LOVE LOVE LOVE. Something about a bad boy really gets me!! This is my favorite of the series so far. Written so well with SUCH an amazing plot line. I couldn’t put it down.

I CANNOT EVEN! MUST READ!. WHY?! Why can't I give this MORE than 5 stars!!!??? WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????? It's no secret that Meghan is my hands down FAVORITE author in the romance world. She can do no wrong. She's an amazing writer. I CANNOT EVEN with this book, CANNOT. She wanted her readers to go in blind, which, let's be honest, I totally DON'T but like I said, Meghan is perfection. Hopefully you've read the others in this series, but let me tell you that going in blind is THE absolute best way to read this one. NOLA has been on my bucket list ever since I picked up Beneath This Mask and after reading this, it's been bumped very high. This book. Seriously. I giggled, I gasped and I FELT. I didn't want this to end. I love every single thing about this book. I'm still on cloud 9, riding out the BEST book hangover EVER! In fact, I'm reading it AGAIN! At certain points I stopped reading because of that, not wanting it to end. It was such a mix of emotions, while I couldn't stop turning the pages, I had to stop and breathe! And here I thought Meghan outdid herself with Beneath These Scars. She hit this one way out of the ballpark. While BTM has a very special place in my heart, this one is seriously the greatest thing ever.

Holy cow batman. I have loved all the books of the beneath series but this one was the icing on the cake. Cream da la cream. My favorite March book to date and I have almost all of them! I think 5 I haven’t . I didn’t go to sleep pulled a all nighter just to keep reading this gem. Must buy! ❤️🔥🌟🥵

Rix!!!. I am coming back to update this review. I still love Rix and he is still one of my favorite hero’s. I loved seeing him pop up in some of Meghan’s other novels. The twists and turns in this book are to die for. It will hook you from page one. We saw Rix in Beneath these Chains nut this version of him is so much deeper and we really learn who he really is. I highly recommend reading!

5++ What A Rollercoaster Ride Stars. So this book is probably, hands down, one of the best books I've read in a while. Everything Meghan writes had been nothing short of amazing but this one blew me away. I found myself anxious to turn the page because I couldn't ever figure out what was coming next. When I thought I had it figured out, I was always proven wrong. It had me so on edge and I couldn't take my mind off it, so I woke up TWO HOURS before my alarm went off to get up for work this morning just so I could find out how this story ended. And let's face it, I REALLY cherish my sleep so that speaks volume on how amazing this book is! I heart Meghan and her words so hard!!! ❤

AMAZING. My first adventure with Mz. March and it will definitely not be my last. What do you do when what you want is bad but feels sooo very right. You crave it, it becomes your drug. This book will do that to you. Block some time because you will not stop once you start. I was just blown away by the character dynamics and the fabulous story. Holy smokes. !. Okay this has got to be the best book in this series by far... Rix is hot and the ending is SUCH A PLOT TWIST and holy smokes I just couldn’t put it down 😭

Deserved all 5 stars!. I rarely give a book 5 stars. But this book earned all 5 & then some. I've read the entire series, but this one takes the cake! And literally I can't say what I want to because it'll ruin the experience for other reader. for a while I didn't even know which character the book was mainly about. Which added to the experience! The author keeps you on your toes until the very end! Even when I thought I had it figured out, she threw ANOTHER curveball at me! And near the end you're rethinking conversations that had taken place earlier in the book & it all falls into place. I loved it and I loved the characters. These are the books that show the true genius of an author. Well done Meghan March!

The stereotypes…. I can’t give this story a good rating because of the stereotypes and exploitation of people of color. Most of us are not living in poverty, fighting in gang wars, raised by inattentive grandparents, objectified as sexual fetches, nor “bad guys” secretly desiring acceptance in white society. In all of the previous stories in this series the main characters were the same race, had unprotected sex, and didn’t get pregnant. But in this one…. The entire story line was disappointing. Hopefully other books by this author doesn’t continue to portray us as we are depicted in this series.

