Great love story. This book was great. I love the way the story played out and wanted it to go on. I also read the love scenes, which I usually skip. I enjoyed how they played a part of the story and were not just “sex”. Great job!

Growing Spiritually, Physically & Emotionally. I fell head over heals for Genevieve and Trent. Their instant connection and attraction drew me in form the very start. Coming from two very different worlds, you wonder how will they make it? Genevieve has the responsibility of raising her two younger siblings after the unexpected death of her parents. On top of that, she has bills adding up as she works pay check to pay check to provide food, shelter and normalcy to her siblings. She has put off her dreams of being a hair dresser and one day owning her own salon so that she can make her brother and sister's dreams come true. Her life had a routine and structure, until one of the hottest men landed in her yoga class. Trent was at his lowest point, taking his injury the worst way possible. He gave up on himself and everything around him. Drinking and sleeping with random women became his life. That is until his agent gave him a little reality check, pushing Trent to stop wallowing in his own pity. He either got his butt in gear or he can kiss his new contract good-bye. Deciding to take the advice of his agent, Trent enrolls in yoga; the best decision of his life. The place where he meets Genevieve, his hot, sexy and sweet as sin yoga instructor who he has set in his mind to bed. What neither Genevieve nor Trent expect is a whole lot more than flirting and bedding each other. Genevieve and Trent's relationship was so sweet and honest. I loved how Genevieve brought out the protective, caring and tender side of Trent, and Trent brought out Genevieve's playful, wild and risqué side. Both coming to together perfectly, complementing the other, like yin and yang. Audrey Carlan created a breathtaking story of two people who evolve separately and together. I also LOVED how Audrey explained the different yoga posses in the beginning of each chapter and their importance. Great job Audrey once again and THANK YOU for sharing Genevieve and Trent with us all!

Okay. No real sequel. The last 30 paged were rushed and not planned out well. The girl forgave the guy way too fast and carelessly. The guy actually did cheat on the girl. The epilogue was useless still left a lot of questions unanswered

Resisting Roots. If there is something that Audrey knows it's Yoga and how to write a hot book. Putting them together is a concept I have to admit I was hesitant about but in true AC fashion she proved me wrong. Resisting Roots is just the beginning of many stories involving the Lotus House and I have to say after reading Resisting Roots I am excited about the rest of the series. This book introduces us to Genevieve and Trent. Both have some pretty serious life obstacles they are trying to overcome and the last thing on either of their minds is finding love. Trent wants to get better in order to secure a pretty lucrative contract after a side lining injury. Viv is just trying to make her way in a life she never dreamed of having but wouldn't trade for the world. When they meet the chemistry between them can be felt through the pages (or screen). Can Viv help Trent and still keep her life on track? Can Trent really get better with Viv's help all the while trying to keep emotions in check? Don't miss out on this one folks. The hotness is off the charts. The characters are easily loved. You won't be disappointed

Trent & Vivvie!!. Audrey Carlan is the bomb.com! Trent is sexy, sweet, fun & Vivvi is wonderful, a caregiver, hardworking. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in 2 days. Now on to the next

Good read.. Loved this book and loved Genevieve and Trent. I felt that the book was too short, I wish there was more to it. I would've loved to read more about them. But overall a nice read.

Spiritual, loving and enticing. I fell in love with Audrey with her Calendar girl series. Now this book takes you on a different journey, her writing however still draws you in.
