My Husbands's Wife. A perfect remedy for insomnia

Unlikeable Characters. Great examples of dysfunctional families and people without a moral compass! But if you like to have at least one character that you care about, have empathy for, or just like then look elsewhere.

Not quite as good as it sounds. The premise of the book is good but the storyline falls a little flat. It’s pretty easy to “guess what’s going to happen next.” The characters are fairly one dimensional and hard to relate to personally. Also, the author’s writing style is a bit unconventional in that she tends to jump around timelines and the flow is off at some points. It was a nice try, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark.

Decent read but not great. This book started out strong in the first half. During the second half, the plot was all over the place and the characters were no longer interesting or very well written. I finished it just to finish, but became bored.

Page turning content book. For the longest time I wasn’t able to pick up a book and finish it I read this book and I finished it quickly. The suspense made me want to know. And the shock it gave. Absolutely love this book. And it is such a good read! I have also had to tell others about this book just because the ending twist!!!!

Enjoyed this book. Decent read. I haven’t ever read this authors books before. It was a good read and interesting turn of events.

My Husband’s Wife. I liked the way the story weaved in and out, with the exception of the epilogue, it was a little drawn out, maybe parts could have been worked into the story. It was easy to read in one day.

Chaotic. Well written. I don’t know who’s side to be on in this story. It was quite a sad tale

Dragged out. This book was so dragged out, i felt I wasted my time reading a soap opera over a mystery/thriller book.

Decent read. I’m a thriller enthusiast & this one was a 5/10 in my opinion. No real twists or surprising turns, but a page turner none the less

Disappointed. I didn’t really care for this book :( It seemed like there was a lot crammed in the end of the book. And just too much tragedy. It didn’t leave you feeling good in the end. Unsettling

Beautiful character work. I actually enjoyed this novel more than I thought I would. It was a captivating story full of complex and broken characters. No one was perfect, some were better than others, but the interconnection was beautiful.

Good read. The writer did a great job and the twist were very good!

Book. Awesome

All over the place. I feel like the author had several ideas and decided to cram them all into one book regardless of whether that made sense or not. Like other reviewers, I hated the characters. I felt like the author breezes through major plot developments and left me wondering if I’d missed some details. I really did not like the writing style at all. (Also, I have never seen so many exclamation points in one book and as soon as I noticed it, it drove me crazy!).

Good but not amazing. “Part 1” is BRILLIANT and captivating. “Part 2” is slightly rushed feeling and somewhat chaotic/all over the place.

Very good in the beginning.... Started off intriguing and captivating...but towards the middle end I didn’t care about any of the characters and was just ready to finish the book.

A must read. I haven’t read a book so quickly since high school. You think you know what’s going to happen but then something different happens that completely blows you away. The way the story flips between two characters adds extra suspense. Definitely recommend reading this book.

Well written. This is a good and captivating book. I like the way she writes. Not entirely too much description but leaves room for imagination. Insinuates a lot without telling you exactly so you think you know what’s going on but you don’t really find out until she goes back to it much later and your like”ah i knew it”
