was severely let down. Especially as the story concluded so abruptly without a well-rounded resolution Honestly wish I could get a refund for both The Heir and The Crown.

Disappointed with the ending. Overall the book was really good. Except for the fact about who she chose I strongly oppose. I'm sorry to people who liked who she chose but Kile would have been wayyy better in all means.

Oof. Haven’t read it yet but I seriously hope it’s either kile or Erik because honestly Erik is just the sweetest and even though he’s not in the selection I think it could workkkk! I also hope that she still keeps all of her boys as friends after

Love this series. Read the first book in the selection series via Amazon prime unlimited and found that I loved the story! After finishing the first book, immediately searched for all of the books in the series, knowing that I would want to read them all!!! And I was absolutely right!! I could not stop reading!! Loved the story line of America and Amazon! And very much enjoyed learning about their children through The Heir and The Crown!! Now I just need a book that gives the readers more details about what happened in between The One and The Heir.

WONDERFUL!! BEAUTIFUL!. What an amazing conclusion to the series! Kiera couldn't have made it any better! It has just enough suspense to keep you constantly thinking, "Who will she chose?" And "What does her future hold?" Amazing Characters, and an amazing twist at the end! It completely satisfied my reading hunger! I recommend this book to everybody!

#teamKile. Every book I've ever read by Kiera Cass has been amazing! So excited for the conclusion! Update: The ending was pretty obvious. There was just something missing throughout the story. It felt rushed.

Something everyday. Maybe it was because I read reviews before hand reading this book and I kind of knew what to expect going in. And I agree with some and disagree with others. Yes it seemed rushed at the end and yes it would've been nice to get more detail on certain topics (Lady Brice, Erik, etc) but to me, i would gladly accept this as the last book in the series. I think people are upset because they want more. They're not ready to let this series as to I wasn't either. I love getting glimpse of America and Maxon's relationship. Even Aspen and Lucy's relationship. I wish Cass gave them kids before she ended the series but I guess that's where our imagination kicks in and we can continues the stories ourselves. This series is good for a light romance read. I don't regret it!

Best one by far. This is the best of all the books by far and couldn’t have been a better ending!

Good, okay, bad, terrible. Kiera shouldn't have wrote this many books...the ending to the One felt final. Eadlyn still hasn't improved her attitude in this book. Is it "queenly" unfashionably kicking out someone from your kingdom? Personally I thought it was rude.

Very confused and just disappointed.. The beginning was great. I was really excited for every chapter but as the story went ,it was going to a different direction that I didn't expect. I thought it was obvious that she was going to marry Kile, but she didn't. So I thought she was going to marry Henri instead of Kile, which she didn't. Then out of no where she was just like actually, I want to marry Erikko. I love him. Well how many guys do you love? It was very confusing when she said, "I love you" to almost everyone and I think the ending was wrote in a rush. Overall, it just didn't fulfill my expectation.

I don’t like it. I hated from page 1 She so annoying And a spoiled brattt

AMAZING!!!. I am in love with all of Kiera Cass's books! She is such a great author. I enjoyed all of the unexpected twists and turns that occurred in The Crown. I can't wait until I get to read more of her books! If your looking for a book to read and your into romance...I recommend this book for you! I love you Kiera Cass❤

It’s possible that I may have put WAY too much thought into this review.. (In my defense, this is more a review of The Hier & The Crown.) I’ll admit it, my heart was not in this book. I only read it out of principle to finish off the series. Book 4, The Heir, really turned me off. And while the first three made for a good trilogy, it should have ended there. The killer for the final two books was the daughter, Eadlyn. I knew from the beginning of The Heir that I did not like her, but it wasn’t until about half way through The Crown that I figured out why. *Tangent* Have you ever wondered why Loki, a villain, is one of the most beloved characters in the MCU? Well, aside from just being a cool character, it helps that he’s always working opposite Thor, who’s probably the most bland, two dimensional character in the MCU. Nothing against Chris Hemsworth, it’s just the nature of who Thor is. Loki has ambition, desire, goals he wants to accomplished whether they be good or bad. Moreover, he has inner conflict, between his desire for power and his love for the family that took him in. Thor just wants to drink and smash things with his hammer, and his only conflict is with whoever happens to be trying to kill him at the time. And therein lies the problem with Eadlyn. Her story is being read through the eyes of a reader who just got done falling in love with America and all her emotional baggage. With their relationship as mother and daughter, and the premise of them both being thrown into a Selection process they didn’t want, it’s hard not to compare the two. Eadlyn is Thor. She has no ambition, no motivation, and no desire to be a part of something, not even a relationship. Her indecisiveness in the midst of key moments is almost frustrating, the only times she makes decisions is when she’s put into situations where she’s forced to, she doesn’t actually WANT to make decisions. It often seems like the story and events are happening around her, and she's just along for the ride. Like the old saying goes, “you can’t help someone who won’t help themselves.” Well, I can’t root for a character to accomplish her goal when she has no goal. This is a complete 180 from America’s character in the first three books. While it’s true that America’s goals, ambitions, and desires kept changing throughout the story, they were still always there. You knew what they were, and you wanted her to succeed. On top of that, like Loki, she also had inner conflict, between Maxon and Aspen, and between wanting to leave the Selection and wanting to support her family. A story without conflict really only has its characters to rely on. And, unfortunately, The Heir and The Crown dropped the ball, and were ultimately an unnecessary continuation to a completed story. For anyone planning on reading The Selection series, I encourage you to stop at The One, and just appreciate it as a trilogy.

