Not a reader but absolutely LOVED this book!!. What a roller coaster this read was. This will take you through moments of pure sadness and catapult you into moments of excitement of laughter. I think it’s was written beautifully and loved every bit of it.

Funny and inspiring. I loved every second of this book. It was so easy to read and I felt like I was listening to a friend tell me their life story.

Rabbit: an autobiography of Ms. Pat. Outstanding! Read this book in one sitting. Many incidents remind me of the saying "laugh to keep from crying!" A story of unbelievable truth, survival and perseverance.

Best book. Y’all when I watched her interview on the breakfast club it really grabbed my attention and the story’s she was sharing on her interview were out standing, and I could relate to here situation & once I found out she made a book I bought it that same night and started reading it, this is one of the best books I read hands down. And I loved it

Awesome read! So real and page turning.. The brutal honesty of Rabbit’s life story touched me deeply. I appreciate the realness of it all. Anyone who reads this book, should feel inspired to face any challenge in their path and meet it head on! Highly recommend this to everyone.

I laughed, gasped, hurt and cried!!. This book was amazing. It was so well written and easy to follow. This book helped me realize that my childhood was no where near as bad as it could’ve been and it has made me a life long fan. I’m ready for the movie and spinoff tv show!

Ms. Pat WOW!. I couldn't put the book down. Ms. Pat has been a favorite since her first appearance on the Bob and Tom Show. Her life experiences are amazing, heartbreakingly sad, totally honest, funny in only the way Ms. Pat can be. I'd like to hear Michael's story for a sequel. BUY THIS BOOK!!

Hood Living. This book was awesome! I too grew up in the hood and saw many things first hand what Ms Pat went through as a child. I didn’t personally go through the same but I watched it around me and by the time my third child was born, a son, I was even more determined than before to get out. Inspirational!. Ms. Pat is my absolute favorite comedienne. I’ve heard her stories time and time again but never in the way that they’re described in this book! This book makes you feel just about every emotion possible and gives you a better insight to the personality that is Ms. Pat. A great read! Inspiring. Loved this- wish I could meet this amazing woman!

Fantastic - I couldn't put it down!!. I finished this in just over 24 hours of reading every moment I could. A story with twists and turns that you don't see coming. Just when it seems like all is lost, an angel comes and helps her along the way. I love the message - You can do anything, if you work hard enough and dream!

Real Life. Anyone who’s ever thought that they were “less than”, needs to read this book. The best line toward the end is that she figured out that a lot of folks have a story. We all (including me and my 6 sibs) could’ve ended up like Sweetie or dead. Ms Pat knew there was something else for her. So happy she found it.

Unputdownable. I saw her interview on The Breakfast Club and HAD to hear more. Her book did not disappoint.

Perfect. I’ve been following ms. Pat’s podcast for a while now and I fell in love and I heard over and over about her book and I finally read it and it was amazing! I am from the Peachtree city area and to hear all of these familiar places and to read about all of her experiences. I was blown away. I 100% recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Couldn’t put it down!. To be able to laugh while reading about Rabbit’s journey through a life I know all too well was amazing. There are so many Rabbits today and this book is an inspiration to all of us. “All you have to do is dream”. Very well written!!

Inspiring!. I heard about this book while watching Ms. Pat on “The Breakfast Club”. I just started watching her show on BET+ & I was intrigued. I purchased this book on a Thursday & I finished it 2 days later. Definitely an inspiring story. How Ms. Pat made it out was nothing more than a miracle. There’s no excuses for any of us!
