What a fun & sexy modern fairy tale come true!. What a fun and sexy modern fairy tale come true! I really enjoyed this story about Prince Nicholas Pembrook of Wessco and New York waitress, Olivia Hammond. It's playful, yet emotional, and had me hooked from the start! Nicholas and Olivia both feel bound by family obligations and responsibilities and are going through the motions of their lives. A chance encounter sets both their worlds spinning and on a journey that neither of them expected. Their start is rocky (and hilarious), but as they let the other in, they find in each other, that missing piece from their lives. A comfort and happiness that neither has ever known. When the drama of expectation and obligation rears it's ugly head, readers are thrown into an emotional upheaval just like Nicholas and Olivia. The story is told from both of their points of views and it helped so much to heighten the pains and joys of our hero and heroine. Yes, the plot/outcome was fairly predictable, but the angst and drama along the way made this an emotional read at times. I enjoyed it so much that I listened to the audiobook as well and let me tell you, Shane East was incredible. He really brought Nicholas to life and had me shedding tears in some of the heavier scenes. Definitely recommend the audiobook for this delicious read! The epilogue was perfect and I am excited to continue on with this series. Bring on Henry! ;)

Royally Screwed. A fantastic and sweet love story that pulls at your heartstrings!

Modern Romance Royal’s Style. Royally Screwed is like one of those modern fairytale stories where the common girl and the prince fall in love, but it's different. It's not like a Disney version. It isn't like one of those overly dramatic rich and famous soap opera sagas either. There's mucho sexiness and real life problems. The plot kept me entertained. I loved all the characters. They're not perfect, but they're still good friendship material people. I like how everything didn't fit perfectly. Or maybe the way things go is actually more perfect. I have to mention the funeral march scene. It made my eyes tear up. In fact, the storyline did a good job of pulling me into the emotions the characters were feeling. Also, I don't think I've ever thought about how hard it would be to live up to expectations of being born royalty and in line for the throne. I would love to see this play out in film, and I'm looking forward to the next Royally book.

AMAZING!. I am completely and utterly in love with Olivia and Nicholas! I swear I stayed up for this book, and the fact that this was free?! It’s just amazing, I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to relive themselves from a reading slump, or just needs a new steamy romance book to fall in love with! <3.

Boring. I want to finish reading but it’s too boring

Loved It!. I love Ms. Chase's books! She writes full characters with all the human flaws but far greater goodness. You care about the characters and I have to admit to tearing up at one intense, emotional scene. Royally Screwed was another home run. Nicholas and Olivia have to work through their own "Cinderella" story. But what could have been a saccharine sweet story reads fresh and current. I highly recommend this book!

Royally perfect good read!. The Queen lays down the law. Her grandson must marry. Prince Nicholas goes to the US for business and to look for his brother. In a drunken state of licking his wounds he goes to Amelia's for a late night snack for his best friend Simon. Olivia runs the small coffee and dessert shop. Nicholas doesn't know what him until he can't live without Olivia in his life. You have to read this story it's really good. Loved it.

Royally Screwed. I really liked Olivia and Nicholas. Easy, romantic read with humor. I did not not appreciate the open bedroom door so I skipped those pages. The foul sexual language and innuendos added nothing to the story. 7/21/21

Delightful. Prince Nicholas is looking for a distraction when he finds a pretty waitress named Olivia in NYC. Drunk, and slightly disorderly, he propositions her and gets pie in his face. This is the beginning of an intense and unbelievably romantic relationship. The question is, for how long? The Prince will be king and must take a bride who fulfills the royal requirements. Will Olivia fit the bill?

Love. This is a great book. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

FUN. SEXY. SWOON WORTHY.. Emma Chase first made me fall in love with an outrageously arrogant, hilariously sarcastic investment banker. Next she introduced me to a group of type-A, highly competitive yet entertaining lawyers, and I lost my heart all over again. This time she’s granted every girl’s childhood fantasy: a royal fairy tale complete with dashing princes, castles, and a dour queen. You see where this is going, right? Oh yeah. She did it again. Royally. I fell totally in love with the story and the entire cast of characters, all of whom are unique and highly entertaining. Nicholas is the perfect blend of entitled arrogance, sarcastic wit, and sexy charm. Olivia is the epitome of a fiery New Yorker who tells it like it is, even to the prince who’s used to everyone fawning over him, especially women. She’s strong, unwavering in what she wants, and the perfect foil for Nicholas’ commanding cockiness. The secondary characters are outrageously funny and extraordinary in their own right, leaving me wanting more of them. Book two will feature the wild antics of Prince Henry. I almost feel sorry for the unsuspecting heroine whose life is about to be turned upside down by the endearing prince. But I need more of the remaining characters too: Olivia’s sister, Ellie; her friend/employee, Marty; Simon & Franny, Nicholas’ best friend and his wife, who I might just have a girl-crush on. Seriously, they’re so real you wish you could hang with them. The only downside to creating a fabulous supporting cast is that they deserve their own stories too. Hint. Hint. Royally Screwed is filled throughout with wicked humor and sexy times hot enough to singe eyebrows. The beginning is fun and exceptionally romantic, almost swoon worthy. But the last half left me breathless. I loved it, and can’t wait for more royals. Get Royally Screwed now! You'll enjoy every minute. Then, if you’re new to this author, treat yourself with her Tangled and Legal Briefs series. 4.5 Stars

