Give it 8 weeks & see what you have to lose. I decided to get this book after reading a sample & being drawn in to Jasinda's real life story, for me the info on the way to a healthier lifestyle was secondary.... at first. As I read it I came to realize the #wilderway was the more manageable, stress free way for me. The focus is on cutting sugar out of your life & getting some movement in however what I gained more from it is the knowledge that while I may not eat a lot of things that are well known to be full of sugar, I do eat things that hide their sugar well. Jasinda's book gives you an overview of how she came across the fact that sugar was the cancer that was overtaking her health & the way she took that knowledge & worked out a plan to take back her health. It worked for her, she beta tested it & proved it worked for others & now she's sharing it with the world! Is this a new diet fad, new info, some unknown secret? No, not to anyone who has struggled with weight loss it isn't. What it is though is the basics & an easy 8 week plan to follow. You work your way into it, week by week. You may lose weight, you may not but what will happen (if sugar is a key part of your diet) is you will feel better, healthier, and ready to continue towards your weight loss goals or healthier lifestyle, following her plan or some version of it. I don't like to truly cut anything out of my diet & I don't feel I have the 'sugar addiction' that a lot of people have since I can really take it or leave it but I'm giving her way a try to help boost me back into losing weight, after not really trying for a couple years. It'll truely be my detox of eating unhealthy & putting the focus back on healthy choices. Jasinda's info on some healthier, sugar free/low sugar, options will be worked in cause many of them sound good.... or are good now that I have tried some. Will I be running at all? Nope, but walking... that I can & will do! We'll see where this brings me in 8 weeks but so far so good!

Is it possible for a book to save your life?. Is it possible for a book to save your life? Absofreakinglutley!! Right before I was ask to be apart of this journey I was told I was going blind. With my diabetes out of control taking up to 6 insulin injections a day, and my blood sugar still running in the 300s. After only 4 weeks of doing this journey for the first time since becoming diabetic my blood sugar is constantly running in the normal range, with no daily injections. This book is amazing. The book is about Jasinda, her life, and journey to where she is today. Just look at her pictures, they are worth a million words.

Even w/auto immune condition #WilderWay WORKS. I was desperate. I was skeptical. I AM a believer now because I feel better, and have found a life plan to follow. My entire family is benefitting! I'd done everything my team (YES, TEAM) of specialists traditional+naturopathic have recommended for my overall health, weight loss, I'm post Lyme w/Fibro ( and several other issues like my brand new IBS) that affect my energy and weight. THIS book, and learning to eat the Wilder Way, has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! --I was optimistic but skeptical...just finished the 4 week/1 mo. "Detox phase". Results: I'm far less bloated, my face is thinner, my skin less red and dry, lost 4 inches off torso, have more energy, and 6 lb. down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Viva the Revolution!. Wow is all I can say. I have been bombarded with "If you want to lose weight you need to do this...."my whole life. However it normally came from someone who never looked like they struggled in the aisle of the grocery store to leave the Twinkies on the shelf and keep it moving. I can trust Jasinda because she's been there and she's done all of that and she found something that works for better health and has shared that with all of us. I can't wait to start mine and my family's journey. This is not a sprint, it's not a quick fix. It's the start of a new beginning to being healthy and in the end happier because my family will feel better, stronger and can live the life we were meant to live. Wilder Way-all the way!!!

Loved it!. Loved this book! Been sticking to the program for almost 4 weeks and really liking the changes I feel. Who knew wogging would be something I like to do. This book explains things really well. It's easy to follow. And not overwhelming at all. Jasinda is amazing!

A fitness memoir. The memoir (which makes up the majority of the book) is an inspirational story. The diet and fitness portion isn't really anything new.

