I love Emmett. I just loved this book. I loved being able to see what Emmett was thinking throughout the original book. We also get to see a lot more of Jim. This just made me love him even more than I already did. One of my favorite types of book is when its retold in the guys POV. Melissa didn't dissapoint in this book. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

Awesome Book!. Emmitt’s Treasure by Melissa Haag is an awesome addition to the Judgement of Six Series providing readers with Emmitt’s version of what occurred during (Mis)Fortune, which was told from Michelle’s point of view. As in (Mis)Fortune, the main characters are Michelle, Emmitt, Jim, Nana Wini and Michelle’s little brothers Aden and Liam. If you loved these characters in (Mis)Fortune, you will love them even more in Emmitt’s Treasure (ET)! Melissa reveals more information about each of the characters in ET and we get to see sides of them that we had not in the other book. I loved Emmitt in (Mis)Fortune. He was sexy, caring, sweet, funny, devoted and patient. He went out of his way to do everything he possibly could for Michelle and her brothers. In Emmitt’s Treasure, Emmitt is SO MUCH MORE! Wow, what a great guy! I liked seeing that he had a difficult time dealing with things and was not perfect. Michelle is a terrified 19-year-old girl running away from dangerous people with the sole responsibility for caring for her two brothers and keeping the three of them safe. She is sheltered, brave, beautiful inside and out, frightened, caring and determined. We also got to see her through Emmitt’s eyes, which was awesome. Jim. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JIM! I liked Jim in (Mis)Fortune. He was the funny, diversion that you just had to love. In Emmitt’s Treasure, we get to see much more of Jim and it was AMAZING! Jim is very smart, caring, sweet, loveable, determined, funny and amazing. I loved getting to know more about him and I want to see much more of Jim in the next books. The book flows nicely between action and building romance. It also incorporates background information into the story smoothly. Even though I knew what would happen, I found myself routing for Emmitt and being devastated when things did not go as he hoped that they would. I love companion books when the first book is written from one point of view. They provide insight into the other side of the story and this one gives the other side of the story and additional information that left me stunned! I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next in the series! Five STARS * * * * *

Made me love Emmitt!. Emmitt's Treasure by Melissa Haag is the companion novel to (Mis)Fortune, the second book in the Judgement of the Six series, and is told from the perspective of Emmitt Cole. He is reluctantly making his way home from service in the Army back to the responsibilities and duties that await him with his 'people', a small group of werewolves in Montana. Along the way he assists the exhausted and terrified Michelle and her two young brothers. The story unfolds from his point of view and gives great insight to his character, the depth of his devotion to Michelle, and his relationship with his brother, Jim. Although patience becomes his mantra throughout the story, the author does a great job conveying his real sense of desperation to protect, claim, and share his life with his Mate. This book includes more interaction between a wider variety of characters than the previous companion novel, Clay's Hope, due to Emmitt's larger family group. Though it is not necessary to read his mother's story to enjoy this book, it is fun to compare Thomas' and Emmitt's similarities. The author left the reader wanting more in the end and greatly anticipating what happens for Jim. Overall, another great addition to the Judgement of the Six series. This reviewer received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Another Great Book!. Well Melissa has done it again, another fabulous book. The judgement of the six books are so great. They take a popular genre and make it new. This is not the average warewolf book. These are books you will read over and over again. I highly recommend this series. Now about this book. Emmit's Treasure goes hand in hand with (Mis)fortune, Michelle's story. It covers the same timelines, and gives you Emmitt's pov. But It does so much more. You get a better understanding of Emmitt and his parents expectations of him, you get to watch through his eyes as he gives everything he has to get the fear to leave Michelle's eyes. You also get much more insight into Jim and Nana Winnie. Turns out Jim isn't just a goodball, he has a serious side too. This is a must read. Teaser: cookies!!!! Only problem with this book is you will be unable to put it down!

Love the unique perspective. I have loved every book written by Melissa Haag. This one is no exception. It would have been easy to just retell the story from the male perspective without adding anything new. This book did not take the easy route. It offers additional, previously unknown, views into the pack interactions and the many individuals who work tirelessly to make the pack a success. I highly recommend this latest installment as it is a must read in my opinion.

Swooon. I loved hearing emmitts sided of the story it out everything Ina different perspective for me as I got the experience it through his eyes as well!