Great conclusion to this series!. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and this book to conclude the story did not disappoint!

3.5. Cute, but too predictable.

The Crown. Although the plot could be a little dry at some points, this book will impress fans of the bestselling series. You get to watch Eadlyn turn into a brilliant young woman that we knew she was destined to be. All the thrill and anxiety of The Selection rushes back, and you’ll definitely find yourself gushing over who Eadlyn picks. This book was everything I wanted and even more, so thank you Kiera Cass.

Had so much potential but terrible + unsatisfying ending. I loved the heir and I was excited for the crown, but the ship that was meant to be didn’t end up together which was really really stupid. If you’re interested in Eadlyn and Kile from the book before, stop halfway through and go to wattpad for a better ending!! I really wish i could erase this from my memory. It would’ve been 1 star but Kile Woodwork saved it a bit, I guess.

OMYGOSH...I wish that books as good as these had Photos at the end we could look at..... I've fallen in love with this series and cannot seem to put it down & even when I do I'm thinking about it so I may as well just finish them all. GLORIOUS!!!

I NEED TO READ THIS. So from what I can tell from the other books that are absolutely amazing this one is going to be just as good if not better cannot wait to read it!!

Why? Spoiler!. First of all, I was bummed that she stopped the story of America in the third book. It's not worth reading the last two. I also thought that maybe this would be a good series to read because in the Acknowledgments she thanks God, but then there is swearing in it and there is same sex attraction! Like what?? Why?? That totally just ruined the while book for me!!!

why?. this was my least favorite book in the entire series. I was really sad about that because I really liked the original three and the fourth one was my favorite (although not because of the plot.) I was super disappointed with the guy that Eadlyn ended up with, but I’m glad that her personality changed for the better in the end. plus, that backstory from maxon was just (mwaa) chef’s kiss

Sad it’s over!. This series will keep you on your toes! I describe it to my friends as a mashup of the bachelor, princess diaries and hunger games! Three of my favorites in one amazing, easy to read, and exciting series!

Yass. Omg love it

Holy crap!!!!. Oh. My. God!!! Kiera Cass has done it again!! She gave us the happy ending so many readers have been praying for! Thank you so so much! I can't tell you how completely elated I was to see Eadlyn get everything she dreamed of! Keep up the great work!

DEAD 💀. OH. MY. GOD. THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD BOOK. I CRIED 3 TIMES. SERIOUSLY. READ IT.

Incredible!. The Crown is an all around amazing book, and is the second in a series. I won't give everything away, but there is one thing about this book that concerns me, and it doesn't have to do with the plot. When I bought the other books in this series on iBook, they were grouped in a series called the Selection. This means that The Selection, The Elite, The One, and The Heir were all in the selection series. However, The Heir is a part of The Crown as a separate series from the other books afore mentioned. But when I bought The Crown, it wasn't part the of the selection series. As in, when I looked at all my books, the first 4 books were grouped together but the Crown was separate. Again, this isn't that big of a deal, but I just thought I would bring attention to it to see if anyone else has this problem. Yes, this is an incredible book, and I was so engrossed in it that I couldn't put it down. Literally. I stayed up for an entire night reading this. But there is just that one thing that bothers me. I'm not sure if it would be better for me to go to the staff of this app, if so please tell me. Thank you!

I wish the book never ended.... I finished the book in TWO days and WOW did I not expect the ending. Usually I can predict the outcome, but this one took me by surprise! When my friends recommended that I read the Selection Series I thought I would would probably abandon it pretty quickly... But by the second page... I was reeled into the world of 35 girls, 1 crown and the competition of a lifetime. If you are trying to decide if you want to spend your precious time reading this AMAZING book series... READ IT... You won't regret it!

