Non-stop Action and Love. S.T. Bende gave us another outstanding story in the book, Perfekt Balance, Aere Saga Book 3. In this story we learn more about the high-healer of Asgard, Elsa and her long time crush the God of Justice – Forse. As their story unfolds we experience, dangerous adventure, nail-biting fights, heartbreaking torture, healings, and much more. I was on my seat the whole book. Elsa is full of light and love and is so kind hearted. In her story she grows so much and as a reader you feel yourself growing alongside of her. Forse is everything you would picture the God of Justice to be but has some surprising struggles he needs to work though. My heart was breaking at the guilt he was feeling on something he really wasn’t involved in. I enjoyed the growth of Elsa and Forse relationship and how much they had to go through to become stronger as individuals and together. I was touch with the feelings of family and how much it means to these characters and what their definition of a family is . Family and its love is such a strong bond not only in stories but in our lives. It’s something to treasure always. I highly recommend Perfekt Balance by S.T. Bende.

More Action. "I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review." I love this book, this series, and ABSOLUTELY love this author!!! This part of the series features Forse the God of Justice and Elsa a High Healer and God of War's sister. Elsa is such a sweetie, you can't help but love her. Her heart is so good, there's a reason she's a high healer. In fact, she's so great that I was quite frustrated with Forse for being so blind and stubborn by friend-zoning her. Forse, Tyr, and Brynn just do not let her down in this book, and not to mention all the background we learn! I can't wait for book number 4!!!!! One of the things I love is this book contained more action(fighting against the dark forces in the realms) then the others in the Aere Saga and makes you understand why things happened the way they did with Tyr and Elsa's parents and the way they are today!

Awesome Book!. Perfekt Balance, the third book in the awesome Ære series, centers on Elsa and Forse. Each book in the series focuses on one particular couple but the other members of the group are featured throughout. I love that we get to see the characters in each book and learn more about them. These Asgardians are all really awesome! Elsa is Asgard's High Healer and sister to the War God Tyr. She was recently asked to become the Unifier, a role their mother held before she had been killed, but Elsa doesn’t really want the job. As High Healer, Elsa focuses her emotions to help others and tries not to use violence in any way. She is sweet, caring, smart, funny and dedicated to her friends and family. She is also completely and totally in love with Forse. Forse is the God of Justice, a member of their group of Asgardians and a long-time friend of Try and Elsa. He is emotionally guarded, having been burned by an old girlfriend, which makes him fight his feelings for Elsa. He is strong, level-headed, sexy, stubborn and a God. Tyr recruits Elsa, his bodyguard/Valkyrie Brynn and Forse, to help him track down a killer in another realm. Things do not go as smoothly as they had planned and Elsa is captured. Elsa is faced with trying to escape, help her friends out of several tough situations and learn to use her Unifier abilities. This was a great story-line with a right amount of humor, suspense, action and romance. S.T. Bende has written another great book! I cannot wait to read the next one in the series.

Great novel. I just finished all three books and I love them! I love the stories and the characters. I fell in love with Forse and Elsa. There story was so perfect. Can't wait to read more and see how the relationships develop!

Perfekt Balance. I couldn't stop turning the page for this book- and the other books in the series. I couldn't believe... okay you're going to have to read this book to find out what happens but I am so so so happy for Elsa!! This book is perfekt in every way! ❤️

an action packed love story. Perfekt Balance is awesome. S.t. Bende is a fabulous author who makes us fall in love with all her characters. In this one the group consisting of Elsa, Forse, Tyr and Brynn go to the dark Realm of Svartalfheim the home of the Dark Elves to retrieve Forse's ex Runa who is wanted for high treason. Even though Runa is the enemy you cant help but feel sorry for her because of her past. we finally get to see one of our favorite couples get together in this one Elsa and Forse, and Elsa also shows that she wont be pushed around. There is action and romance and adventure in this one like the others, and a shocking revelation. That ending had me crying it was so sweet. I really cant wait for the next book.

