Born to Magic. Storyline was fairly predictable at a high level, however the writing was done decently enough that the reader would enjoy the story. It reads more like a very young YA. The author’s emphasis on the villain by using italics when mentioning drove me batty-bat crazy. I understand the intent behind it, yet it is very contrived.

Beautiful, intelligent, original story.. In this very well written story are all the pieces required for an excellent series and incredible movie. This is not my typical genre to read but I quickly found myself invested in the characters, plot, scenery, well, all of it. I must recommend you read this, while I read the next one.

Wow!. So there I was at 8:30 last night with nothing much to do. I started to read this book figuring I'd give an hour of my time. The next thing I knew it was 2:30 in the morning! What a story! The guy who wrote this novel certainly has the knack for creating believable worlds and true-to-life characters. This author's writing is like crack for the mind- I'm hooked!

Born to magic. I recognised the reverse spelling of Jason, Cornwall & Camelot early on & was distracted by this for a few chapters. The story reminded me of Terry Brooks knight of the word series but it was obviously original.

The 900 page prologue.. This is not a book. This is a prologue for an unfinished series. Not happy, read over 900 pages to get a story line.