Such a good Book!. These two kids just became one of my favorite set of characters!! Love Nicholas and Olivia's fairytale!! My new favorite royal couple!! 👑 Couldn't put it down, finished in less than a day...so good! Can't wait to see what trouble Henry creates in Royally Matched. First time reading a Emma Chase story...she has a new fan!

Romance Vs. Responsibility. The path to true love is exciting and perhaps bumpy at times but the path for a Prince and commoner like Nicholas and Olivia can be totally both treacherous and exhilarating. A great read.

Royally screwed. I loved this book so much! I just couldn’t put it down once I started reading! The characters were all just great, especially Nickolas and Olivia. There was plenty of suspense and most of all I loved the happy ending.

Amazing!. I loved this story from beginning to end. Very Cinderella. Nicholas is a strong, sexy, determined royal. He does find his way in the end. Loved the way Emma Chase played their lives out for us. She described the ups and downs of both classes and the burden of responsibility. The story was a break from my PNR adventures that I love. I wanted something different, yet exciting, and this was definitely it. Olivia is a wonderful women with life weighing her down. Nicholas was her breath of fresh air. The only thing that truly bothered me was when she had decided to stay. Seemed out of character. Fortunately, as life does, a wrench was thrown in. Well done. I loved all the characters. Including those surrounding the main characters. I could read it again. Or perhaps I’ll read Henry’s story. Interesting turn of events. Enjoy!

Royally Romantic. Great book! Romantic and witty!! Can't for the next book in the series!

Good title for fun book. Even when you know what the anxiousness of the book is going to be, it was a good read. Strong male characters and even stronger female leads. Romantic and steamy read.

Uh... The ending was dry and confusing! The last chapter Nicholas abdicated the throne, called olivia a fleeing bîtch, fled to be with olivia and claimed he’d do dishes. Then in the epilogue they are getting married! Nicholas is somehow still a prince and Olivia has a title. I don’t know what happened to the queen where she decided to plan their wedding. There was no mention of the queen changing laws since Nicholas had to marry a royal. I am soooo confused! The ending was rushed! Nicholas acted so surprised that lucy betrayed him and told the press! Like there was any other bad person in the book who wanted revenge on Nicholas. Nicholas never did trust her, just wanted her until he had to wed. Nicholas was selfish the entire book, not being honest about his situation, wanting Olivia to become his mistress, dragging her all the way to his home, not letting olivia leave his home, calling her names, accusing her of betrayal, etc.

Royally Screwed. Loved it. I read a lot and this is one of my favorites. The characters were real and believable.

A Beautifully Modern Fairytale. If you’re a sucker for a not-so-predictable romance novel, then I highly recommend this book! I’ve read tons of books and this easily goes in my top 5 favorites!

Modern day Fairy Tale. This was such a great book. It's is a modern day fairy tale between a prince and a commoner. Olivia is just your average New Yorker, struggling to keep her family's coffee shop a float. Nicholas is a Prince in line to be a King running away from his future for a few months. They meet, and so begins the fairy tale. All of the characters are so well written, and the story is so great. It pulls you in from the start. It has all the feels, humor, love, heartbreak, great sex, and an HEA, as all great fairy tales have.

Royally Screwed. I really liked this book, but I’m am very miffed that Jane Stilthouse got away with treating Olivia so badly. Otherwise, the book was great.

This is different. I really enjoyed the story well written with the overall premise of the book a forgone conclusion I will say the Emma had a few goods twists and turns. Don't know if it was worth the high price but a Emma Chase book is always going to be good and this is no exception.

Royally Perfect!. This book was so good, I didn't want to put it down! It's completely addiciting with combustable chemistry, clever comedy and intense feels that gave me full body tingles! This modern day Cinderalla tale with a dirty taking prince is an easy #oneclick.

Excellent!. I found this book while scrolling through Instagram, and my expectations for it weren’t very high as I’d never heard of the author before. However when I got to page 32 I couldn’t manage to put the book down and move on with my life, I devoured it not moving until I had finished reading it. I know now not to judge a book by its author and cover and my instincts are crap. I’m not a spoilery reviewer so I’ll leave you with this. Read the book or you’ll regret it.
