Say You Love Me by J. S. Cooper Book Summary

There are some guys you just can't forget.

There are some girls that catch your eye.

There are some guys you just can't say no to.

Cody Brookstone. He's my best friend's brother. I've known him for years. Fancied him for what seems like forever. And of course, he's never noticed me. I've always been his sister Mila's annoying friend, but I'm about to change that. Mila came up with a plan for me to snag him. I'm going to make him mine. One way or another. The plan is fail proof. Well, not really. There are plenty of things that can go wrong. Plenty of ways that my own heart will get broken. But what's the path to true love without some risk?

There are some girls you can't get out of your mind.

There are some guys that can break your heart.

There are some girls that make you rethink everything.

Sally Johnson. My sisters best friend. Sweet, funny, always there. She's got one of those smiles that makes you happy and a body that goes on for days, if you know what I mean. She's crept into my life making me feel things I don't understand. I can't give her what she wants. Even if I love giving her what she needs. Or rather what I need. I didn't expect everything to go crazy. I didn't expect for everything to get out of hand. Now I've gone and got myself in a mess that I don't understand and I can't fix easily. Sally's the one girl that's got me thinking that maybe, just maybe, I don't know it all.

Sally and cody <3. I loved the thought of the two having a story since I Mila and TJ’s book. Honestly, I have to say I did get confused many times, but after I’ve read it I thought it was really a lovely story and you did create a good plot. I felt in some phrases that you mixed names and when I read the end to tel the truth it really anoyed me that she said “I love you Cody Walker” instead of Cody Brookestone. I know all of us makes mistakes, but it really bothered me. I’m not trying to offend you, so sorry if I gave that impression… I really really really like your books…. but I can’t say I wasn’t upset...

Worth the wait. Ok so we had a wait a bit for Sally and Cody's story but I think it was definitely worth the wait!!! Poor Sally really broke my heart!!! Cody was so dense I wanted to wring his neck!!! Towards the ending of the book was rather hard for me to read because of my emotions but that last chapter Cody really pulled through and made me fall for him!!! I will leave you with my favorite segment..... “You know.” “I know nothing.” “Cody!” “That's my name.” ‘I'm your true love?” “I said it.” “You don't believe in true love though, you’ve told me that several times.” “I believe in you.”

Another great book by J.S. Cooper!. I was so sad when Four Week Fiancé was over, but I was so excited when I heard that she was going to write a book all about Cody and Sally. This story was beautiful, romantic, and heartbreaking all at once. I highly recommend it. I was given an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion, but I would have purchased it anyway.

love love LOVE. LOVED this story! I was very excited to find out she was writing a story with these characters. I just can't get enough of J. S. Cooper!! One of her best!

Loved their story. I received an ARC copy for an honest review!! Sally and Cody's story was beautifully written even with the emotional roller coaster with their relationship. I found Sally's character a little insecure ( probably because of her past) and over obsessive towards Cody. With Cody I found him a very confident guy but boy did I want to slap him a few times!!! I loved Cody's words in the end and that Sally got her fairytale! I'm looking forward to the next series for J.S Cooper

Very enjoyable!. While reading this story I felt as if I was Sally and went through everything that she did. This story was very well written, relatable, and highly enjoyable. I do warn you that you won't want to put it down once you start! 😉

Loved Sally and Cody’s Story. J.S. Cooper is one of those emotional writers that will hook you from the very beginning of a story and take you on an incredible ride. Say You Love Me is one of those emotionally intense novellas that just hooks you from the moment your eyes touch the page, willing you to continue reading until the very end. Say You Love Me is a story about Sally Johnson who is in love with her best friends brother who has shown no interest in her at all, when her best friend Mila comes up with a plan to bring the two of them closer. Cody and Sally spend time together and become closer forging a bond and an undeniable chemistry. The level of emotion that J.S. Cooper writes in this novella is quite fantastic, you feel everything from rage, sadness, love, lust, to quite honestly depression at certain points in the book. I love the depth that she gave Sally's character you truly were able to relate to her from the very beginning as a female and truly just felt for her. You wanted things to work out for her and hated when she was treated poorly and used during certain parts of the book. The up's and downs with the emotions were like an emotional roller coaster but it was well worth the ride. The one drawback for this novella that I have to say is with the ending. While I love the happy ending that our MC's got I felt like the ending may have been a tad rushed. Cody just seemed to have let everything out and Sally accepted it even though she was in a deep depression trying to move on and forget him. I just felt like it could have been drawn out just a little bit more. Please don't get me wrong this is a personal preference the book was still utterly fantastic. This truly is a great story by J.S. Cooper!