Realistic and Manageable!!. really enjoyed this book, it is very informative, realistic and heartwarming...In the last year and a half I have lost 148 pounds, but I've been at a standstill for the last month.. This book has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and give something new a try in my diet.. I have exercising down. ..and I try to eat as clean as possible.. But I have a horrible sweet tooth.. And the sweets I crave are not good for me.. This book gives me hope that I'll be able to overcome this and it doesn't take away sweets, it replaces it with better and healthier substitutes!! My gut feeling is this will be a game changer for me.band for everyone who gives it a shot...I saw another review stating they wish there would have been more in the book about exercise..but it has been scientifically proven that weight loss is 80% of what you eat and only 20% exercise.. So I think this book has it right..yes there is more focus on what you eat... And I'm thankful for it.. I recommend this book for anyone trying to lose weight or maintain.. It's not a diet.. It's a lifestyle change..one I'm ready to dive into head first!! And I can't wait to start the 8 week challenge!

It's brilliantly crafted, utterly raw, and undoubtedly the best "health" book I have ever read! I laughed, I cried, ate chocolate, drank wine, and laughed and cried some more. I have never before felt more empowered, more beautiful, more proud to be a woman. Jasinda taught me to not only love myself but to love my body and to love it enough to fuel it for life, for living. And although I have a long way to go I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel, a stronger body, a smaller pants size, and less numbers on the scale, who by the way is now my friend and no longer the dreadful enemy. Like we say in the South—the proof is in the pudding. Well, folks, Jasinda is all up in my pudding. Just look at the cover! There's all the proof you need! She looks absolutely fabulous!

Love love love this book!!!. This is by far the best book about nutrition I have read. I love that Jasinda tells her story starting from the time she was a little girl up to today. The recipes she shares in the book are awesome!!! Even my picky 15 year old son who WILL NOT eat pasta loves the macaroni & cheese recipe. Each week is laid out for you in terms of what you need to do & seriously it's so easy!!! I have already recommended this book to many of my coworkers.

She opens up and tells the story of her struggle with her weight and health with humor and honestly and gives the tools that can be used for a lifetime. This book is an open honest and humorous approach to health, weightloss and total wellness.

Amazing. This is a great read, funny and insightful. After failing at everything for over 30 years I'm super excited to get started changing my life. With failing health at 37 and losing my mom because of health issues two months ago I need to start somewhere. I will write another review in 8 weeks.

Game Changer. This book was a game changer for me ! I've struggled for years with my weight, lacked motivation and defined myself by the number on the scale. Jasinda is so relateable and her program WILDER WAY is simple and easy to follow. As you read through the book, it's almost like she is right behind you praising you for your efforts and encouraging you along the way through the pages. She educated me on the food industry, and made me change my relationship with food, and helped me believe in myself ! I encourage everyone to give The WILDER WAY a try. Its an 8 week program and within that 8 weeks you will see so many changes ! Pick up a copy !!

Give her 8 weeks.... I read this book with some trepidation. I haven't run for exercise EVER, and honestly didn't care to start, but I saw that one of my favorite bloggers mentioned the book, and I did a little bit of research. The author, Jacinda Wilder, has worked hard on herself, and I was so happy for her and so incredibly inspired that I HAD to know what she did. As a fellow big girl, I've become tired of being stuck no matter what I do. Jacinda wrote a truly inspiring book. It is well written, and has real, practical advice. I'm starting her 8 week challenge, and for the first time I have real hope. Her plan is completely doable. I'm thrilled that I stumbled upon this book. I seem to find the very best books that way :) I’ll try to update this review after 8 weeks :)

8 Weeks can change your life!. Jasinda Wilder's book is a breath of fresh air in my life! For too long I have been reading health and wellness books that I myself just could not relate to. Starting one, and never following through. This book was different, something about her story struck a cord in me, and totally changed my way of living! All her experiences, all her yo-yo dieting, it all was so relatable. The Wilder Way is not only going to change your tomorrow, it's going to change your entire life going forward. I loved that this book was part memoir, part cookbook, part health and wellness program! Everything was laid out and easily explained for readers.
