4.5 Stars!. 4.5 Stars! While the Darkest Link was Reid and Lia's story, it was also just as much about the continuation of Harper and Trent. I loved that this book got to be about Harper's brother and tying him to Lia, another Second Circle character. In the first book, we found out that Reid disappeared after the trial with Harper and Nathan and how much Harper missed her brother. Bringing Reid back into Harper's life while giving him his own love interest in Lia made this series that much sweeter. It also tied up loose ends about Harper's past. I've really enjoyed this series and was very happy to see a sneak peak for Jordan from Peload will be the next book. Ever since I read about him in The Purist Hook, I was hooked on him! ***ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

An absolute must read. Seeing this series end makes me want to cry! Luckily a spin off series looms ahead and I can't wait. As with each book in this series you can easily read standalone but do yourself a favor and read them all. This author is one of my best discoveries. Finally we get Reid's story! I've always wondered what happened to him after reading The Strongest Steel and now we find out. Lia has always been a favorite character of mine and to see her get her own HEA was great. A chance meeting on the roadside leads to a night of passion between Lia and Reid. When he can't get her out of his head and makes a surprise visit to Miami to find her, his past and present collide in a spectacular way! Put this one on the top of the must read list! I highly recommend it.

Love Second Circle Tattoo. In this latest novel in the Second Circle Tattoo series, family drama, danger, suspense and hot sex combine for a very exciting read. Juliana Carlisle, known as Lia, has been escaping from her manipulative father for years. She is a talented tattoo artist and loves the work she does with Second Circle and her fellow tattoo artists. She loves to draw but as a child her father would punish her by taking away her art supplies. She started drawing on her own skin, and her career was born. Lia is heading for Orlando for a speaking engagement at a tattoo expo and her vintage car breaks down on the side of the road, of course, in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly a dark "knight" appears on his motorcycle and stops to help. Lia has always had a thing for bikers, and when this dark sexy man in leather appears she is very happy she hadn't called a tow truck yet. Reid Kennedy, moved to Fort Pierce five years ago after escaping Chicago. His past was something he was trying very hard to forget. His business, Kenny's Auto Shop was doing well and Reid was starting to enjoy his new life. When he spotted the beautiful red head with mile long legs standing next to her broken down car, there was no question about stopping. Not to mention her classic bright red car she named Cherry. Immediate heat sparked between them, and the innuendos and banter is hilarious. Little did they know their casual attraction would turn into a passionate love affair with ripples affecting all the friends and family around them. As always, I loved this latest story by Ms. Cole. A Classic Vibe, Smart fit for Characters. ⭐ ⭐ Provided by NetGalley in Exchange for an Honest Review ⭐ ⭐ Judging a Book by it's Cover: B&W tattooed male torso with bold font and color choices for the text. I've read and really enjoyed the previous books to this series and did not read the synopsis when requesting the book to review. Looking Deeper: This one is Lia's story, written in a third-person perspective. Lia is bright, quirky and fun, a pinup model worthy tattoo artist at Second Circle. Kenny / Reid is the hard-working, motorcycle riding mechanic that comes to Lia's rescue when her car dies on the side of a country road. Classic story line for such a classic character. Kenny / Reid had ties to the series that were revealed early enough and things started tying together nicely. The chemistry between the characters was fun and flirty until it became carnal and combustive. They were refreshingly open and honest, but not infallible to human error. Secondary characters included previous couples in the series, as well as some newer characters. Dialogue was on point and interactions were believable, as usual with Ms. Cole's books. The plot was dynamic, but I'd predicted several elements long before they were revealed, which took some of the enjoyment out of it for me. There were conflicts, most were resolved well. I found myself wondering - in the epilogue - what became of Lia's mom and the final decisions of the garage in Fort Pierce.
