Pamela Callow. Her books are incredible. I hope she continues with this series!

Good book. Not as thrilling as first in series. I did think it was a good book. Well written. It was clear however that the husband didn’t do it and didn’t take much to guess who did. His reasoning was a surprise and I did like the book but I felt like the thrill and suspense didn’t come until almost the end.

Indefensible. Great read. Kate is a strong character.

House a mess. This book doesn’t allow you to do anything other than anticipate the next chapter so therefore, my house is a mess and yet all I want to do is move on to book 3. Hopefully I have the will to stop after the 1st chapter so wish me luck and READ THESE BOOKS bc you WILL NOT regret the decision to spend the money on them!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR BOOKS and please keep doing what you do best with more books. Just keep them long like the 1st two in the Kate Lange series!!

Indefensible. Pamela Callow is a very talented writer. Have read 2 of her books and now looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend.

Rape ignorance. I can't stress the level of rape ignorance in this book. I have to delete it, it's so bothersome to me. The rape shaming and the ignorance, no one needs to read that. If you're going to read this, know this: someone having an orgasm does not mean they were not raped. Rape is not about sex, it's about power. And if you've survived rape, and your body is one that responded, don't for one second think you did something wrong, or you liked it, or you wanted it. Our bodies respond to things, they just do. It's like when they experience pain, our brains are flooded with a chemical that's akin to being high, to get us through the pain. That part, that part when our brains are flooded with that chemical, it doesn't mean we liked the pain, it means our bodies are responding to help us survive. So if you were raped, and your body responded, it was a matter of survival, and that's it. Don't let anyone tell you, oh, if you had an orgasm, it wasn't rape. No. If you didn't want it, you didn't want it. And that makes it rape. It's that easy.

Another great one. So glad I found this series! Great characters, great writing I’m really enjoying her books, just bought the next one

Characters so real you forget...... ...that this fiction! I wanted to stick my hand into Alaska’s fur for comfort. Amazing attention to detail and the story was plausible, which literally sent shivers down my spine. As Kate’s situations and moral dilemmas presented themselves, I was more and more drawn in. Each of the other characters were really well written. Really impressed by this author. I was right there in the middle of the action and could hardly tear myself away. Bravo!

Indefensible. Great story - as Pamela Callow continiues to flesh out her characters she brings them to life.
