What she inherited. I felt drawn in by the stories of each character. The death of the trials CJ faces as a young child and fighting her demons as an adult to remain a special dynamic woman . I feel Rosetta the matriarch was a sweet loving gutsy woman owning her mistakes an still a rock n her small family . The men ere of a rare breed of good guys with respect for their ladies, caring and compassionate “hunks”” . I’d love to read a sequel! Ldz.

Enjoyed every page. Loved the story, just wish the story continued a little longer.

What she Inherits. While I am not usually a ghost story enthusiast I started reading this book and by the time I figured out it was "haunted" I was so intrigued that I couldn't put it down. The book has two completely different storylines presented in alternating chapters. My greatest criticism is that it was hard to switch back and forth between the storylines when the plot thickened and things got intense. I ended up reading just one storyline at a time by Skipping the other chapters!

Emotionally stimulating. Fabulous! This book really made you think and feel all the emotions the characters were feeling. DIane Mulligan writing has made me seek our her other books. How all the lives of her character were enter woven was brilliant. Even after I figured out what was coming I could not put the book down until it was read. Great book.

Fast read. Once I started this book, I read it in a day! I love how the chapters go from one character’s story to the other’s. I thought I had it all figured out, and then was surprised that I hadn’t. The author takes you on an adventure and makes the characters people you root for, and invest in. Overall, a fun read with lots of twists and turns to the very end.

Lots of surprises!. The beginning of this book dragged for me. It didn’t make sense and was jumping back and forth from Maine to South Carolina. Eventually it all became clear. Then I was satisfied completely!
