Great book!. Another great novel by Carmen! I always know when I read her books I am going to fall in love with the characters. I'm sure there are plenty of woman who can relate to Jana. Don't we all want to be loved and respected! Thanks for another great story!

A hit at home!. Loved the story, and the glimpses of southwestern PA. As a resident of Greensburg I was pleasantly surprised to experience it through the characters perspective!

So great!. I, as many women out there can, could relate to the beginning of this story!! Except, I had three children and he kicked me and the kids out!! I wish I had had more confidence in myself (even to this day) to realize that you're stronger than your greatest defeat. I'm still trying to get to the real me before my own life is wasted!!

Great book!. Loved the story with all the ups and downs the characters in the story have. Jana goes through a lot of growing and finding out what she really wants.

Some Lucky Woman. New author for me. What I liked most was the length of the story and no rush to tell it. I knew all along Jana would end up with Adrian, but I almost wanted it to be Howard. The subject matter was different and I didn't mind there was no hot and heavy sex. I didn't like the fact that her relationship with her son was not close or that she compared him to her x husband. As a mother she should have worked harder at that. Not a great book, but a decent one.

Some are Lucky. Jana has had some bad luck with her men and finally decides she doesn't need men! It is a very sensitive and humorous book. I would recommend putting it on my to read list!

Recommend. I really enjoyed this book & could relate to the main character which kept me hooked, wanting to know what happens next. It’s descriptive enough so you can really imagine how the characters & scenes look without being so much that you lose the rhythm of the story. It’s well researched which makes it more believable & I learned a few things. I loved that I got to read the 3 books in 1 so I’m not ending on a cliff hanger, unsatisfied. Very intelligently written so it makes you think & wonder how much is fiction & how much is real!?!

Inspiring, Empowering, funny. I love the way she takes control of her life after divorce. The best type of revenge. A wonderful strong female character, I enjoyed this book immensely .

Confused. I’m confused . I like the general storyline and writing style. I liked the character development and for the most part the plot. But halfway through I almost felt like I was reading two different books . The son and cousin almost completely disappeared from the second half and I felt like more could have been explored between the director the writer and her beau. All in all after what I felt was quite a detailed book I felt that the HEA came too quickly and easily

When I started reading this book I thought it would be meeting her physio straight after a chapter but it was different but when she was trying to figure her life out it made me realise that I should do what she is doing. Even though I’ve never been married I always feel lonely but this book made me realise that I need to love myself and I want people to know and like the real me and if they don’t than it’s their problem. This book made me realise that no women should Seattle for less than what they deserve. I would like to thank the author for writing this book because it encourages people to choose their path and that no matter what there is always a way to get through your life problems. This book thought me that honesty is the key to everything so we should always be honest with ourself and stop worrying about what someone thought of them. I would personally recommend this book to everyone who enjoys to play the part of an independent women and want to achieve something in life but they are scared of going for it.
