Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken Book Summary

Four guys.
Constant moaning.
And a revolving door across the college suite I somehow ended up in because my first name is Shawn.

They don't discriminate. Girls. Guys. Grandmas. Plants (okay maybe not plants) all walks of life stroll in stressed to the brim, and leave so satisfied I'm wondering what sort of talents lie behind that door.

My roommate calls them the Pleasure Ponies.
But the rest of the college campus?
They just call them the new face of Wingmen Inc. A paid for relationship service that makes big promises.

Breakup? They'll glue you back together again.
Depressed? They have the magic pill.
Lonely? Just spend a few minutes while they rub you down and you'll forget all about it.
And broken hearts? Well, that's their specialty. They'll fix you.
For a price…

I swore I wouldn't get involved.
But apparently, they like a challenge, and a girl who doesn't put up with their BS is basi-cally like waving a red flag in front of a bull.

They. All. Charged.
But one holds my attention above the rest.

Knox Tate looks like a Viking — and getting pillaged is starting to look more appealing by the day. Though he's hiding something — all of them are. And the closer I get. The more I realize that some things are left better in the past.

Welcome to the new face of Wingmen Inc — You're welcome.

Co-Ed (Rachel Van Dyken) Book Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Fun to read. It was funny and reminded me so much of college days. It was an easy read.

Fab Read. When Shawn transfers universities, she assigned to a male roommate in a men’s dorm by accident. She also ends up as a suite mate with the “pleasure ponies” as her roommate calls the new incarnation of Wingmen Inc. The “ponies” are a quite something and they decide to befriend her. She starts to really love these guys but Knox in particular starts to mean so much more. But there are some secrets that have yet to be revealed and that could cost Knox and Shawn their budding romance and maybe more. This was a terrific addition to the series!

Co-Ed. 2 stars at most

Spicyyy. This book was spicy from the very beginning! Loved it, easy read, highly recommended!

Review: Co-Ed. Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken is a spin-off standalone romance set in the world of The Wingmen and is sexy, steamy, and heartwarming. Told in dual POV between Knox, one of the new generation of Wingmen, and Shawn, the poor unfortunate female soul with a boys name which lands her in the boys suite of her co-ed dorm. As a new transfer Shawn takes what she can get as far as room assignments but when her rest is interrupted thanks to the questionable activities of her suite-mates she wants to throw in the towel. When she actually lays eyes on the "Pleasure Ponies" that are across the way she is immediately drawn to the tall viking God of the bunch, Knox. Knox has been closed down for the past three years. Yes, he's been putting in his time as an Intern with Wingmen Inc., but his soul has not been in it. Not since the incident. The new girl in their dorm has him all twisted up and he has no idea how to handle himself around her. Sexy, steamy, with just enough angst to keep this a page-turner the relationship between Shawn and Knox (and Finn and Leo and Slater) is scorching. Loved it! Enjoy!

Good Read!. It’s a good read, BUT the climax of the story is a bit unrealistic in my opinion. The characters are great and balance out each other, although I think that the relationship between the main character (Shawn) and Knox was rushed in a way. Besides that, it’s good to read if you have nothing better to do!

Cute. The story was funny and interesting. College students are working a romance developed. Not a fan of the student life.

Great Read. I loved it. As a mixed girl, this is the first romance novel I have read where I could completely relate to the main character. Thank you x a million.

Loved it!. 5 Stars Co-Ed by Rachel Van Dyken is a spin-off of the Wingmen Inc. series and can be read as a stand-alone. Four hot guys and one girl? SIGN ME UP! It was so so good and I really should not expect anything less than AMAZING from a Van Dyken novel! Each book of hers continues to get better and better and Co-Ed is no different. Ms. Van Dyken touches on an epidemic that is a very real problem in today's society but does it in a way that is moving. Shawn finds herself living in a dorm with a bunch of guys being that the college thought she was one herself. It wouldn’t be so bad except for the guys across the hall and their moaning clientele. When her roommate warns her against them little did she know how much her life was about to change… The Pleasure Ponies sure know how to show a girl or a grandma or two- how to have a good time. Every woman wants them. Their clients leave satisfied and always come back for more. Well when Shawn comes barreling into their lives they have no idea how one girl is going to change everything… Oh my gosh!!! I was not expecting to love this story as much as I did. Yes it was funny but it had so much depth and emotions. The banter between all of the characters was hilarious and had me smiling from ear to ear. It was also heartwarming and beautiful. Co-Ed flowed well and I am seriously hoping there will be more books in this series. I highly recommend reading this story!

So freaking Good!. I loved Co-Ed!! Rachel is a fantastic writer. I can’t ever put her books down. 3 of her books I read in 1 day each ❤️ you won’t regret it!!!

sooo good!!. loved all the boys and their personalities!! and loved knox and shawn together

Sweet quick read!. Love the exchange between the male characters. Really great twist that had my jaw drop. Will add to my favs list.

