Great mystery!. Overall a really compelling mystery. Ending was a little confusing but the story was very interesting.

Woah!. Loved this book! Could barely put it down. A bit of fantasy to it, but just captivating and powerful! Definitely read it.

Misleading description. If you don’t mind investing hours on a psychological thriller to find out its a supernatural thriller then this book is for you. Very disappointed, do not recommend.

Behind Her Eyes. A good book, the overall premise is certainly unique. The plot and story lines developed nicely through the book, as did the characters. There were enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, sometimes on the edge of your seat. My only criticism of the book is that it seems about 1/3 longer than it needs to be. There is a lot of detailed daily life descriptions that I don't think need to be there and possibly too many character scenes interacting about and then remembering the same thing once the character is known. As such it dragged a bit particularly in the middle, but with some strong editing it could be five stars.

Awestruck. This story was unbelievable (in a good way!). All I can say is the ending is a mind blower (not the word I immediately thought of). Now I’m all prepped to watch the Netflix Movie! The Author is unbelievably talented and the pace of the story is just right. Super excited to read more by her.

GREAT book.. Couldn’t put this book down. Loved it from start to finish. You can really hear the characters voices and emotions throughout. Perfectly paced, and a whirlwind of an ending.

Really unexpected ending. Well developed characters and plot, I enjoyed going back and reading it again as I was lost occasionally the first time around. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was for the bizarre tripe about “losing a half stone”. Louise was big and fat and weak but once she dropped 7 pounds she was fit and lean and beautiful. How demeaning. Thankfully the Netflix show left that out. Highly Recommended!

couldn’t put this down!! INSANE. Just when you think you’ve got this thrilling harrowing and insanely addictive story figured out- think again. I couldn’t have imagined the outcome if I’d spent months attempting to. I’m GOBSMACKED. All I can say is BRAVA!! This is one thriller you won’t be able to wrap your brain around long after the book is finished. I’m still reeling from the ingenuity of this authors talent, cleverness and extraordinarily DIFFERENT aspects of this work of art and it’s ending. It is like none other. Trust that.

Unthinkably twisted. Behind Her Eyes is an extremely engrossing read, once you’ve gotten to know the characters. This is a story about three people: Adele, David, and Louise. Adele is obsessively in love with and married to David. David and Louise, who are mad for each other, are carrying on a sordid affair behind his wife’s back. As if this wasn’t complicated enough, Adele and Louise are new best friends. In a love triangle, only 2 people can win. Sarah Pinborough is a new to me author. Psychological thrillers are not my usual genre to read and I’m slowly branching out to reading authors from other countries. That being said, this book was slow to read at the beginning. I’m not used to reading books written from multiple points of view. You read from the perspective of both Adele and Louse. You also get flashbacks to Adele’s past. Once I got a feel for the characters, I couldn’t put it down. I had to keep reading to find out how everything unfolded. Behind Her Eyes reminded me a bit of Gone Girl, in that the main character is smart and has been planning for the end game meticulously. Your feelings towards her completely flip flop by the end of the story. Oh my goodness what an ending. I had to read the final chapter twice. I received ARC of this book. Behind Her Eyes. Skimmed second half of the book, just silly supernatural, science fiction. Really?! It was such a stunning, unbelievable conclusion I was just at a loss for words. This should be labeled as science fiction gobbledygook.

Seriously? :( what a cop out. I was so excited about this book and up until the last third I wasn’t disappointed :( it could have been really great, but unless you like thrillers that involve the supernatural it’s a huge let down. It’s enough of a buzz kill when the twists in a book aren’t entirely realistic, but this is so much more annoying than that. The book is set in modern day real-world London building you up for some really promising twists over 10 hours... only for that all come down to this goofy semi-magical and 100% physically impossible premise. I got the gist of where it was headed about two thirds in, but I just figured it was a clever way to throw me off the scent of what would end up being a really great natural explanation... nope! It was even more implausible and silly than I feared. Such a let down

Had Me Going. I have to admit that I didn’t see it coming, although, I do think the story could have been told in a shorter amount of time. The 4 star rating is because I’m not sure I cared for the ending. This has nothing to with anything other than how I connected with the characters involved. Other than being repetitive, the author did engage me...and fool me...that was a major plus for me.

Ridiculous concept. The book was well written and kept my attention until I realized how stupid the concept was that tied it together. Really a shame as she is a good writer. She took the lazy way out to solve the mystery.

Easy read once you get used to the chapters flip flopping between the two main characters perspectives!!! #newlyanerd #bookwormlife #doit although I do agree they could have made this 50/70 pages shorter, dragged a little...but I can appreciate the detail now that I have finished. Big tip: a friend told me not to skim over the "then" chapters when I told her I wasn't particularly a fan of them in the beginning! But YES they DO become quite important to the story about half way through!!!

Supernatural Thriller. Don't want to give anything away, but this is more of a supernatural thriller. Just go in to it knowing that so you're not surprised at the things that could never happen in real life. Other than that, you'll think you know where it's going but the ending twist is totally unpredictable.

Terrific Read. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are brought to life brilliantly. The ending knocked me off my feet. Highly recommended.
