New to me author. I really enjoyed this book. I am new to this author’s work, but there will definitely be more of them in my future. It’s not a long book, but kept me reading well into the night. Also, one of my favorite things is that the closest thing to a big pages long sex scene was KISSING! Such a nice surprise! Good job, Chris!

A very nice read. I absolutely loved the characters and cannot wait to read about Brooks next. I did get a bit confused on all of the different characters initially, but was able to catch on to all of the poker playing ladies eventually.

Adam. First time reading this author but certainly not the last. Loved the writing, the characters, storyline, really just everything about this book. Thrilled to find an author who doesn’t need dirty words or graphic sex she thinks will keep a reader interested. Now on to the next brother’s story in the series.

Great series.. Family values, honor and forgotten chivalry.

The perfect length. This book is a great read and a great length. Most authors seem to think readers want more pages to read when the pages are only filler material and lend nothing to the story. I much prefer to have less pages and all the writing to be truly interesting. This is the 3rd book I have read by this author and I will continue to read her works even if she does live in Texas.

Adam. A absolutely delightful modern day romance. True to life characters, vivid descriptions, lovely well developed characters.

Running into love. Running away from a con artist turns into a beautiful love match. She also turns out to be a feisty heroine who turns the tables on her con artist ex fiancé.

Honest and heartwarming!. Love the simple passion the two had without the complete sexual response scene!

Reading Adam. Liked the respectful treatment of lady. Liked that the family liked each other. I liked that Meg was resourceful and resilient and not wimpy.

Heart Warming. I loved the authenticity and sincerity of the characters and setting in this story. Reading this book was engaging as I tried to fill in blanks of megs story. The setting also catches the reader and makes them wish for the simple life of a small like in this adventure. Five stars: it was a feel good engaging romance.

Not a good example of Christian fiction. It’s disappointing when I find a book under the topic of Christian Romance, and it’s full of four-letter words. I don’t say curse words and I don’t want to read them.

West Texas. Delightfully story. The last time I saw West Texas was in my rear view mirror, after 4 years. Brought back a lot of truly good memories—Thank you.

Adam. I really enjoyed this book. Not only did it have a sweet romantic plot but also a real plot to base the story on. I was thinking when I read the story that wow this person must know Texas pretty well. I am also a Texan I was pleasantly surprised to learn we only live about an hours apart. Way to go Chris!

More depth. Not bad but a bit more character depth would have been better. A bit drawn out in parts then when everything comes to a head, it’s like the book was rushed to its conclusion.

I much preferred Hannah.. Too much innuendo in bad form about sex. The story had no plot but Adam and Meg having the hots for each other. Some of the offensive sex talk and word pictures should have been left out. Not intelligent just trashy.

Loved this book. Really, really enjoyed this book. Loved the way all the characters made this book heartwarming, funny and enchanting. It made me laugh and I didn't want to put it down. Intriguing, romantic and funny. A good author always creates a picture where you feel like you are there and they do this by including just enough of the peripheral characters to create a great story that keeps you hooked. This author did this brilliantly. Looking forward to reading more of her books.

Nicely written!. Very nicely written, clean romance. Language was good too. (I am a but of a grammar freak- these days, it is great to just see a book without glaring errors)! I would have liked Adam and Meg to have had at least a couple more dates before all hell broke loose, lol! Also, Thanks for explaining why you needed the reviews- never really thought much about it in the past.

Adam Farraday Country Book one. An excellent book ! Kept me wondering till the end when it all came together. Hard to put down as the book is well written. First time reading this author. Now for sure I’ll look for other books.
