Each book gets better. You can really see how the author excels in each book. I couldn't put them down. The first book was intriguing but each book progressively got more and more addicting. Thank you for the awesome series!

SAMUEL MAFFIE. WEDNESDAY JANUARY 25 (2020

Terrible. This book was truly a disgrace. I was previewing it for my 13 year old daughter to see if it was appropriate and it failed miserably. If Elena was anymore pathetic she would have just layer down and cried the whole time. Also the level of sexuality certainly doesn’t belong in the young adult or teen section. The writer and publisher should accept a little responsibility for providing appropriate character role models for young readers. I’ve only read a few thousand books, but this was one of the worst.

Good plot- bad grammar spelling and more. Book 1 was good! Book 2 was good! Book 3 was manageable but spelling and grammar was hard to get through. I should have learned but I was already invested in the plot line so I took a risk and bought book 4.... huge mistake. Now I must get thru this plot line of a book that has obviously never seen a editor and appears to be written by a teenager, because I spent money on it. Again great plot, and I feel that if the author took as much care with book 3 &4 and she did book 1 it would have been a great series.

Ignorant author, poor storytelling. So many face palms. The writing jumps chaotically between tenses and perspectives, and often feels like the incoherent ramblings of a drunk teenager. I would say it's derivative, but a storyline would need to be complete to even give it that credit. I have a headache from trying to follow the story between unnecessary drama. Not to mention the implausible protagonist - she's unlikeable, spoiled, inarticulate, selfish, thoughtless, and braggadocious. Lastly, the author displays frequent use of blatant racial bias, exotification of people of color and indigenous peoples, and the glorification of ignorance. #notwoke

Enjoyable, but.... Overall I liked this series. It was an interesting storyline that held my attention enough to read it through. That's the good news. The bad news is the author either needs a new editor or she needs to find one. Missing or misplaced punctuation, grammatical errors and mistakes in continuity were present continuously throughout all the books. The other issue I had was that there were several times when the story dragged on with useless fillers. They didn't help or enhance to keep things moving along. Sometimes they felt like everything was coming to a screeching halt. The whole story could have happened in three books.

Love love ❤️. Amazing. Sad to see it end... great writing, great plot and amazing love story!

Loved it. Seriously best dragon book I’ve ever read ! I have all books and I’ve read them at least 3 times, i don’t care if there is grammar or if it was poorly written, my imagination took me to the places i needed to go to in the book, I emerge myself into the story, laugh so much when Elena went on a trip with the drink the shifters gave it. It’s not about how a story is written but how a story makes you feel.

Three stars. Liked the plot enough to finish the series. But found myself skimming over the annoyingly persistent teenage angst.

Could have been good if not ruined by drugs. Very Harry Potter-Ish until the author thought it was a good idea to solve plot problems by bringing drinking, drugs and smoking into it. That and the secrets that were continually talked about but never resolved made what could have been a good yarn frustrating to read. The overall story wasn't that bad, it was all this contrived cheaply defined drama that went on and on that ruined it.

Should have been a trilogy. This series badly needs some proof reading and editing. Although the concept is good the mistakes and tangential details become increasingly annoying.

Wow.. This book was great but, there we're quite a lot of grammar mistakes. It was a great book but it shows that the has not been any editing. Please find this mistake, it is quite annoying.

Amazing. The dragonian series is the best series I’ve ever read, but there is many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors which are kind of annoying