More than a companion novel. Man. This book was amazing. It was romantic and interesting and captivating. It will hold your attention from the very first page until the very end. It isn't a simple retelling of Michelle's story; there's so much more here. Emmitt is a much more complex guy than he seems in Michelle's book. In Michelle's book, she's so busy worrying about Blake catching up to her that she doesn't exactly consider what Emmitt's up to. Here we see, and he is not idle. He's a prominent member of the pack. He also has a lot of wooing to do in order to get Michelle to open up to him and trust him. It's almost exhausting hearing about, but it's also sweet and endearing. We also see lots of Jim and Nana Wini (with lots of funny moments). Any expectations you have coming into this story will be surpassed.

Fabulous Treasure of a Book!. ****Spoilerish**** Oh, I loved getting into Emmitt's head; loved every minute of it! And Jim-so much more about him and so many more scenes with him; what wisdom he has. Thank you for that "bomb," Melissa! I refuse to believe it until it really happens! This books is so revealing and many times I was suprised by what Emmitt was feeling about Michelle and at the lengths Emmitt (my heart hurt for him most of the time) and Jim went to, to help her. Makes me love Emmitt and Jim even more than I already do. Emmitt's Treasure is an awesome book full of danger, humor, and sweetness that I could not put down. You never cease to amaze me with your books, Melissa Haag!

Good read!!. Wish had lil more sex.. but still a great read

In a word.... WONDERFUL!

Once you pick it up you won't put it down!. Melissa Haag is easily one of my all-time favorite authors already, but everytime I open a new book of hers I am still awed. Emmitt's Treasure is no exception. I love reading from the hero's point of view. And his undying devotion to his heroine will make any girl swoon. If you've already read (Mis)fortune you may think you know how this book will go, but you'd be wrong. Seeing the events from Emmitt's perspective changed how I viewed Michelle's story in a great way. And I fell deeper in love with other characters that may have seemed like they had minor roles. Emmitt's Treasure has made me even more excited for the rest of the Judgement of the Six Series and their companion novels if that is even possible

surprising and swoon-worthy. Another fantastic piece of writing! To be completely honest, I am normally not a fan of re-reading books in an alternate POV, but Melissa Haag has twice now managed to surprise me and capture my interest with her Judgement of Six companion novels! Out of all of the Judgement men I also wasn't a big Emmitt fan, I think because I was least enraptured--though enjoyed it for her contribution to the overall story--by Michelle's story (Mis)Fortune. (I tend to like my female narrators a little more fierce.) But hearing Emmitt's side of the story--besides his thoughts making him so more swoon-worthy--gave me a lot of missing information, helped me understand the werewolves, and I adored getting to know Jim and Nana Wini more intimately. Jim's joking and brotherly banter with Emmitt had me cracking up, and their familial relationships with Nana Wini were heart-warming. A really great read, even if you're alternative-POV-skeptic, though I recommend it be read with or after (Mis)Fortune.

Excellent reading, Melissa Haag can sure write a good book!. I Received an ARC of this book on my Kindle app, but still purchased it on iTunes to go with my full set. Yet another fantastic book from Melissa Haag!! As par for all her writing, I couldn't put the book down, stayed up late into the night reading. I don't normally re-read books either, and there are very few authors that I can say I've re-read their books a second time, let alone 3 or 4 times (or even more) like I do with Melissa Haag's books. I'm already re-reading this, after I just finished it. I Highly reccomend this werewolf series, "Judgement of the Six" (you'll understand this book better if you start with the first book "Hope[Less]" or the companion book to "Hope[Less]", "Clay's Hope") I recommend ALL of Melissa Haag's other books as well (I've got them all so far). This is the companion book to "[Miss]Fortune", ("[Miss]Fortune" is told from Michelle's point of view, while "Emmett's Treasure" is told from Emmett's point of view- of the same story). They aren't just a rehash of the same book either! There are so many details in the plot that aren't seen from the woman's point of view, until you've read it from the men's point of view in this series. I think I almost prefer the men's point of view. Don't pass up the companion books thinking it's just the same story, you learn way more from the men's POV & love the werewolf/man even more, in my opinion. Knowing what's going on in his head makes a huge difference in the story. There were a few surprises in this book, that I did not expect from reading all the other books in the series as well. Wow! Can't wait for "Luke's Dream" (the next companion book to [Un]Wise, Bethi's story) coming out next!

