Another sweet Marietta, Montana romance. Enjoyed this sweet romance. Tyler and Stacey make a great couple.

Working through it. In the process of reading. Using the word stove instead of oven (and so far a lot) is annoying. Also stating that something smells gorgeous is distracting (not in a good way). Trying to get through it. I have not counted this out just yet. But I would be happy if some of the obvious things were updated. Update- finally got through it. It was okay, not the worst I’ve read. Tyler’s character was nice, really too perfect but this is fiction and meant to be an escape from reality.

A spoonful of sugar. By kate hardy A very cute romance! Bookbub

Sweet & Heartwarming Romance. A Spoonful of Sugar by Kate Hardy is book number two in the Bachelor Bake-Off series. This is Tyler Carter and Stacey Allman's story. Tyler's employees sign him up for the Bachelor Bake Off contest. He has a major problem. Tyler cannot cook. Stacey is Tyler's neighbor and she ends up volunteering to help teach him how to cook. They end up spending a lot of time together. So, are they just friends or is it more. Then Tyler's ex shows back up. I really enjoyed Tyler and Stacey's characters and how they interacted with each other. This is a great addition to the Bachelor Bake-Off series. These are sweet and heartwarming stories. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Excellent. Fun, cute read that just made me smile. Loved these characters and the simple sweet story was just what I needed for a relaxing afternoon read. Tyler Carter doesn't know the first thing about baking. So when his employees sign him up for the town charity bake-off he knows he needs to find help. Luckily help finds him in the form of his very pretty, very sexy neighbor, Stacey Allman. When she comes to his rescue after he sets off his smoke alarm he makes a deal with her. Training at his gym in exchange for baking lessons. And hey, if they have to spend quite a bit of time together, well he's ok with that! I definitely recommend this one.

A Page Turner!!. There are so many items I enjoy about A Spoonful of Sugar, where do I start: 1) How Stacey took her coffee with a spoonful of sugar 2) How Tyler couldn't bake for the life of him and his place in the bake off was a total surprise at the end, but made the story better 3) How Kate and Tyler were able to compare teaching and personal trainer to each other and the relations to students/athletic's 4) How Tyler was able to demonstration how being active is for everyone, you just need to find your niche and the right teacher.... 5) I could go on and on but don't want to ruin the story... you are sure to enjoy A Spoonful of Sugar!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Loved it. Tyler Carter has been entered into the Marietta Bachelor Bake-off by his team. Tyler who once set off the fire alarm trying to make a grilled cheese is not looking forward to it. After setting off the smoke alarm in his apartment while practicing with baking a cake he meets his neighbor Stacey Allman. When Stacey offers to help Tyler learn to bake he happily agrees. When there lessons become about more than baking feelings start to develop. Will the two be able to take a leap of faith for one another?

A Guide for Backbone and Baking Skills. A delightful quick read as a bachelor with zero cooking/baking skills is entered into a baking contest and meets his neighbor, who has her own demons dealing with her strict father’s standards. A sweet story!

Cover. I haven’t read it yet, but the dude on the cover does NOT look like he works at a gym.

A Spoonful of Sugar. A

A Fun Sweet Romance. Another great additions to the Bachelor Bake-Off stories. A sweet story between Tyler and Stacey. Stacey has very low self esteem and her neighbor, Tyler needs a few baking lessons. What starts out as a friendship develops into much more. Loved how their friendship develops throughout the story. Tyler helping Stacey overcome her low self esteem as he gets his cooking lessons. Great character development, I too fell in love with Tyler. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of the Bachelor Bake-Off. These can be read as stand alone books.

Overcoming Challenges. I thoroughly enjoyed reading A Spoonful of Sugar by Kate Hardy, the second entry in the Bachelor Bake-Off series. This is wonderful collaboration by Tule authors has the Bachelor Bake-Off as a fund raiser for the town to buy a rundown house in Marietta and refurbish in the memory of firefighter Harry Morgan as a teen center. Each of the bachelors entered into this “contest” are not cooks. In this story, Tyler Carter, owner of Carter’s Gym, is entered into the contest by his employees and clients, who know he can’t boil water without setting off the smoke alarm. While practicing in his apartment and setting of said alarm, his next door neighbor, Stacey Allman, comes to see if he needs help. Stacey is a teacher for students with special needs and takes pity on Tyler and offers to tutor him in the fine art of baking. Stacey has her own difficulties being hard of hearing and stuttering. In exchange for baking lessons Tyler teaches Stacey to be stronger and more confident through boxing and other sports oriented activities. As these two become friends and hang out together they discover the chemistry and attraction between them. Soon these friends become lovers as they support each other through their own challenges. This was a sweet, fun and entertaining story with very likeable and authentic characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written with complex characteristics. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I am truly looking forward to the next entry in the Bachelor Bake-Off series. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Spoonful of Sugar. This was a very sweet story (no pun intended). Stacey is a teacher who has very low self esteem thanks to her father, but is a very sweet and caring person. Her neighbor, Tyler, has zero skills in the kitchen - but he does have a well exercised smoke alarm. I loved all of the characters in this story. I really enjoyed how Tyler and Stacey worked together not only on trying to improve his baking skills, but also their partnership to try to help special needs or struggling kids and teens improve themselves and their lives. I loved every minute of this story and didn't want it to end. I'm really going to miss these characters.

A spoonful of sugar. Small town romance at its best. All the locals and their fundraising for good causes is charming. A newcomer who agrees to help a bachelor participate in a cooking contrast finds the courage to enter a relationship. This is a celebration of overcoming childhood psychological abuse

Couldn’t finish it. It’s very slow and boring couldn’t keep reading. Really bothered me when author called the oven the stove... like do you even bake?!