Wooooohoooooo. i love js cooper books this a awesome story long waited story

Together at last. Cute story about Cody and Sally which ties in with Four Week Fiancé. Great to see childhood friends ending up happily every after. The story was good but the characters whined too much and always confused but I guess that's the point. I still love 4 week fiance the most !!

Another 5 star hit by J.S. Cooper!. If you liked Four Week Fiance, you will love "Say You Love Me". I absolutely loved it! This story follows Cody and Sally, Mila's brother and best friend! Sally has crushed on Cody ever since they were younger and it has only grown since then. He is the man of her dreams and fantasies, if only he could see her as more than just Mila's best friend. Since Mila has TJ now, Sally feels more alone than ever, so Mila and Sally come up with a plan. Only the plan doesn't work out so well, leaving Sally with more of a broken heart. She can't get Cody out of her mind but knows it for the best that she forgets about him. Cody is one of a kind. A big kid, always joking and never taking anything serious including relationships and never seeing what's right in front of him. When Cody and Sally become close friends, he begins to feel confused about his feelings. He struggles big time and does some jerk moves which only hurts Sally more. When he finally comes to his senses, will he be too late and have ruined everything?

Sally & Cody Finally!!. Sally has been in love with Cody all her life. Cody is a player and has never looked Sally’s way. Sally wants one last time to get Cody’s attention on her. Mia, Cody’s sister, has the perfect idea. Mia’s plan is for Sally to become Cody’s friend and hopefully things will go from there. While Sally and Cody spend more time together Cody begins to realize how special Sally is to him. Now to get Cody to realize that he loves her. Boy that man is hard headed. What a fun story to read. I wanted to smack Cody upside his head to maybe jiggle his brain to rights. Definitely a must read and I loved these two together!!

Finally 😀. I received an ARC of this book and absolutely love it. I have yet to read one of her books and not enjoy it. She is brilliant.

Loved it. Loved the story, couldn't put it it down

SAY YOU LOVE ME BY JS COOPER. Say You Love Me is the third book in the 4 Week Fiancé series. It carries on with the journey of Sally and Cody’s HEA. It has some twists in there but I am not going to give anything away. You must read it to find out how they get to their HEA

I loved it!!. Say You Love Me will keep you entertained and engrossed the entire book. This is Sally and Cody's story. We First met them in Four Week Fiancé as Mila and TJ's best friends. Mila is Cody's sister and Sally's BFF. They have been friends forever and Sally has been in love with Cody for just as long. Cody is a player. He is sexy, hot and girls fall for him. Cody doesn't do love and relationships, so he isn't sure what to do with the things he feels for Sally. I had so many feelings when I read this book. At times I wanted to cry for Sally because unrequited love is an awful feeling. Plus Cody gave so many mixed signals. I about blew a gasket several times for how Cody acted! There were times I'd laugh, times I'd cry, times I scream and times I'd swoon and fan myself! So buckle up and get ready. You won't know how this is going to turn out until the very end.

Dally and Cody story. I had a lot of anticipation for this book because I loved the others. I really enjoyed the story and how it folded. I was sad to see as many typos as there were for the book being pushed back so many times. I am hoping there will be one more book in the series for the 4 of them to take part in as 2 couples. **I received an ARC for my honest review**