Swoon Level Midnight: Another addictive read from Melissa Haag. The Judgment of the Six series is like a can of pringles: you can't read just one. Needless to say, after I finished my pre-release copy of Emmitt's Treasure, I went back and re-read (Mis)fortune. Then I re-read ET, then I started on Clay's Hope and am smack dab in the middle of reading the whole series over again. Melissa Haag has firmly planted herself within the top of my auto-buy list with each new release. My notes on this one range from swoon level 4 to swoon level midnight, and from giggle snort to snorfle pee. It's laugh out loud funny at times, deadly serious at others, and majorly romantic in brief instances and then all at once. Emmitt is reserved and there's a lot more to him than what we get to see in Michelle's pov, so much so that I was wrong about a few things that he did or thought and now love him way more than should be possible for someone who isn't technically real. If you are not a big fan of paranormal books, you might still enjoy these. While the story is very much about gifted women and their werewolf companions, it's so much more than that. It's about family, destiny, love and courage. It's about standing up for those you love and for what you believe in, even in the face of grave danger. All it takes is a little support and you can do a lot more than you ever dreamed possible. Start reading the series for free today and find out for yourself how easy it is to become enthralled by the world of the Judgment of the Six.

Loved Emmitt!. Wow! Is really all I can say! I loved reading Emmitt's POV. He is so caring and loving but also has a very protective side of him. From the get go all he wanted to do was protect Michelle and he did. He showed her how to trust and how to love. This book was amazing I highly recommend reading it. I have to say if you loved reading about Clay you will definitely love reading Emmitt's story!

Wowzers!! So good!!!. Melissa does it again!!! Such a good book!!! I love getting Emmitts side of the story and getting to interact with others in the story on a different personal level than Michelle. Though you know the story from (Mis)Fortune its very different told from a male perspective. And Jim!!! If you dont absolutely love him by the end then something is wrong!! A very well told story and the writing is as good as ever. Loved this to pieces!!!

<3 these Cole brothers. This is the companion novel to (Mis)Fortune. We know from that book that Emmitt is patient and wonderfully kind with Michelle and her two younger brothers. We also know that he’s fiercely loyal and willing to do anything to make sure she feels safe, even if that means keeping himself away from her. All of that rings true in this one too. And all those swoon-worthy moments from (Mis)Fortune are explained here, and you’d think with that explanation that they would be less swoon-worthy. Not so, my friend…not so. In this we see his motivations, his fears, his insecurities, and his struggles. These are things hinted at in (Mis)Fortune. We also get more history of the compound and of others in the pack. And we get more Jim. But we find out that Jim is in training…of what, I won’t say. Just know that I love Jim. If you’re afraid that reading the same story from a different POV would be tedious and boring, worry not with this. I know there are quite a few POV companion stories that are nothing more than an exact retelling with no new information. This isn’t one of those. It isn’t as varied as some others that I’d read, but that works with this story. Ms. Haag takes this story and makes it bolder, richer, and more dynamic. Her ability to write the story is growing through this series. Don’t get me wrong, she’s talented from the beginning. She’s just honing her craft, as all good storytellers should. So, you should know this by now…Read this book. FIRST, read Hope(Less), Clay’s Hope, and (Mis)Fortune) before reading this. THEN read the rest of the series. You won’t regret it.

Great companion books!. Thank you Melissa! This book is amazing! Im so happy. This POV from emmits is so different. I was able to learn more about him as well as his family and everything he went tru with Michelle. Loved it. It wasn't the same as its companion so please people dont get discouraged. Just because its a POV doesn't mean is the same. So much more!! Its a must read for all you JOT6 fans!!!

Love Emmitt's love. Emmitt's Treasure is the companion novel to (Mis)Fortune. I'll admit that out of all the companions, I thought this one would be the most redundant. However, that did not change my excitement of reading it because of Melissa Haag's writing style. Emmitt falls for Michelle much harder and quicker than I interpreted from her story, and his love and devotion are beautiful. Melissa also threw in a few surprises and confirmed some suspicions. Another awesome read and swoon worthy werewolf!