Amazing`. Wow! This book was nothing short of amazing! I became completely absorbed with the characters and their development. The story itself moved at a great pace and had a different twist than I expected. Perfect combination of alpha male (without being over the top), angst and some great chemistry/steam. Secrets, lies, sex, and surprises!. Who loves a hot, sexy, commanding, powerful, romantic alpha male or three? Who wants to be an independent, intelligent, strong, beautiful, multiply orgasmic heroine? Who loves finding adventure, excitement, suspense, danger, twists, romance, and surprises in their books? My answer to all of these is, ME!!!!! I'm hoping you feel the same. There's so much I want to say about this book. So freaking much! But I can't. I promised I wouldn't. It's too delicious to go in cold and discover all the surprises for yourself! Trust me on this; not knowing what to expect is just going to make this book better for you. I swear. There are a few things I will tell you though. You get it all with Meghan March's 5th outing in the Beneath Series. Hot, gorgeous, tattooed men, beautiful, sexy women, steamy hot love scenes, and underneath it all, a yearning for the kind of love that sets your soul and your body on fire. It's all here. And you're gonna love every word of it. I'm not giving you any hints here, folks. No character names, no plot lines, nothing. Why? Because I received an advance copy of this novel for an honest review and I was so impressed, and so happy with the whole story, I want you to be as surprised as I was when you finally read the last words. I will tell you this, though. Beneath These Lies is proof that Meghan March gets a little better every time she sits down to write. Considering how good she was to begin with, that's high praise. The writing is outstanding and the characterizations are great. You will buy into this, hook, line, and sinker. I promise. And no, no one goes fishing, so that's not a hint. Here's a hint: If you like good writing, good romance, lots of the unexpected, plenty of action, and alphas, alphas, alphas.... get this book. Don't go skimming, or skipping around in it. Don't go reading the last few pages, and definitely don't spoil anyone else when you give this piece of reading heaven the five-star review it so richly deserves!

Possibly my favorite. I love this book. Valentina has been through her struggles yet maintained a sense of fighting spirit. I even loved Hennessy’s minor story involved. (Even though he wasn’t the male MC.)

Wow. Intense read. I loved Beneath These Lies. Rix and Valentina’s story kept me on the edge of my seat. I truly couldn’t put it down. It had many twists and turns that made it riveting. I highly recommend this entire series.

So so good!!. Definitely one of my favorite ones of hers I loved it!

Another Great Installment in Series. This series has some of the best twists, and this book was no exception. I loved the last 20% where everything started coming together. The sexual tension was off the charts!!! I have to say that the middle felt slow, but the ending made up for it. If you love alpha men who are possessive and talk dirty, then this is a book for you.

Riveting. You will be on the edge of your sit with the twist and turns in this read. Characters that come to life on each page. You feel know them and their emotions.

Must Read. Rix is not who you think he is. Valentina is hiding who she is. Combustible chemistry between them. Secrets of their past and their journey together. You don’t always know why you are with them at times, but your heart does!

A Must Read ~ My New Fave in the Series. This book is my new favorite from the series! I was so blown away by the story and amazing characters. I was pulled in from page one and COULD NOT put it down!! It was full of suspense, hot chemistry and amazingly written characters. This is a definite must read!!

Love it. Another fab read by Meghan March. I've read all the books in this series, loved getting to know the character Rix in this book. Loved the twist at the end, so didn't see it coming. Can't wait to read the next book!

Some lies are worth the trouble. I knew it!!! Okay well I did not really KNOW it until almost near the end...there was no way RIX was a drug lord. But damn you had me. Page after page. Another work of art in this series. Rix and Valentina so unlikely but yet in the shadows for different reasons. Each brought the best out in each other and the story was amazing!! Never saw the twists and turns which makes it that much more addictive. And jesus he is hot...panty melting alpha either way he got the girl!! Thank you for finishing the story and doing the characters justice by keeping them exactly who they are. It was funny, sad and suspenseful. Can’t ask for more...I cannot “tell a lie”.

Beneath Series. I’ve had this series on my iPad for so long.. I don’t know why it took me so long to read it. What a thrilling ride that was .. every single book was unique and exciting... definitely worth the read .. 5 full stars for each and every book 📚
