Shattered Palms. This is the 6th Lei mystery that I have read, which kind of says it all. I love Hawaii and Toby Neal's writing makes me feel like I am there again. I have the next two Lei books and am ready to read on.

Fantabulous!. Absolutely incredible. Dudes popping up dead, animal sanctuary you wish you could see for the beauty of the birds! Someday I'll get to Hawaii! Someday!

All first seven Lei Texeira books so far. 👣😎. Congrats you had me at the first book and so far I’ve delay any other books purchases till I finish this series. As a father of a daughter that live in the Islands of Hawaii for the past 8years (Ewa Beach) and a proud timeshare owner for the past 18 Year’s (Maui) your characters (all of them) have remained Hawaiian thru and thru and combined with such realistic criminal plots within the Islands best interest, you ROCK! P.S. My wife of 48years and I have travel the world but always return to our favorite Island of Maui. See you in May. Mahalo

A True Page Turner. This is really an exceptional story. From the first page I had to keep reading. The story just flows along. Add the beautiful descriptions of the native birds and forest. The murders just top it all off. Very much worth the read!!

Lei’s getting tiresome. Like most books in a series the last ones aren’t as good as the first ones. I won’t be buying any more anytime soon. No one can continue to be a cop and get written up and/or charged with a crime as much as Lei.

Shattered Palms. I’ve read several of the lexihanl books and have enjoyed them immensely. I always look for them in my online book club. You do a masterful job pulling the reader in. Kudos to you. Janey Griffith

Be careful these books are addictive!. Be careful these books are addictive. Great continuation of this series. We’ve, my wife and I, had the good fortune to have visited Maui twice. Once 25 years ago for our wedding on the beach and revisited for our 15th anniversary. Such an incredibly beautiful, magical place. Our hearts where broken with the fires in Lahaina this year. Thank you Ms. Neal for your beautiful portraits of these islands and it’s people. As well as a very interesting and addictive stories.

Shattered Palms. I like the Hawaii setting but this book ended without closure on many points. Are the protected birds protected? Are there any uncorrupted wildlife officers? The Shroud???? The Aunt with cancer was thrown in and let to simmer.

Always excellent reading!. This series and this author have me captivated, reading one after another. So well written, authentic, and REAL!