LOVE Emmitt!. I absolutely love this book; "Emmitt's Treasure" the companion book to (Mis)Fortune from The Judgement of the Six Series. There are many companion book to the other POV of an original book and they are not that great. Sometimes it's boring and the same exact story. This is NEVER the case with Melissa Haag's Judgement of the Six Companion series. "Emmitt's Treasure" was like a story in itself. Of course it follows the same storyline with (Mis)Fortune but I feel Melissa portrays Emmitt's POV in a way that you learn so much more of the story. I love the banter between Emmitt and his brother Jim. Nana Wini has always been a favorite supporting character for me and she grew even more of a favorite. The development of the supporting cast is amazing and really brings out more understanding of the whole story between both books and the series. Don't miss out on this book. I do recommend you read (Mis)Fortune first; however you can read Emmitt's Treasure first. Another amazing book, Melissa Haag; can't wait for more in the future.

You will never look at cookies the same again!. ***I recieved an ARC in exchange for an honest review*** I have come to expect a certain quality of work from this author, and I was not disappointed! Melissa Haag promised and delievered exactly what I had hoped this book would be!! This book is the companion to the second book in Ms. Haag's Judgement of the Six series, Misfortune, which is my favorite book in the series so far, so I had high expectations for this book. I laughed, I swooned, and I fell in love with this character all over again! Not only that, but you also get to see more of the interesting and hilarious personalities of the other characters, such as Nana Wini, and the ever lovable and beloved Jim!

Another Hit by Melissa Haag!!!. I loved hearing Emmitt's point of view concerning his relationship with Michelle. It was romantic and immediate. Being immediately connected to Michelle, they had to overcome so many outside influences, including their own doubts and fears, in order to become what they were meant to be to one another. In the Judgement of the Six series, we learn from each of the women what it's like to meet her mate; they go through many trials as they fight not only to figure out what part they play in the pack community and the life of her mate, but how she will survive attacks from outside sources bent on destroying not only the pack but humans also. This is the story from the male POV, and it is so sweet to see the emotions and thought processes that he goes through during this initial period also. You see why he's so torn between following in his father's footsteps and becoming a pack leader and the responsibilities of keeping his mate safe and fighting against the Urbat. I found it to be intense, passionate and tender. I always enjoy seeing a love story from a male point of view, and the werewolf is such an alpha position to see the emotions from which makes it that much more poignant. As much as I adored Emmitt in Michelle's original story, I fell in love with him when I got to see their love affair from his POV. Melissa Haag has a story telling gift and did a wonderful job of telling this one from a male's perspective. I loved it and even knowing the story per se, it made such a beautiful difference to see it through his eyes.

So much ❤️ for Emmitt!!. This book was brilliant! I love this series and being able to see it from Emmitt's point of view makes it even more enjoyable. This book allows you to see deeper into Emmitt and what his thoughts and feelings are for Michelle and the situation surrounding their lives. It also allows you to have an insight into some of the other characters and learn more about them than what you have done before. This is A MUST READ!! Melissa Haag has an amazing way of sucking you into the story and making you want to re read it over and over again and still enjoy every moment of the storyline and characters! Already pre ordered the next book and can't wait for it!!

Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I love this series and this has just improved it. I thought the first companion novel was amazing but this just blew that one out of the water. This is based on the male PoV, I find that usually if an Author is good at writing the female PoV then the male PoV is usually not very good as it is the same old story with just a few changes, but this was not the case there are additional scenes, and write in a completely different way. Out of the whole series (mis)fortune (which is the female PoV of emmitt's treasure) is my favour. now I just can't choose which sides my favourite is, I think I like reading them together. If people like werewolf/paranormal/romance novels I would definitely recommend this series and this author as she writes under a different name as that series is brill as well.

Loved!. I love this series of the males POV. It's really makes you fall in love with both sides all that much more by connecting to them while they struggling to adapt to the human life style while fighting their own werewolf natural urges and habits. Amazing book can't wait for the rest of the collection 😍

A must read for this series. I loved this book, from start to finish it really highlighted Emmitt's point of view and his brother OH my GOD such a classic guy and his little digs at the couple make the book really enjoyable, i loved being able to read from emmitt's point of view.

Great read. Great read. Didn't grab me early like the others but once I got started I had to finish it!!