Finally! Elsa & Forse Get Their Moment. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I had been waiting for this story since I was first introduced to Elsa and Forse and I have to admit that I was not disappointed in the least! This book grips you from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the very end and has you cheering the whole way through. If you have not read any of S.T. Bende’s books then I would suggest starting now, because they are amazing and I already can’t wait for the next release 

Left me speechless in the best way. ST. Bende finds utter perfektion with Perfekt Balance. The rich contemporary world blended with Norse Mythology found in her other books continues in this latest installment to the series. I love that I laughed, cried, and wanted to throw my book at times. I read this book in one sitting because I absolutely could not put it down. It was riveting. I can not wait until the next book by this author.

Another Perfekt story!. Elsa Fredriksen knows there’s a thin line between love and fear. As High Healer, she rights the wrongs committed by Asgard’s enemies. But even the gods’ secret weapon can’t undo every injury—especially when her fate is completely entwined with the god she’s trying to save. Elsa’s in love with the Norse God of Justice. But Forse’s heart is ruled by fear—fear the past will repeat itself; fear opening his heart will compromise his ability to do his job; fear he’ll hurt the one girl he desperately wants to protect. Again. When Elsa faces off against the very monster she once swore to protect, her survival depends on a power she isn’t sure she can control. And when Forse’s worst nightmare unfolds in front of him, Elsa has to decide whether it’s more important to hold the realms in perfekt balance . . . or hold onto the guy she can’t imagine existing without. Another Perfekt story! I loved reading more of Elsa and Forse; the whole team. Ragnarok is on it's way to the realms and they must all prepare for it. Evil is making plans to bring it about in their favor and removing Elsa and Tyr would tip the battle in their favor. Forse continues to hide his true feelings for Elsa, no matter how she tries to get him to open up. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Things are starting to get real for the Gods of Asguard!. Elsa is the high healer of Asguard. After the death of her mother she also inherited the title of unifier until her brother Tyers girlfriend can be trained. The problem....she doesn't know the first thing about being a unifier and there is no one around to teach her. Her friend and secret love interest Force- the God of justice is helping her figure things out, but when she's around him, she's thinking about anything but practicing unifying. If only she could break through the walls he has guarding his heart. I like how clean and fun these books are. Even though this book is much darker in nature then the previous two, it still maintains a bit of a humorous side two it. Especially when everyone is communicating with Elsa through Tyre. I love how the characters can go through these traumatic events and still maintain their youthful, playful attitudes. There is plenty of drama, action, comedy, and romance to suit all your reading needs so grab this book up! Make sure you get the first two as well. You don't have to read them first, but you will get to know the other couples if you do.

Amazing Emotional Ride. Each book ST writes just gets better and better. This book will hit you in the feels like never before. Elsa is so caring and willing to believe everyone has something good inside of them. That maybe they can be saved or redeem themselves. I strikes a cord - she is the kinda person we all wish to be. She goes through so much in this book to come out the other side almost better than before is crazy - but she does it. Forse is so protective and stoic that you want him to win. His connection and emotional ties to Elsa is so powerful it makes you root for them. This book is nothing shot of amazing. I cannot wait for book 4 - they just keep getting better.

So much feels!. I seriously do not understand how ST can just keep making ever new book better than the last in the Ære Saga! Elsa and Forse just won your hearts over in this book, and we finally are able to really get to meet the both of them. Elsa is such a beautiful soul, it's breathtaking! Forse, Tyr, and Brynn just do not let her down in this book, and not to mention all the background we learn! I can't wait for book number 4!!!!!

ST Bende delivers on the romance. ST Bende delivers on the romance as always and you get to hear the full story of two characters you’d only been briefly introduced to before – Elsa and Forse (God of Justice). As we’ve all come to love and expect their love story has its up and downs and wonderful surprises. She is a master at writing romance with a Norse god mythology twist. This book however is a lot darker than the others in the series with some rather graphic scenes I didn’t like. I’m a big fan of ST Bende’s books, I love her humor and the usual over the top fight scenes that are more based on action and witty banter than actual gory details. This one however got a little too realistic for me. If you’re very sensitive you might not enjoy this one, if you aren’t, then you’ll find the roller coaster romance we’ve all come to love from ST Bende. Just so you know, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Amazing!. This story was so so so so so good! I loved reading from Elsa's point of view. Especially with how she feels about Forse. Forse seems to be holding back from Elsa but she can never figure out why. They have been friends for as long as she can remember but she wants more. When Tyr states they are going after the woman that killed their parents. Elsa knows it's her duty to go but she doesn't know how hard it will be. So much happens in the story. It's a story about love, action, loss, and betrayal. This one is my favorite. The ending made me cry but in a good way!

