An Alphas tale. The main wolf in this tale isGideon. His mate is a submissive wolf. Apparently this is a no no for an alpha wolf. Gideon has worked it out for himself. She showing up prevents hm from having a mate chosen for him by the Counsel. His uncle tries to wrench control of the pack away from the alpha.

WOW- nothing Tattered about this book! By Cincy Kid 68!. Ms. Ryan can really weave a story. My first but NOT the last, luv the characters and the intensity of their relationships is beyond most all authors. Easily (5) Stars! JB

Tattered Loyalties. Even with shoddy editing the story line was fairly well presented. It is more like a loss leader in the grocery store meant to lure in foolish customers and entice another sale rather than entertain. Too bad the author is not creative enough to write stand alone stories.

A Mismatch For Me. Being new to this genre and author, lt was not easy to understand. Thankfully the shape shifting was pointedly expressed. The first bookwas ok. However this gnre is not m y cup of tea.

Tattered Loyalties. This is a great introduction to the series. Gideon is an alpha male with a huge chip on his shoulder. He has trouble letting anyone help him and doesn't know what to do when fate mates him with a submissive. Brie has know that Gideon is her mate for 15 years but when they come face to face she is not prepared for his lack of reaction. When they are forced to accept their mating neither of them think they are suited. However looks can be deceiving and they both discover that their is more to their partner than they realise. Change is coming and together they will face the future. I look forward to finding out what happens to all the Talon on Redwood packs.

Enjoyable read.. This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. It was a little long winded, maybe over explaining at times but I liked the characters and found the storyline entertaining.