one of the most heart ravaging and soul searching stories. Say You Love Me is undoubtedly one of the most heart ravaging and soul searching stories that I have ever read. Just when you think you have felt it all, this book gives you a healthy respect and admiration for the adventure known as love. The very thing that the can brightened the darkness both inside and outside of you can also make your very soul crumble into a million pieces. The power that is wielded by love is nothing to be taken lightly and above all we should tread carefully when dealing with the heart and feelings of others. Our world is one that depends upon others, so no matter how solitary we think our existence is, it relies on the generosity and charity of others. Sally has held her love close to her heart for as long as she can remember. With a sad joy she has watched him grow up and change before her eyes. She knows his strengths and his weakness, and yet she still can’t stop from keeping him always in her heart. As she watches her best friend Mila get her long sought after love story, she steels her hopes for her own happy ending. Trying to borrow the courage she lacks from Mila, she sets out to win her love Cody’s heart. If he could only see her for who she is, he will without a doubt fall in love with her. When her heart begins to weaken under the strain of unrequited love, Luke walks into her life and shows her that she is worth every tender caress, every sweet kiss, and all of the time, devotion, and respect that she desperately longs for. Could it be that the problem lies with Cody, or is she missing an important piece in her daring plan to help love blossom? If I thought that Mila’s story shredded my heart and ripped my soul, I was in for an even more intense ride with Sally and Cody. While TJ at least acknowledged his depth of feelings and love for Mila from the beginning, Sally feels as if she is trying to draw blood from a stone in trying to gage Cody’s feeling towards her. Emotions will be ravaged, hearts will never be the same again, and the souls of those involved will know a purity of emotion that they will never forget. For two people who fit so well together in every way, it devastated me to watch the game of life and hearts play out before my eyes. J. S. Cooper knows how to create a magnificently epic story that will challenge everything that you hold dear. Her craft involves painfully and beautifully baring her soul and allowing both the brilliant light and deadly darkness within to play out in an epic struggle of the heart. I count each and every creation as a rare and precious gift that can never truly be repaid in kind. We can only show our loyalty and gratitude that she would be allow us to revel in the incredible brilliance that is this wonderful lady.

So whiny!!!!!!. I don't usually do reviews or want to ever say anything negative about a book. I love this author, however this book took everything I had to make it through until the end. I can go with a woman that needs a little pick me up, but the entire book was whining with a little more whining. Read her other books, or if you can handle very little romance, sex or story this is the book for you. But please read the other books by this author!!!

Ugh!. Do not waste time or money. Same dilemma same mental anguish and then it simply ends....not a very good story.

Say you love me. Lousy! I don't know that Sally could be more pathetic. Boy, did her wallowing in self pity drag on. It was the whole book! And in the end he never did tell her he loved her! Very disappointing story.

BREAKOUT THE TISSUES... YOUR GOING TO NEED THEM!!!. Cody and Sally’s story is an emotional one that will have you feeling all types of ways. Although this is the third book in JS Coopers “Four Week Fiance” series It is a stand-alone read against the first two books. However to gain a better understanding of the two main characters backstories and how they become to be I recommend reading the other two books first. Like within the first two books JS Coopers writing descriptions of the emotional rollercoaster throughout this book will make you want to continue reading it until the end regardless. Just make sure you have a box of tissues on hand!

True love story!!. I'm so happy that Sally and Cody got their own book. Sally has loved Cody for as long as she could remember and Cody was so oblivious to see it since he doesn't believe in love, which made me mad at him and want to strangle him. I'm glad that they became close friends. It only made their bond stronger and eventually made Cody open his eyes and realize his feelings for Sally. It was worth the wait.

Emotional Read. Good story and definitely emotional. The author tugged at my heart strings so many times. I could feel Sally’s pain and at the same time roll my eyes so hard they almost got stuck at Cody and his stupidity. Cody is the perfect example of clueless dude. Sally has been in love with Cody for years, but he never seems to notice her. Sally is Mila’s best friend and Mila is Cody’s younger sister. Cody has pretty much decided that Sally is too good for him. He doesn’t do relationships. Mila’s genius idea is to put Cody in the friend zone because Cody always seems to want what he can’t have. They become friends but it just hurts Sally’s heart to keep doing it, so she decides to move on from Cody. Will Cody wise up before it’s too late? I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

Say you love me. I have read quite a few of JS Copper books and have loved them all this one is no exception. Cody and Sally's story was full of heart break and sadness. There was a few times where I thought I needed a tissue. I wanted to slap Cody myself for being stupid and not following thru on how he was feeling for Sally. I also wanted to slap Sally for her to get over him too and try it out a little more with Luke. I was a little sad at how the book ended I was expecting a little more. I was looking forward to an epilogue maybe we're Mila and TJ got married and Sally and Cody were engaged. I was also so confused when Sally says she loved him at the end of the book and called him Cody Walker instead of Brookstone there were also some graham error but overall great book can't decide which I like better Mila and TJ or Sally and Cody. Thanks JS Cooper for writing books and can't wait to read the next book.