Great, but not amazing. I really liked the Selection series, don't get me wrong, but I feel the last two books weren't the best. Everything, in my opinion, was better the the first book. The characters, the plot, and even the covers. Yes, this book was great, but not amazing like the first three.

My opinion. Book 2 was even better then book 1. It was Eadlyn actually trying to give the boys a chance and fall in love. I kinda wanted Kile to be chosen because I fell in love with him but I guess Erik is fine too he grabbed my attention and I fell for him. Great job in improving love the last book of the series cant wait for more to come. XOXO

Not good. I loved the previous book, The Heir. This book was not very good because it was so rushed. Also, I did not like the ending. The twist was not properly explained. Overall, I was kind of disappointed.

Very disappointed. Kierra Cass disappointed me with the last two books. I disliked the 4th book but I decided to give this 5th a chance and was extremely disappointed. Unlike the first three books, this story was not only draggy, predictable but also not original. The story is a repeat of what happened in the first three books. The main character is extremely unlikable. I extremely dislike this book and would not recommend it to anyone. If you were to read this series, you should only read the first 3 books.

Best series I have read in a really long time.. There are no words, only happy tears and I finish the best series I have read in years. Starting from the beginning with Eadlyn’s father, through to her own Selection, I was captivated with every twist and turn. Well done.

I bit of a let down.... I LOVED the other selection series books. I waited a whole year for this book to come out and I was really excited about it. I didn't even mind who Eadlyn ended up with(even though it wasn't who I wanted). I just didn't like what happened to the other characters. It was very disappointing. This is by far my least favorite of the series.

😭😭. There should be a warning.. IM SO MAD I RUINED IT FOR MYSELF WITH THE DESCRIPTION AND NIW THERE MARRIED?! Woww

💖 HAPPY EVER AFTER 💖. Hey!!! ☺️ Sometime I just want to hug Kiera Cass haha 😂 if you know what I mean... It was very surprising on how she make The Selections from Before and After life 😉 Sometime while I was reading The Crown of Eadlyn Story Lines to her emotional and Anxiety plus some happiness as well to it!!! You see Eadlyn reminded me of America Singer How there words in full sentence make well sense but sometime they can be dramatic in there teenager days but that how America was she wasn’t afraid to show her sassy side toward anyone who made a sassy move toward her to have some ridiculous fight in go strength to the hospital wings...Yup you heard that correctly!! lol 😂 but for an example Eadlyn Family-Friend Kyle they been friend sense they were little!!! I mean come on..if those two doesn’t want to be in love 😍 they don’t have to wanna know why??? Because the people out of the Loyal Palace life from the world 🌎 they have to worried about there case and what numbers they’re talking or making money...America was a Five as Queen Amberly was a Four from her start of The Selections when Prince Clarkson with so much Anxiety in his eyes or how he was raise by his Parents..Mostly Maxson is a lot different then his Father but he does have some Anxiety thought and some issue on how to control it from time being. But again All of The Selections Series was amazing and well Romantic Feels of Heartbreak Love 💕 And Family 💕 P.S. great jobs Cass you did amazing jobs at your ages keep it up and never ever give up on being an Author!!! 💖💖 *hugs Cass tightly* love you all thank you for your time on reading my reviews and my effort it is what it is ❤️❤️ Good Night 😴😘 and Good Day 🌞🌼 “Keep reading as always a readers and never ever give up on being one because all you have to is try and make magical happen”<3

BUY THIS BOOK!. Best book series I’ve read so far!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I loved this series and was so let down:. Let me start by singing the praises of the first 4 Selection novels. They were beautifully detailed, and so unbelievably thoughtful- an excellent example for the YA audience. However I was completely let down by this 5th and final installment. The storylines introduced were skimmed over and not investigated, the foreshadowing from the previous novel was ignored, and the ending was rushed, sloppy and left me cold. [SPOILERS] -This affection for Eikko came out of nowhere. As if the author couldn't decide how to end it so with 4 chapters left pulled a name out of a hat. -Lady Brice is her Aunt? Why would you NOT introduce that sooner and let it develop as a storyline to support the narrative? There was no emotional payoff in a novel that could've used some more energy. -Marid could've been a much deeper storyline as well. Why not see it through, make him a real threat, not a device to use as an excuse to end the novel faster. -The poetic "7 Minutes" the epilogue hammered home took about 3 minutes to read. Why not make that a chapter or two? An ending this rushed could've used some more closure. I hated writing this review -I never do it- but I was really disappointed the editor didn't step in and make Ms. Cass flesh this piece out a bit more. What a beautiful world she created- it deserved a proper send off. And now they're making films... I'm kind of hoping the stop with book 3.

