Obsessed from the very start!!. I don’t know how I stumbled upon this book, but I read both books within a week & I am not a big book fanatic, but I couldn’t put it down! The sequel is just as intriguing! I’ll probably end up rereading these again soon.

Mr. President. The next book in this series cannot come soon enough for me. Katy draws you into her stories and does not turn you loose. She makes you feel everything these characters feel and she makes you believe in love and hope that love will win out. I just cannot say enough to convey the strength of her writing. You just have to read for yourself. If you aren't familiar with her work then you must read each and every book.

Zero Stars. So poorly written. Disjointed and all over the place. I’m disappointed I spent money on this. I can’t even finish it because it was making me irritable...which is driving my OCD crazy but I have to move on.

Oh my!. This book! Oh my gosh, this book! I cannot properly explain how in love I am with this book. I was so excited for the release from the very start. She absolutely did an amazing job writing this book. I hardly know or care anything about politics but I think she did well with making this seem so real! January is going to feel like a freaking year away. I just don't think I can wait another second to finish this story! I loved it so much!

Super Interesting. I really enjoyed Mr. President. I haven't really read any books with this much of a political storyline so I didn't know if I would like that part of it and I am happy to say that I really liked the storyline and thought it was very interesting. This is possibility my favorite Katy Evans book so far. I really like Matt and Charlotte. They are intriguing as well as entertaining and I enjoyed being in both of their heads, I just wish we got a few more Matt POV chapters. I can't wait for Commander in Chief and to find out what is going to happen next with Matt and Charlotte!

Good. This was a good book...I expected more from it though...hopefully 2nd book is better.

Fell hard for Matt and Charlotte. What a great start to this duet! This is the first book in a two part series. I always find books on politics interesting. I'm not a political person myself so I find it fascinating what all goes on in politics. Matt Hamilton is every girl's fantasy and every guy wants to be him. He is political royalty. I felt myself falling for him along with Charlotte. Charlotte knew when she started things with Matt, that if he won the Presidency, he could never be hers. She couldn't stop herself from falling completely in love though. I loved the stolen moments they had and how Matt wanted to protect Charlotte at any cost. I didn't know if I wanted him to win or lose the Presidency. I wanted him and Charlotte to have a chance and I knew if he won, that wouldn't happen. I cried with Charlotte as Matt realized his dream and Charlotte's was crushed. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Loved Matt and Charlotte!

Disappointed. I read the reviews and considered this book to be worthy of my time. What a disappointment. The writing was awful and disjointed. Basically it was about their undying, unfulfilled, secret lust for one another on every page. No witty conversations, no building of character. Extremely boring. I can't justify the 5 star reviews or the cost. The End.

Not for me. I love this author's other books, but this story didn't work for me. It wasn't able to keep my focus. There isn't anything in particular that stands out as something I didn't like. It's just that I couldn't get into it so it felt more like work than fun to read. Most people seemed to really like it. Maybe the timing was a factor for me because of already being burned out with this current election.

My Heart Will Never Be The Same. This was my first book by Katy Evans and I must say, my mind, and heart, are shattered. I was swept up into this world of politics until it was all that I thought about. My heart tugged, rejoiced, and then tugged some more. I now officially say that I want my own Matt Hamilton! I loved the interactions between Charlotte and Matt. They were sweet and spicy whenever the situation dictated. I loved how I got to watch their relationship built into something so consuming and beautiful. Now, I knew how the book was going to end since I knew there was another book coming out. Nevertheless, that just made it more emotional for me as the reader because in every sweet interaction they had together, I knew that it was soon going to come to an end. This is one of my favorite books of all time, and I am anxiously awaiting Commander in Chief! My heart is still trying to repair itself from that heart wrenching ending, and I'm pretty sure that it still will be by the time the sequel comes out. You know Katy, if you wanted to send me an ARC, I'd be pretty okay with that! 😁

Love love loooooooovvvvveeeedddd!!!!!!!. I loved this couple. Matt Hamilton is now my ideal guy. You will not regret read this book! It’s right up there with Fifty Shades and The Fixed book series for my favorite book series’.

