Up to the minute. Terrorists abound, much like what's in the news each day. Hopefully this book didn't give the terrorists bright ideas to bring down the United States.

Oath of office. What an amazing book. I could not put it down. Jack Mars knows how to weave a story and keep it interesting. Worth reading.

Good book, but not great. This book had a lot of action, but something was missing. The characters were not developed enough at the beginning of the story, so when the action started, I wasn’t concerned about their safety or the situation. It could have been a “Wow” story, but came off just ok.

Another Page-Turner. If possible, Oath of Office is even faster paced than By Any Means Necessary. Luke Stone is once again caught up in a plot. This time terrorists are attempting to wipe out the United States with a bio-weapon. Perhaps it's simply familiarity; however this book feels much smoother and better put together then its predecessor. If you liked By Any Means Necessary, you'll love Oath of Office!

Going nowhere.... First book was somewhat okay, but failed in character development and depth of scenario. Story line was and is simplistic in books 1&2. Have read better stories from better creators. Will pass on the rest of this series and this author.

Big Fan. You rank right up there with Flynn, Clancy and all the other heavy weights with your Luke Stone character! I am very glad I came across your books and look forward to reading the continuing saga!

Super exciting. The end came pretty fast but the whole book was super exiting and full of surprises

Good series. I really enjoyed books 1 & 2. About to start #3. Book 1 ended where you needed #2 to complete the story. Sometimes I don’t like that, but both books were long, worth the buy, and very interesting. They were a story I certainly hope never happens, but it wasn’t far fetched. In other words, I didn’t spend the whole time thinking “No way. This is ridiculous ”. Well, a couple of times I did think: there is no way the government could get that done that quick. But it didn’t hold me up. I enjoyed these books very much. I have a feeling I will be completing the whole series.

Oath of office. Another riveting book which is really a continuation of the book 1 story. Outstanding if you love action and thrilling, possible scenarios. This one presents classic moral dilemmas of how far should one go to protect others; sacrifice marriage for duty; how exact is the “rule of law” in a crisis...

Enjoyable thriller. A fast paced story with a believable plot keeps the reader interested from start to finish. The al its indestructible Luke Stone chase terrorists across the globe and is ably supported by a suitable cast of characters. A good read, technically accurate without an overdose of detail. Recommended!

Non stop action. This is the first book in this series that I have read, and I am excited to look to the next one. I enjoy fast moving stories and this fills the bill. The scenario is a bit of a stretch, but in our current world environment, maybe not.

Oath of Office. Luke Stone is a super hero’s hero. Jack Mars’ attention to detail, believable dialogue and ingenious plot twists will keep you guessing how Stone will get out of ever-more dangerously diabolical situations. Entertaining, well-written and not to be missed!

Oath Of Office. To any one who likes action and suspense, this book is a must . Can't wait to get hold of the others in this series.

Any Means Necessary and Oath of Office. Have really enjoyed both books. Hard charging. Compelling. Well written. Would encourage a little more editorial/grammatical review. For instance, "“It was interesting how you could know a person just by the feeling they brought with them into a room.” It should read: It was interesting how you could know a person just by the feeling he brought with him into a room. (or “she/her” if the person were a female)

Oath Of Office. Jack Mars is a masterful story teller as he takes the reader on a thriller roller coaster ride. Well developed characters with scenarios that are very realistic. Great author and i'm a new fan! For fans of James Rollins, Clive Cussler, Lee Child, and Tom Clancey, Jack Mars can hold his own against them. Check it out!

Oath of Office (A Luke Stone Thriller book #2). Jack Mars blasts through with another action packed book that kept me turning pages all night long and hot popcorn at my side. Anxiously awaiting to read the next book in this series asap. If you love suspense you will love this series. KSW