Great story lines but could use some work. To be totally honest, this was not one of my favorite books. Although Kiera Cass is amazing at keeping the story going and keeping you entertained, I’ve found that sometimes I don’t quite understand the main character’s feelings or thoughts for the actions they took. The ending was a little weird because the whole time it was hard to understand the main characters emotions. I won’t give anything away for the sake of those who haven’t read it yet. But I personally think it’d be better if she added a bit more insight into the main characters thoughts and emotions. But, the storyline was really great! And think the ideas are definitely amazing. Overall, not my favorite book.

I didn’t like the romance. (Spoilers in this) The first three books in the Selection were AMAZING! The last two books the Heir and the Crown I didn’t enjoy as much. Eadlyn’s relationship with Erik didn’t really make sense. I personally thought she should ended up with with Kile. She and Kiel’s relationship had romance in it and they really knew each other while in Eadlyn and Erik’s relationship, they didn’t really have any chemistry. Also, she just went around kissing everyone which I though was really weird. Personally I thought the first three books were amazing. Kiera Cass could have done better for the last two books.

Great storyline but rushed (slight spoilers). I absolutely loved the first three books. The Heir was good aswell, and I was excited to see who Edalyn would choose in The Crown. The storyline was amazing, but felt rushed at times. I also admire her character development, but I feel as though it came out of no where. As for Edalyns choice for a husband, it was out of the blue. Yes, she says she has slight feelings for him in certain parts of the book, but all of the sudden she loves him? It felt forced. Even with some flaws, this series was great and I will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Just in case you’re wondering. Eikko said “just because you asked, funny woman.” When Eadlyn told him to say something in Finnish when they took that photo together at her ceremony.

DO NOT READ. Basically everything is ruined in this book. There was no effort given in the end. Eadlyn chooses someone with no connection to her. And the person she should of chosen was banished because she "loved him too much"?? This book leaves too many questions, and not the good kind! DO NOT READ THIS BOOK IF YOU WANT THE SERIES TO BE RUINED!!!

In love with it!. I loved “The Heir” and was absolutely delighted when I found out there was a second book. I read it so fast (for a thick book like “the Crown”) I’m gonna have to reread it to make sure I have all the info I need! Who’s your fav selected? Like for Eikko! Comment for others!

Speechless. This book was everything I'd hoped it would be! It was a beautiful ending to an amazing series! Kiera cass broke my heart and put it back together!

Great!. I loooove this series and this book is awesome! I was worried I wouldn't like The Heir and The Crown because it was a new main character. But it was just as great as the other three! I didn't read the last few chapters of this book because I wanted Eadlyn to end up with another person.☹️ But all in all this is a great book/series!

Disappointed. I loved all of the selection books and I was so excited to start reading it until I actually started to. I didn't really like Eadlyns character in the book, the romance only started at the end of the book, and I hated the end of it. I hope if you read it you will like it, it's defiantly not made for everyone though.

Absolutely Amazing.. I've been reading this series for years and I'm so sad and happy to finally have a conclusion, and an awesome one at that!!!!

LOVE!. Love, love, love it!! It's a must read!

Best Book Ever. This book was great! However, considering this is the last book in the series, I think things should have continued a little at the end. Or maybe a more detailed epilogue. It just didn't seem finished at the end.

Love it. No disappointment.. Love it. No disappointments despite the few surprises. More characters are developed while holding back some feelings in purpose; though I would have love to be more privy to them, but I appreciate the reason behind it. The tension keeps building up with very few breathers, and it wraps it all up nicely in a pretty bow and let it all out in the happy ever after of the last chapter.

I LUV DIS BOOK OMFG 😝😝. The last page of the hire makes me want to read the crown SOO bad it's the 2nd today just one more day and I can read it YAS I'm so happy. I hope Kiera makes another book next year but omg I can't wait😆😆

The crown. I can't wait for the crown I am so happy that Kiera cass has another book on the way I am so excited I wish time would speed up

I can't wait. I just finished reading the whole series for the third time and I sobbed like I always do I CANT BELIEVE ILL BE READING THIS TOMMOROW

😍😍😍. I wish you would make this available sooner because I am desperate to read it. I know that sounds stupid but this is one of the best series I've ever read so i really can't wait. It's stupid how you make us wit so long though.

Omgg. Omg the last page of the heir is such a cliff hanger! When America has a heart attack and edalyn says she has to finish the selection!! Omg I wonder who it will be

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!. I can't wait to see how the series will end. I needed this book like yesterday. 😄💜👌