Seriously!?!?!. I have never been more ready to read a sequel. I found myself not wanting to put this book down at all. I had to know what would happen with Matt & Charlotte! Katy Evans has done it again!

Loved Matt Hamilton and Can't wait for more!!. I should have known better than to start this book before bed, because the next thing I knew it was the next day and I had completely devoured Mr. President. Katy Evans has a way of sucking you right in, and I couldn't put this one down. Matt Hamilton was so sexy and I just couldn't get enough of him and Charlotte! Charlotte Wells met Matt Hamilton as a child, with her the daughter of a senator and him being the son of the president. Though he said he would never run for president, she wrote him a letter letting him know that if he ever did, she would be there to help him with his campaign. Three presidential terms later, Charlotte receives and invitation to join Matt's campaign. She joins his team and Charlotte is excited about the future and what Matt brings for the country she loves. She is determined to do whatever it takes to get Matt the presidency, but the more they are together the more they find themselves wanting something they both know is impossible for them to have. I loved these two together. They had great chemistry and a connection that felt so genuine and natural. Charlotte was strong and smart, and I loved her passion and determination. She was a breath of fresh air for Matt and his campaign, and I really liked how she always put him first, even when it broke her heart. Matt was sexy and good, and I loved that he was loyal to his family's legacy, yet also determined to forge his own path. He was independent and determined to do the right thing rather than rely on taking the easy road. These two were so sexy together and you could feel the tension and steam between them. I never wanted it to end. I will say that I should have known that this wouldn't be a standalone, yet it surprised me as I approached the ending and knew there was no way that Katy Evans could wrap up Matt and Charlotte's story in the few pages that were left. While I am so excited to get more of these characters that I loved here, I have little patience and I want them now! Luckily the next book in the White House series is set to release early next year, so we aren't left hanging for too long. Even though I hate the waiting, this book was so worth the read and I am glad that I read this one now. This is one of my favorites that I have read from Katy Evans, and I think fans of hers are going to love this one every bit as much as I did. Katy Evans is one of those authors that I just have to read regardless of what the story is, and this one definitely did not disappoint! Cliffhangers. I really hate cliffhangers for so many reasons. This book is slow. Had I known there was a cliffhanger I probably would not have purchased it.

He’s just a man that belongs to the people. A love story born in the world of politics with stolen moments during a presidential campaign. She’s just a girl who sees a man. To her he isn’t the President, but the man she wants to marry. He doesn’t belong to her, he belongs to the public. When the daughter of a senator and the son of an ex-president have a secret love affair the campaign takes precedence over the blooming romance. Becoming part of the campaign never seemed as thrilling as in this moment getting to spend time next to the man of her dreams. I love how Matt’s character was transformed from teenager to man to this untouchable popular candidate for President. Katy wrote a smoldering, sexy, smart and sophisticated forbidden romance. Even in a world of politics it was crisp and smooth. Katy has a knack for creating sexy stunning men who are confident yet humble. Katy began with a banger opening then ventured back to where it all began. Your going to need patience after that opening scene. I like the backstory, yet I’m anxious to get back to where it ended and how and if it will begin again. The hoops they jump thru and the challenges they face are thrilling. The angst, the lust, the desire, and the passion have me wound so tight. You don’t have to follow politics, understand politics, or be interested in politics to love these characters. It’s more than politics. It’s about a man devoted to his country with the support of a young woman who believes in him. Reaching the beginning point is like waiting for the next book release after it ends on a cliffhanger. Pure torture.

YESSSSSSS!. Oh man, this book! My freaking goodness, MATT. HAMILTON. I'll just begin this by saying how much I adore and LOVE this man. Nothing can ever make my heart stutter and skip a beat like the famous men of Katy Evans. There's just something in her characters that are so uniquely enticing and addictive like a drug you can't shake. And I've never been much of a fan of politics, but this author has certainly managed to reel me in and have me flipping the pages like there's no tomorrow. I felt every single emotion surrounding the story, the feels emanating from the characters, the passion, the drive, the love—EVERYTHING. Good god, does Katy Evans know how to bring the swoony, steamy feels like nobody's business! Especially with a forbidden love story like this one. My fingers and toes tingled and curled, my stomach was invaded by an army of butterflies, my heart was beating wildly inside my chest, and it happened the entire time I indulged in this book.

