Good. It was so good but the end felt rushed

Boring. Very slow…. The characters drag on. I do not know if I can finish it. Adeline is one of the most immature characters I ever read….. continue reading at your own risk.

Sweet, clean fun.. 4 stars

Fun read. We love smart women! This story involved a lot of things I liked and I could not put it down. Both leads are great and the banter?! *chef kiss*

Theodora. Interesting read . Different characters- some real characters!! Never knew what would happen next. Challenges of women dealt with in that era. Keep you coming back to see what happened next.

Theodora. Loved the entire book. It held me and called to me when ever I had a free moment. The story line was unique and I really got into the characters and how different they were yet they connected. An excellent read.

Solid like.. This was a solid like for me. For being so long, I found the character and plot development lacking. It was rather one note. There were also timeline issues. Like it’s April. Has the season really not started? There was no real explanation on the aging viscount and when he had all his kids and how old the viscountess is by comparison. And there was not mention of Theo’s story from Cart’s novel. I could be wrong, but I remember it being kind of a big deal. Also, why did the French cartographer have an Italian name. We just needed explanations. Idk. I did enjoy it overall. It’s a solid late regency read. Certainly not the worst of I’ve read. But it won’t go down as a favorite either.

Sad people. Everyone in this book is sad. It makes the story depressing.

Great Series Start!. Theodora was a great start to a promising series. She's smart, witty, down to earth, talented, and faithful. Never did I see all those twists coming! Every time she held her breath I did the same until it was over, as if I were standing with her!!! Can't wait to read the rest of the series!!!

Theodora. If looking for a book with strong female characters, this is certainly one to happily oblige. Luckily, it has an entertaining story to go hand in hand with that.

Archery and Maps. Lady Theodora has two passions in her life, archery, a sport she enjoys with her three former school-friends and map making. Her brother unusually for the time, is supportive of her academic achievements, even going so far as to sponsor her in addressing gatherings at the British Museum. She has no intention of clandestinely taking part in an archery competition (regardless of the fact that the prize money would help with repairs at her beloved school) as the finals clash with her important meeting with the French mapmaker Cassini. However, plans change..... I really enjoyed this story and hope I have the opportunity to read about Adeline, Josie and Georgie finding their love matches. I would have given this 5* if it were not for some historical inaccuracies. I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. Highly entertaining. Loved this story.

Enjoyable read. Lovely book and fast storyline. However better editing is needed to keep the book flowing as quite a few spelling and grammar errors as well as wrong words used or out of order. But otherwise an easy read to relax into