Spend some quality time in the dark realms. Holy ko, this was so much fun! While the action wasn't as all encompassing this time, it was by no means missing. Many of the scenes that were most intense were inside Elsa's mind, or Tyr's, and of course there were many instances where I couldn't guess what Runa would do next but I wasn't even sure I wanted to find out, so horrid was her disturbed soul. Or so I thought... I would have loved to spend more time getting to know Elsa and Forse before this book, but what we do know we learn naturally, it isn't forced upon us in a contrived way, but rather brought about through memories and conversations they share. I really appreciated S.t. Bende's way of allowing us to find out more about the overall Aere story while still engaging us with each couple as we go along. It's got to be completely confusing to keep such a huge story arc straight while also writing individual journeys. I'm convinced Bende's some sort of word ninja, secretly putting together her books while no one is the wiser to her shenanigans. They're so emotionally satisfying, even when I'm left wishing I had more to read, I never regret the time already spent doing so. I'm absolutely ecstatic there will be two more to go, I could spend all year with this crew!

May the Forse be with you!!. May the Forse be with you!!!!! This is Forse the God of Justice and Elsa's story, as they travel thru the realms on a great adventure, with the God of war and a certain Valkaryie, Brynn in tow. Elsa cracked me up thru out the whole book, she is so in love with Forse and he just isn't having it. Elsa already a healer has become the new Unifier after the death of her mother is really stuggling to learn to do this and doesn't read her mothers journals which explain things until after she is kidnapped by Runa, who also happens to be Forse's exgirlfriend. I highly recommend!!!!!!! Can't wait for the next book!!!!!

S.T. Bende does it again!!!. In the third book in the Aere Saga we get to see Elsa and Force's story. There were many exciting moments and 1 where i gasped out loud. We get to see how Elsa is not only an amazing hearler she can fight too. I can't wait for the next book to come put. S.T. Bende never disappoints.

Strong women, Swoon worthy men. I want to thank ST Bende for creating her Realms. I cannot wait to read what is the next book in the series. What an adventure she has taken us on. The action and adventure makes this a book I could not put down. Elsa has a warriors heart but the compassion and goodness that literally shine out with every word you read. I love all of ST Bende's books and this one finally brought home to me one of the many reasons her characters are so real to me, the love and caring they show to one another makes us all wish, hope and dream that we too can surround ourselves with the same. The pureness of heart and spirit are clearly apparent. I wnt ot live in the world created by ST Bende, although there are bad and negative things and people the good and just rightness of it outweigh the bad. I love the twists found in the book, family found in the least expected place. Hope given where you you never believe it could be found. One final thing, the book boyfriends she has created are swoon worthy, the female's in her books are strong yet kind and pretty darn amazing. This book will remain one of my favorites and is already on my read again and again list.

So good!. I love the series! It's been a great, fun read, and I love reading about the Norse gods!

A book full of Justice and Heart!. I loved this book! Every single book I have read by S.t. Bende amazes me, they keep getting better and better. This book has it all - romance and action. Elsa and Forse are great and I love being able to see the other couples from the series as well! Elsa is such a lovable and nice character - it's so easy to be in her head! I can't wait for the next book!!!

Engaging, emotional, powerful.. The series just keeps getting better. I love that each book is through a different character perspective. I wanted to get to know Elsa after hearing a little of her story in the first books. I loved how her character is sweet and a little unsure of herself confidence at the beginning but things change for the better. I can certainly relate to that. The battles of body, mind, and spirit were engaging and emotional and I hated to put the book down. And who doesn't love a good plot twist and surprises :). OMG I was practically jumping up and down in my chair while I was reading saying to myself I know what the secret is and then I find out I really didn't. lol. Great read and I can't wait for more.