Finished it in a day. Couldn’t put it down! Exactly the book I was looking for!

I would swear that Katy Evans has been a part of mainstream politics to have written a story so complex and detailed on the inner workings of a political campaign and one man's race for the White House. Matt Hamilton is America's golden boy. His father had been president and was well loved and respected until his life was cut short in an unsolved shooting. Now he plans to fulfill his father's wishes of Matt following him into the White House. Charlotte Wells has spent her life on the outskirts of the political arena with her father being a Senator. She had no aspirations for a career in politics until Matt Hamilton decides to run for President and he wants her on his campaign team. This could be her chance to find that one thing in her life that she'll look back on later as the one thing that truly made a difference. Working for Matt could pose a challenge though, as she's had a crush on him ever since she was eleven years old and he and his father, the President, came to dinner at her house. Now is her chance to get over her silly child's crush and prove that she can accomplish great things as part of his team. We won't find out until Commander In Chief releases in January. I was deeply impressed with Katy's clean style of writing. Her unique way of laying out for the reader the thoughts and emotions of both Charlotte and Matt had me glued to the story, immersing me right into their every feeling. The story flows so smoothly that before I knew it I was turning the page and that was it! I was so bummed!! I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next. What decisions are these two intriguing people going to make? How will they make their relationship work if Matt Hamilton becomes the next President? Or will they both make sacrifices for the good of the country? I need to know!!

I am beyond in love with this sexy, fun, and oh so swoon-worthy read!. Holy smokes I wasn’t ready for this one! When I first got wind of this book, an eyebrow raised about it only because of the political aspect. However, that was quickly set aside when I remember that Katy Evans wrote this, I mean come on, she hasn’t disappointed me yet! So of course I started reading with an open mind and boy was this something! This is one of those stories that you just have to pick up and read! The chemistry between our main characters Matt and Charlotte is incredible fire that’s off the charts and the “complicated” aspect of this makes it even more heart stopping. Matt is a strong, smart, and captivating man who has an obvious love for his family, people in general, and his country! You get to see his character show through his actions and the love that he developed for charlotte was undeniable. Charlotte was incredibly sweet and caring, and watching the relationship between her and Matt develop was incredibly fun and lighthearted. She helped him become an even better man and it was heartwarming to watch! The progression of the story was incredibly smooth and it slowly stole me away. It gripped my attention from the start and at no point did it let go. For a while they tried not to acknowledge the feelings they had for each other, but of course that avoidance didn’t last forever and they finally gave in (and boy when they did)! This story was told slightly different from the way I remember Manwhore and I actually loved it just as much! I was, but I really wasn’t ready for what this one brought and to date, this is one of my favorite books, alongside every other book that I’ve read by Katy Evans. This one was entirely too much fun to read and I CANNOT wait for the next one because this one did end on a cliffhanger! These characters are phenomenal and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them next!

Mr. President. Yet again Katy Evans has smashed it! This story is such a juicy read filled with drama, forbidden kisses and just plain lust! Every story that is released by Katy just gets better and better! She has and will remain to be 1 of my favourite authors. Highly recommend this book to everyone 10/10

Yet another 5 Star Read from Katy Evans. I have been up most of the night because I had to finish Mr. President once again Katy Evans drew me in and had me hooked from page one. I'm so in love with Matt..... Two characters who met briefly years ago, both of their parents were in politics so they were bound to have a lot in common but what they have is so much more it's an addiction to each other, it's sizzling chemistry, it's love but will that be enough after all Matt promised his First Lady was going to be the country..... If you haven't one clicked this book I would recommend you do because book 2 in the series is out next month and I for one can't wait for Commander in Chief Another fantastic series in the making from Katy Evans