A fun quick read. The book was a fun read and I like JS Cooper writing style. It was not my favorite book by JS Cooper but it was descent spin off from four week fiancé. The book definitely captured how dense men can be when it comes to relationships. It had a predictable ending but overall a enjoyable book.

Love story. I love this story. I really like that it's connected to one another f her other books. I would suggest reading four week fiancé first. I find this book very relatable. I wish I had a friend like Mila.

Another great from J. S. Cooper. Great story of love and how the base of a good relationship is friendship. Couldn't put it down.

I Say I Love It!. ****I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.**** This is the love story of Cody and Sally. It is a spinoff from Four Week Fiance & Four Week Fiance 2 (the love story of TJ & Mila). I have read Four Week Fiance and Four Week Fiance 2 which were both great books. I was so excited to read the story of Cody in Sally in Say You Love Me! I must say that I liked Say You Love Me better than the Four Week Fiance series. I think it's because Sally was so relatable. I think we've all been in her place at one time or another where the person we want to be with doesn't reciprocate our feelings. Sally thinks Cody is her soulmate. He also happens to be her best friend's brother. She is so sure that he is her "one.” She’s been in love with Cody for what seems like all of her life. She doesn't understand how she could have feelings so strong & sure for him & not have them returned. Cody is a player living the bachelor life....dating & screwing different girls. He doesn't see anything wrong with it, especially when he lets them know not to expect anything more than a quick romp. He's happy with how his life is going & has no desire to settle down. Sally & Cody end up forming a friendship bond since his best friend, TJ, and her best friend, Mila, are now a couple. They start hanging out a lot due to the fact that their best friends are occupied with each other. Cody finds Sally attractive but doesn't want to cross that line and mess up their friendship nor Sally & Mila's friendship. He cares about Sally but he doesn't want a serious relationship of any kind. Sally is dying inside being this close to him; just waiting for Cody to realize that she is his other half. She is tiring of waiting for Cody to wake up & realize they belong together forever. She doesn't know if she can keep waiting for Cody to realize they are meant to be together. Will Cody ever realize they are destined to be together before it's too late??? You will have to read to find out. This was a very good story. The characters were very relatable and believable. I could feel Sally's despair, and cried with her and Mila. There was angst, love, laughs, crying, friendships, heartbreak, steamy scenes, and a HEA. I would recommend reading this book, but also recommend reading the Four Week Fiance Series first in order to get a good background on the characters although it is not necessary. Thanks for another great read Jamie!!!! You did it again!

Worth the wait.... JS Cooper has done it yet again!! I was super excited to hear that JS was going to write a story for Sally and Cody. If you read Four Week Fiancé then you already know Cody as Mila's brother and Sally as her best friend. If you haven't read that book, then make it your next purchase! Sally has been in love with Cody for as long as she can remember, and of course she believes that he will never see her as anything other than his sister’s best friend. Sally continues to hide her feelings and suffer while having to see him date girl after girl. Mila decides that it’s time for a plan… to make Cody fall in love. There are plenty of ups and downs with both characters and their story will leave you in a whirlwind of emotions… laughing, crying, frustration, excitement… one step forward and two steps back for sure! Say you Love Me was a winner for sure....loved it and loved the ending. Sad to see this series come to an end, but can’t wait to see what’s next from from JS Cooper!!!!

Great!. "Say You Love Me" by J.S. Cooper is a great read. I enjoyed Sally and Cody's story. It was great to get to know Sally and Cody better. It was also great to get a little more of Mila and TJ. Another winner from J.S. Cooper. Recommend for all fans of romance.

A book you can relate to!. I received this book as an Arc review. I will say that I was not really sure what to expect after reading Four Week Fiance and Four Week Fiance 2. I was interested to see how the relationship between Sally and Cody would develop. Without giving too much away, I will say that the feelings from Sally are completely relatable to myself and maybe other out there. The feelings Cody has can be relatable to people out there as well. I also loved to see the relationship development between Mila and Sally and how Sally had to work through her feelings for her friendship. I recommend this book to anyone to read as I am sure you will relate to someone in here on some level to their feelings.
