not the best of the series. This is one of the stories I enjoyed the least of the whole series. I thought that with Daniel being gone for most of the book, we really missed out on a lot, romance wise. I think the story would have been more enjoyable if maybe it was either focused on two brothers fighting for the girl OR on the guy who has to leave his girlfriend for the army. One or the other. I also think that in a a way (for the purpose of entertainment reading) Amy had it a little too “easy” when leaving her parents household. She just went to live with her best friend and everything was fine. Overall, if I think you can just skip this book entirely in the series and just move on to the next.

Somethings missing. Didn’t enjoy this book as much too many questions without answers or resolutions so I couldn’t understand why it was even necessary to raise them in the book

Sweet as!. Lovely story and characters were just beautifully portrayed. The ending was a bit of a letdown for me - it wish it ended on a much stronger note.

Love this authors style. Each book written by this Maree is different and they never follow the direction I think they will. Her ability to make me love the characters and want to know there stories is the sign of such great writing. This book takes you into a world that few get to feel the pain of military life. To understand judgment is just another form of abuse. Staying true to true love will set you free every time. The book left we wanting more stories from so many side characters that I hope your love of writing never dies Maree. Thank you for finishing another great story.