Mr President. Mr President by Katy Evans. Adored. Breathtaking. Charming. Delicious. Enchanting. Forbidden. I could go through each letter of the alphabet and describe this book but the letters that stick out the most are L because I freaking LOVED Mr President (both the book and the candidate) and R because this was ROMANCE at its finest. I fell in love with the synopsis when it was initially shared and consider myself extremely lucky to have received an arc from the author to read and review this first book in a new series. There's always so much hype surrounding a new Katy Evans book and they never fail to live up to that hype. Mr President had me gripped in its hooks from the word go and it didn't let go until the very last page was turned. Matthew effing Hamilton is the independent candidate for presidency and recruits Charlotte, a girl he's known since she was a child but hasn't seen in years, to become his scheduler. You just know from the moment they meet again as adults that theirs would be a romance that transcends time and bends the rules and absolutely takes your breath away. They are "a perfect couple, in the most imperfect situation." Matthew hasn't always wanted to run for presidency but feels that all his father worked for when he was president and prior to his assassination will be for naught if he doesn't. And Charlotte, as the daughter of a senator, has never wanted to have much to do with politics or politicians. They both know that their relationship has an expiration date but can't seem to stop the attraction from building and consuming them. I adored both of these characters. Matthew was just divine - he is passionate about everything; about Charlotte, his campaign, his country and he gives it his all. And Charlotte is amazing in her own right. Knowing what would eventuate, she still gave as much as she could and was committed to the campaign. I loved the sweetness, the forbidden, the sheer romance of it all. The heat and passion was heating up my ereader and I simply did not want this book to end. I love Evans' writing style. It's consuming, it's beautiful, and it's magic on paper. You can feel the passion just from her words - whether it be innocent kisses, forbidden touches, or the sexy times, it's all done with utter perfection. Love it. Finally, I'll just say that if this was an actual campaign and Matt was up for presidency, I would be moving to the US just to vote for him but as it is, Evans gets my vote for an outstanding five star read. Fantastic. I could not put this book down! Loved everything about it and cannot wait for the next one..

Really good. I loved the theme of politics in this book and the forbidden romance, but sometimes it felt too disjointed, like the authors brain moved faster than her fingers during writing. I had to go back and re-read sentences because some things didn't make sense. That being said, I'm hanging out excitedly for Commander in Chief and to see where Matt and Charlotte take their romance.

Wow. Absolutely loved it as I have all Katy's books.

Mr. President. The book revved up much like the relationship between Matthew & Charlotte. I thought that the book would not captivate me but Katy proved that to be wrong. I actually felt like I was Charlotte and at other times I could totally become Matt. It all seemed so simple, too simple to be a captivating story but it grabs hold and you will be hard pressed to stop turning the pages. She is young but many couples have age gaps so its believable...almost like he is her Svengali. Panty-melting sex, conflict with underlying hidden love. Katy develops the characters and their co-characters to a necessary depth which makes it easy to attach to them and feel the turmoil they are going through. Cannot wait for Book 2... Would have liked it for Christmas!! Maybe if we are good Katy will share a scene from Commander in Chief!!

This autnor never disappoints!. Katy Evans got me like.... WHOA! And here's another WHOA for that cliff-hanger I didn't see coming! How did I not know this was a 2 book series? I could sense it coming at about 85%. But hooray because....more words and more feels! That was some seriously sexy, romantic and swoon worthy stuff! I must admit I have read very few political romances. But whatever Katy Evans writes, I'm all for reading because she has never led me wrong. And Mr. President was no exception. Matt and Charlotte struggle with their undeniable and magnetic chemistry amidst Matt's intense electoral campaign for President. Is there anything more Alpha than a sexy and irresistible man who wants to run a country? I think not! As you can imagine, there is a lot at stake for Matt. There are a couple elements of the forbidden here, but not in a dirty kind of way. Matt needs to avoid the scandal that would come if his relationship was exposed during his campaign, and well.....he's like 13 years older than her. Throw in an unsolved mystery, and what more could you ask for? This book has it all! Heat, feels, intrigue and anticipation. Can't wait for Commander In Chief!