More awe-inspiring perfektion. I have decided that S.T. stands for Super Terrific and that the author is secretly the scribe for Norse goddess of love Freya, because she makes me fall in love with her strong and quirky characters, her visualization of various realms, her can't-put-the-book-down action, and her precise-and-eloquently-composed writing style. Most of all I love how she depicts love! In this book, I mean this in the sense that the romance between god of Justice, Forse, and High Healer, Elsa, is too cute. The dance between hesitation and moments of intense interest made me want to lock them both in a tower til they just accepted their Happily Ever After already! Because boy do they deserve it after the physical and mental turmoil they go through in the fast-paced adventure in this book with dark realms, poison, kidnapping, fighting, and facing those who'd betrayed them. I also mean love in the sense that the characters themselves have so much love and compassion for others, I am both humbled and inspired. Reading through Elsa's eyes gives an in depth view into how the use of energy and spirits to heal, support, and empower her friends and family. She even sees the good in her enemies. It is clear ST Bende did a lot of research to accurately depict Elsa's holistic and spiritual world, because I learned a lot and felt like I grew as a person; I highlighted several quotes as reminders and motivators to be a more positive, peaceful, content, and generous person. Forse is also a force to be reckoned with when he's protecting those he loves, but his is through action and swoon-worthy heroic defense that Perfektly Balances with Elsa. And let me just say that if that optimism, triumph and romance doesn't get you smiling like a goober, the quirk and humor of various characters in this Norse crew will. Another outstanding YA adventure through Norse mythology in the Aere saga. I cannot wait to see if the next one can trump this one.

Action, drama, humor, romance…. The list goes on and on!. *****The author provided a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.***** Five stars. After reading the first two Aere books, I was a little skeptical going into Perfekt Balance for a couple of reasons: 1) Perfekt Order and Perfekt Control were so fun to read that I worried Bende might not be able to improve on a good thing, and 2) Elsa and Forse seemed nice enough, but for the most part, they were just kind of … nondescript. Turns out my skepticism was completely unwarranted. Perfekt Balance featured the same non-stop action as the first two books and really allowed Elsa and Forse to shine. Plot: Tyr, Brynn and Forse are tasked with making a trade for Runa, who is not only Forse’s ex-girlfriend, but also played a role in the death of Tyr’s and Elsa’s parents. Elsa goes with them in hopes that her Unifier skills will help the situation to play out peacefully. Characters: Both Elsa and Forse did a 180 in Perfekt Balance. Elsa, who seemed meek and mild before, showed just how smart, strong and determined she could be. She refused to be a victim and did everything she could to keep her friends and Asgard safe. Forse was also a force to be reckoned with. In addition to being an amazing warrior, he was supportive, protective and passionate. Bende is definitely making it harder and harder to choose a favorite couple. Mia, Tyr, Brynn and Henrik were also back. It was fun to see how both of those relationships were progressing. It was also great to kind of get in Tyr’s head and see what made him so powerful in battle. The primary villain in the book is Runa, who – like Fenrir – is a great villain. On one hand, she poses such a huge threat, but on the other, she manages to gain the reader’s empathy because her past was so devastating. On a side note, that past leads to some incredible revelations! Writing: Perfekt Balance was very easy to read. The story is compelling, the action is non-stop, and the book is very well edited. Bende did such an incredible job of combining mythology and imagery that readers can actually visualize the world she created and feel like they are part of it. There is some cursing (a lot of it in Swedish), a ton of violence, and a smidge of sexual tension, so if the book were a movie, I’d probably rate it PG-13. Bottom Line: Perfekt Balance was amazing. It’s got something for everyone … action, drama, camaraderie, humor, romance…. The list goes on and on. And because of its surprise ending, It may even be a tiny bit sweeter than the previous books. This is a phenomenal series, and I can’t wait for the next book, Perfekt Match. Sadly, it’s not due out until 2017.

Great Addition To The Series!. What another amazing story added to the Aere Saga! I simply adored Forsa! I've been dying to know their story from the moment I first read about them. They're truly a perfekt balance for each other! This was fast paced (not too fast though), full of action and romance! The way ST Bende writes and describes things is amazing! I can picture it in my head as I read. The story captivated me from the first page until the very end! I loved seeing the camaraderie of the whole gang and how well they all work and enjoy their time together. I can't wait for book 4, Perfekt Match, is released!

The perfekt balance of everything you love in a story!. This book had a hold on me like no other! Elsa is an amazing heroine and I loved every minute I got to spend inside her head as well as when she shared Forse and Tyr's thoughts! Elsa is everything I hope to be one day. She's strong and forgiving and ST wrote this character in such a way I feel like she's my best friend! The twists and turns of this series are fabulous and I can't wait for more!
