Winter in Ireland by Pamela M. Kelley Book Summary

Romance writer Jennifer Graham heads to Dublin for a two month research trip, and to heal from a recent breakup. The last thing she is looking for is romance, especially with another workaholic...and then she meets Ian Shephard.

He is the son of her best friend Mandy’s Irish aunt, the one she’s staying with in Ireland for two months. Oh, and he happens to be staying there too, temporarily, while his condo is being renovated. Their attraction is immediate and takes Jen by surprise. But there are three very good reasons why nothing can happen between them. He doesn’t want a relationship, he’s a workaholic and he lives in another country.

So they shouldn’t be anything more than friends…

Winter in Ireland. Ireland is on my bucket list of places to visit so I enjoyed this fun novel. Realistic characters and a believable plot made this a quick and easy read. Not a lot of drama, so as a mystery lover I found it a bit predictable but still worthy.

Winter in Ireland. While I liked the premise of this book and felt it was unique, the time progression of the events didn’t seem to fit. There were a few typos but nothing that was really distracting. I’d still recommend this book but, in my opinion, it could be polished a bit more.

Great story. What a lovely story. Couldn't put it down.

Winter in Ireland. I have read many of Pamela Kelley's books and they are all great reads. I have always wanted to visit Ireland and someday I really hope to get to vacation there. Love Jen and Ian's personalities and all the characters in the book. Also, how it all worked out in the end.

Basic grammar.. “There were several museums in town...and after visiting both of them...” Several means three or more...both means two. I know this is a nit, but really?

Winter in Ireland. Nice read. No real drama but a nice, cozy romance with a good ending.

Winter in Ireland. Over the book. Hated to put it down yet didn’t want it to end. It’s like looking into other peoples lives and families. Miss them already. Will look for more of your books to read. Thank You!

Meh. Poorly written. Didn’t keep my attention.

Winter in Ireland. Great story without any graphic sex. I loved it.

Fun read. This was a nice little afternoon read. Reminded me that my husband & I have talked many times about visiting Ireland. If the world ever starts to make sense again, maybe we will get to do it. I’d love to visit those quaint little villages mentioned in this book.

Winter in Ireland. Sweet and heartwarming. A romance that felt right. Great ending.

Like Watching Grow...In Slo-Mo💤. I love Ireland and thought a romance based there would be a treat. No, it wasn't. The main characters were so dull and there was zero chemistry. If they were magnets they would be totally repelled by each other. I kept waiting for something to happen. He was a dull workaholic and she was a passionless romance writer. Even after they woke up together in bed, I wasn't convinced any sex happened. The good news.. I found a great way to cure insomnia.

“Winter in Ireland”. Pamela Kelley has another hit on her hands. Delightful, well developed characters in perfectly described surroundings. Jen, from Montana, spends a few months in Ireland, staying with her best friend’s aunt. However, the plot thickens when she meets, Ian, her oldest, divorced son, who happens to own a software company in downtown Dublin. Eventually, with some twists & turns, love conquers all. You will hold your breath until the next novel comes out with these lovable characters!! —Jan Farrell Repath

Winter in Ireland. A cute little story, I enjoy reading Pamela Kelley’s books.

Winter in Ireland. I quite enjoyed this read. A bit of everything was included. She will have a good following, I am sure.

The best. Pamela you did it again, following a series sometimes the momentum changes but your books got better and better. Congratulation will be waiting for Mandy’s love affair.

Winter in Ireland. A sweet slow moving love story. It lacks both depth of character and story. It was like the author set the story in Dublin but couldn’t find it on a map.