It’s unique, funny, sexy, and smart!. Co-Ed is a standalone novel. It is also a Wingman, Inc. spinoff!! I was so excited when I found out since I loved the original series. Ian and Lex. Blake and Gaby. The movie. It’s unique, funny, sexy, and smart. This is another side of the business. One that needs more than one wingman at a time... Shawn was warned to stay away. She was warned not to challenge them. It just would make them want her more. She should have listened but she couldn’t ignore the way they made her feel. They each had their own way of making her feel special. Protected. Adored. But it was the grumpy one that drove her crazy. She felt his gaze. She felt his heat. She felt the protectiveness. She also felt his coldness. With the others she didn’t. What happened to him that made him so hot and cold? Was it something she did? Was she just a game to him? A challenge to win? She didn’t transfer her junior year of college to be played with. Leo was the sensitive one. Finn was the sexy one. Knox was the hot one. They were the ultimate team to give pleasure to anyone who needed it. They each had their talents. They also have their secrets. Will their past make Shawn question the trust they have built? The friendships they have made? Rachel said it best. This book is not what you think, or is it? Four men care about one woman. They want her to relax. They want her to be careful. They want her to be happy. They want her to feel good. And if anyone can do it, it’s them. They were recruited and trained by the best. But can they just be friends with Shawn, the feisty suite-mate who challenges them to their core? Overall...I love this book!!! We don’t only get one sexy, protective, sweet, and witty man but we get four! Each of them have a different kind of banter with Shawn. I love that! I fell for them all. I can’t wait to see who is up next to fall. P.S. I ❤️ Horny! Quotes: “He, he, he—” “Oh hell, you’re already stuttering, and he probably just said, ‘Hi.’ Am I right?” “Seriously come,” he pleaded. “Bet you say that to all the girls,” I mumbled. “But why?” “Because you shouldn’t have to walk when you have three chivalrous gentlemen willing to give you a ride.” He winked. “I bet you’ve been waiting all day to use that double entendre.” “Two days.”

Movie related?. Someone please tell me I’m not stupid because I watched a movie that only had two wingmen. So this was a spin-off? That’s actually really cool. I enjoyed this book so much. The characters are so funny and Knox is every girl’s wet dream.

Disappointing. The author’s attempt to write about a biracial woman was awful. How many times cause you describe her skin as ‘chocolate milk’ or ‘mocha’?

Relevant. Refreshing. Great plot. I really enjoyed this book, something different I loved the themes and how it addressed racism from the elite. I enjoyed the story it was very well written and the how the truth was revealed. It was mentioned so often you had no choice but to read on to find out what truly happened. It was very well written. But for me Leo seemed to be the star for me. Dark & broody Knox underwhelmed me. The book was entertaining and engaging and so relevant.

It’s ok. Slow start, nothing really happens til the last third.

4.5 Stars. I wasn’t expecting to like this book as much as I did! It’s a great story. I loved the story behind the boys and why they had fallen out. It’s a sweet, simple read but it’s also very flirty and funny at times.

Couldn’t put it down.. I read this book from cover to cover only stopping to sleep. It tackled some serious issues in young peoples lives but without getting to heavy or lecturing. The writing was good, sometimes serious other times lighthearted and fun. All the characters were believable and I look forward to reading other books in the series.

Co-Ed. Very interesting reading. The words flow into each other. This book has romance, suspense and humour. Cannot ask for more. I loved it.

Educated. Love this story of the hot guy with the shy hot girl. Everyone has a story to tell - pleasure ponies included. 🥰

Love the new faces to Wingman Inc. I’m having a hard time trying to put into words just how good this book is and how much I loved it, you know a books good when you find yourself only only giggling but you find yourself smiling like a Cheshire Cat even though no one else is in the room, now to the review without giving to much away. Shawn ends up sharing in a male dorm just because of how her name is spelt and that’s where she meets three guys who are the new faces of Wingman Inc, her first encounter is when she sees then escorting a spaced out girl from their room across the hall the next is in the shower and that’s where the nickname Shower Girl came from..... Wingman Inc is all about pleasing and helping others who need their services but what exactly are the services and how far are Knox, Finn and Leo prepared to go for their job. Rachel has a way of covering some serious problems with out making light of them but still putting her own plend of humour into the story, I loved the characters in Co-Ed, the chemistry is sizzling hot, their friendship and loyalty shines throughout and the witty banter is perfect. Looking forward to more from the men of Wingman Inc.

An excellent read. Where can I start with Co-Ed, it has been hands down my favorite read of this year. Rachel Van Dyken’s new spin on a reverse harem is something that you will love. For Shawn transferring to a college was hard but being room up with 4 seriously hot men doesn’t sound too bad…unless your new roommates are the newest Wingmen Inc creation. When Shawn’s roomie Slater advises her not to get mixed up with the Pleasure Ponies, she has no idea just how much she should have taken his advice seriously. The Pleasure Ponies are hot, sexy and willing to service all; their list of clients runs from regular college guys and girls and even your typical granny that lives next door. When Shawn enters a weird and unique friendship with the three she never expected to fall for Knox Tate. Co-Ed is a college themed romantic comedy that has the perfect mix of sexual tension, romance and of course comedic relief. I could not get enough of Co-Ed, it hooked me right from the start; with great characters and an excellent story line you will not be disappointed. Fingers crossed that we get to see more of the Pleasure Ponies in the future.

Enjoyed this 5/5. Who doesn’t love an alpha male? And you’ve got your pick in this book and series. An enjoyable read
