Disappointed. This book felt unfinished and hurried. Three books leading up to the monster for him to die so easily. Nicolo gets to live and I feel nothing really gets resolved. The book dragged. I was underwhelmed. I hope she published the 4th and last one to tie things in. The first two was good but again, it dragged.

Surrender. 4 1/2 STARS! With the stunning conclusion of the attention grabbing Careless Whisper series, Lisa Renee Jones brings us Book 3, SURRENDER. You do need to have read book 1 and book 2 to fully comprehend this story. It's been a riveting read, and the conclusion was intense! We've been on a roller coaster ride of discovery with Ella Ferguson in this entire series. She was found unconscious in an alley by Kayden Wilkens with a horrible case of amnesia back in Book 1 and has fought tooth and nail to remember who she was and what danger she was blocking out of her memory. She and Kayden have developed an intense love for one another, and as she goes deeper into his secret world, she finds pieces of herself that she thought were gone forever. This book brings answers to some of our questions, as well as a peek into Ella's friendship with Sara as Sara and Chris from Inside Out make an appearance.

What a finale. Conclusion arrived and what a story how all these lives connected! This trilogy is a must read. It is mysterious and of course there’s violence, so beware if this type is too much for you.

Some people (my husband) call me the giant question mark, because I am always trying to solve the problem and find the answers. I have been completely and utterly hooked on the Careless Whispers series since the first book, Denial, was released. Ms. Jones was able to flawlessly weave a tangled web of lies, betrayal, truth, passion, love, and danger. Throw in an irresistible bad boy with a good heart, and a gorgeous woman with the strength of ten men…and you have perfection. I absolutely adored every word of this series, and Surrender was no exception. I truly hope that we get another glimpse into the lives of these characters that we have come to know, and love. Thank you, Ms. Jones, for another excellent novel…I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next. Kristie K

Another Hit. AMAZING. Surrender was an absolutely amazing ending to this series. We finally find out what happened to Ella. I've been waiting for this story since I read If I Were You because Ella intrigued me. LRJ is one of my all time favorite Romantic Suspense authors and an instant one click for me. She is a master at telling a suspenseful tale with plenty of steamy romance mixed in. In this final installment of the Careless Whispers series all questions are answered and the big mystery is solved, but not before a few twists take you by complete surprise. And in between is Kayden & Ella's love story which is so strong you can feel the love these two have for each other pouring out of the pages. You can never go wrong with a LJR book, if you haven't read her yet I highly suggest you start now.

Equisite!. Exquisite, Explosive ending with secrets and darkness all around. Passion burns fiercely Hot between Ella And Kayden, but exposing her past might steal everything they think they are to one another. Will she survive against the monster in her flashbacks, or will this powerful man be victorious in his pursuit of Ella. “Win at all costs, or die forgotten”. I was Captivated from the first page of this series. Sinfully sexy and darkly beautiful, Lisa Renee Jones weaves a stealthy sensual, twisted game of cat and mouse that sucked me in completely and had me turning the pages faster and faster. Nothing is as it seems. Trust no one but yourself. Fantastic writing, story, characters, build pace, everything. As much as I didn’t want it to end, as much as I didn’t want to say goodbye, it really was the perfect ending. All the feeling and connections pouring through, made my heart feel full and happy and made me love the characters even more. Loved every minute of this series. Highly Recommended!
