Great Book. I have read a number of books about Scientology. This is the only one that made me understand how a person could believe in it. Scientology = NO. Leah Remini holds nothing back in this biography. Her upbringing in a Scientology family, to her time in the Sea Org, and her celebrity status in the Church of Scientology. She uncovers the corruption and sketchiness that is the church and all the people she saw hurt and destroyed along the way. Her experiences that would eventually lead her to leaving the church and beginning a quest to destroy it! If you think you know Scientology, read this book and it will prove that you don't know everything just yet!

Please Keep Doing Your Thing. I really loved reading a book from the perspective of a person who grew up somewhat similar to how I grew up. I lived in tents, shelters, I did without many things, and I always knew as a kid, the difference between myself and others. I got divorced several years ago and sold everything I owned to hire my daughter a lawyer so I could go to court with her dad and move to a state where she would get services for her special needs. We sat on end tables at dinner to eat. We visited food banks. I have hid from policeman to avoid fines. I have avoided answering my door so I would not be served with lawsuit papers. I have obtained loans based on complete and total lies of collateral that I did not have. Because I needed to get by. I remember crying myself to sleep at night wondering where I would be a year from then. Now I am going to become a registered nurse! I live where I always wanted. Your story is OUR story. I loved reading it, Honestly I’m not religious but given my life history it really makes sense why your mother chose the path she did as a single mom. I relate with her. Being on a new path with children, it’s overwhelming, daunting. You are doing a great thing. Keep speaking out. Everyone I know personally, they know your story and they tell it. So keep telling it!

Amazing story. What a strong, courageous, fabulous woman!. I am in awe of Ms. Remini. She is an inspiration. She puts herself out there, the good, the bad, the ugly, all unapologetically showing her true self as she knows it to be. This rarely happens in the celebrity world. I am forever a fan.

Troublemaker. Excellent book providing insights into the mysterious and cult world of Scientology! Leah shows how strong she must have been to endure this lifestyle as an adult let alone as a child growing up in it!

Really interesting. Troublemaker was a really interesting recounting of Leah’s experiences with Scientology. I really enjoyed listening to this book. I had both the ebook and audiobook, but I loved hearing the story through Leah’s own voice and ended up listening to the whole thing on audio. “There is no “right” way to be. I am flawed and imperfect, but am uniquely me.” -4.5 Stars!-

Loved it!. This book is wonderful. It literally had me laughing out loud. Leah is beautiful inside and out. I admire her passion, courage, and fearlessness.

Leah Remini Troublemaker. Outstanding! Leah is incredibly brave! She gives us an insight only a celebrity inside the Church of Scientology could share. She's not vindictive. Her story is to help others inside the Church get out and those outside the Church understand why it was so difficult to leave. No one in Scientology is clearing the planet, but Leah is saving people, lives, families and friends by sharing her story. Leah is a fighter. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn about the power to control minds or be brainwashed. Simply wonderful!

One of the best autobiographical works out there. This story is not written about the horrors of Scientology but about the writer's life which Scientology has consumed a tremendous portion of. She talks about the good, the bad and the ugly of herself and the good and bad of the religion/cult she belonged to and what caused her to get out and do so in a very public way. I have fallen in love!

Great read. Enjoyed the book and finished it within 24 hours. Good balance between explaining Scientology and her story.

Amazing Book. This book was freaken amazing. If the rating had more stars to choose I would. I'm an ex Christian and I could really relate to a lot of stuff that Leah said and felt. Departing a religion that you grow up with it's hard . Dr. Ray Hagins quoted Some People Just Can't Let Go! Coming into a consciousness that is not the one that we were raised with is truly a spiritual emotional, intellectual and cultural shock for us. For someone it is simply unbearable because they are emotionally attached to the concepts in their imagination, which is not really concepts in their imagination but a psychosis that was placed within their psyche, causing them to see what is NOT real. Beautifully heartbreaking and triumphant.. I didn’t want to put it down and I was begging for more at the end. I watched Leah’s show first and was truly appalled at the atrocities committed by this organization. I was moved to read her story. Although I knew a lot of Leah’s story from her show, I was still consistently engaged. Leah is a force to be reckoned with. By the end of the book I was all at once devastated by the stories told and wishing to have Leah as my best friend.

Enlightening. I learned more about Scientology than I ever wanted to. Now I know why. It’s sad people turn their lives over to a “religion “ such as this. So happy for Leah to get her life back.

Couldn’t put the book down!. This book explains the trying times and brutal honesty of Scientology - a religion that everyone knows *of*, but not many people know (or knew...) about. Leah explains the good, bad, ugly, and absolutely hideous parts of her life in Scientology; and does it in such a beautiful, educational and insightful way. I couldn’t put the book down for the life of me and it leaves me wanting to read more on the topic. Absolutely pheonominal!

Another ex Scientologist writes in. I was also a Scientologist from 1987 - 2002. I had a few early years of wins and gains and many years of doubt trying to get back the gains I had lost. I finally came to realize that Scientology really is nothing more than a money making scam that does absolutely nothing to help its parishioners nor mankind. At best Scientology is 100% fraud at worst I don’t want to put into print what I really feel. Leah has hit every point right on the head and continues to fight and expose Scientology for the sham it really is. My hat is off to her for having the courage to take on a powerful cult one on one. For anyone in, out or that has any exposure to this dangerous cult this book is a must read. My best to Leah, her family and all of her supporters. Roger Kaufmann

Didn't put this book down!!. What a moving and incredible story! I purchased this book having never seen much of Leah's comedy work but having been fascinated by her A&E series about Scientology. I read this all in one day and I highly recommend it as a way to learn about the religion and its (very) ugly side and as a way to get to know an incredibly brave and honest woman.

More Scientology. I loved hearing about Leah's career and home life but I wish I'd learned more about Scientology'a day to day activities and policies that Leah did respect or enjoy.

Amazing story. This was a very captivating story that had me turning the pages as fast as I could! My heart goes out to the struggles that Leah and so many have endured. But, this book was a voice for the voiceless and was not only educational but powerful beyond words.

A little more. The length of time the author was in this cult, I thought she would be able to provide a little more detail regarding their occulted practices.

10/10 would recommend. This book is amazing, I lived in it for two weeks and when I finished I wanted to read more. That kind of book for me is rare and Leah delivered this story in a thought provoking and entertaining way. Everyone should read it.
