Breaking Good by Madeline Ash Book Summary

He wasn’t good for her. He never would be.

At eighteen, Stevie Case finally surrendered to her attraction to bad boy Ethan Rafters, sharing one night with him before she graduated and he skipped town on a one-way road to destruction. Years later, Stevie has hit back life’s curveballs and is no stranger to hard work, but when she finds herself working for Ethan, who’s turned his life around, her world shatters not only because their chemistry is still fierce and undeniable but because fate separated them before she could tell him he has a son.

Ethan desperately wants to be a good father and a partner yet he believes he’ll never be normal. The chaos that defines his life has destroyed his relationships, yet Stevie’s acceptance of his flaws tempts him with a life he thought impossible.

Dare he risk Stevie's life of hard-fought stability for his own chance at happiness?

A heartwarming story. 5 stars. I couldn’t put this story down. Such good character development and just the right amount of heat. I want to read more of Madeline Ash’s books. Terrific.

A clear favorite!. I love the series but this one is my favorite. Having a child with ADHD brought home how special Stevie and Ethan’s relationship is. A clear and inbounding love makes this story special.

Strange. This was a strange book for me. Why hasn’t someone offered Ethan ADHD medication to help him? And why does Zach get by being a spoiled brat? Seems all three of them have issues. Glad they finally stayed together though. This book didn’t hold my interest, sorry, it was weird.

Great t. Wrk Giver yes at Higeu. g t we gotc. R aha and game gapp fact-t was a good type t the things g

Breaking Good. This was a very emotional story. Stevie and Ethan had chemistry from a distance since high school. But then didn't see each other again for over 7 years. She thought Ethan was dead. But she had a secret from him as well. I loved how emotional this story was. Everyone having to come to terms with the new reality in a very short amount of time. It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. But I loved every minute of it.

Breaking Good. This kept me thinking about what was going to happen next when I would put it down. So had pick it up again as fast as I could. Great story line.

Inspiring. Madeline Ash has given us a true account on how an adult with ADHD has to function in a normal world and how their thought process works. Ethan proved that he was able with Stevie's love and help that they could have a good life together.

Insiders scoop.. This book gets into the head of someone with ADHD like no other that I have read. A great story with great insights. Thank you for writing about a group of people so misunderstood. I think we should adopt “Attention Different” as the right diagnosis. Again thank you.

Wonderful!. A culmination of a delightfully intertwined series of books from Madeline Ash. I loved meeting familiar characters in the background as I read Stevie’s story. I just loved it, plain and simple. It was funny, thoughtful and heartwarming. A thoroughly enjoyable read, the perfect antidote to a Melbourne winter - summer in Byron Bay!

“Breaking good” by Madeleine Ash. I loved how honest and nervous both Ethan and Stevie were when they were 18. The author beautifully describes their young attraction with poignancy. I love the way the author shows Ethan’s “difference” (severe ADHD) through Ethan’s internal conversations and foot tapping. I think a lot of people underestimate the difficulties associated with ADHD and the author’s description of Ethan’s lack of focus makes it more understandable. Zach is a delightful, entertaining, precocious and very advanced kid. I’m thrilled and impressed that this story was about a “less than perfect” character. What a lovely change of pace! We need more romances about regular, flawed people rather than the usual perfect SEAL / CEO / billionaire / baker / florist / rock star... An absolutely BRILLIANT romantic love story!

Breaking good. Not at all what I expected. It was ten times better. Having a grandson with “attention different”, I so much appreciated the story and the author’s kind words and thoughts on the subject.
