Fantastic read.. This is a fantastic set of comics. I personally own all the first 16 issues and the complete first volume physically, and own the first few issues on my computer. This series brushes and covers aliens, murder, mystery and time travel. I would recommend this to someone looking to get absorbed in a story that is complex but keeps you interested. For children, I would recommend this to 12 year olds and up depending on maturity. As an avid comic book reader, I can guarantee you that MOST modern comics are NOT meant for younger children. Doing your research as a parent BEFORE you allow your small ones to read a recent comic book should be assumed. Skimming the pages, you can easily see it contains weapon imagery and murder. Rating a book 1 star because you didn’t check it for your child beforehand for mature language doesn’t help others in finding great reads; reviews are for rating content, story, imagery, and recommendations. Thank you.

Great Time Travel and Friendship Story. This is a great comics series with an interesting approach to time travel, fun pop culture references, original characters, and a good story with interesting turns that keep it interesting.

Ok but…. If you thought that this was for kids your wrong it says the b word and it’s pretty scary I recommend it for 15+

pretty dope. 3.5 out of 5 stars 1988, the day after Halloween—known also as Hell Day— and 12-year-old Erin sets out on her very early morning paper run in the sleepy little town of Stony Stream, Ohio. The morning promises the chill of autumn air and solidarity, when she encounters fellow paper girls KJ, Tiffany and Mac. But there are a trio of shadowy figures in black robes and a sack prowling the neighbourhood; are they trick or treaters who've stayed up far past their bedtimes or…. something else? Admittedly, I’ve wanted to read this series for a while—I’ve been a fan of Vaughn’s work since the very first issues of Saga and have read his instalments in the Runaways series. However, I’m picking the comic up officially thanks to the Amazon Prime adaption which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed so far. The comic itself did not disappoint—the art style was gorgeous, particularly the more spacey scenes. The characters are already a delight and clearly distinct from one another in both appearance and personality. While this was quite short, that’s more due to it being a single volume edition so I don’t hold it against the volume itself—although admittedly very little happened. I picked this up in ebook format to try it out, but I’ll definitely be purchasing physical copies of this and future editions. I really enjoyed it!
