Wow. What a read!. It was a great Book seeing a girl who has been on her own, and caring for herself be thrust into this new world. A world happy people a family who doesn't want to know her and doesn't want too. Then to find out a guy she kissed at a diner with the best pie become her next door neighbor and teacher. It was a delight to read and it was happy and sad to see how Blair evolved it was great.

I laughed, I cried and I already want to reread it! Jessica Roe is gifted and I'm now searching out her books. Take the time and the money to explore this series. It is worth it!

Wow. I could not stop crying! My new favorite book and author.

Characters for which you will feel. I fell in love with these two! I have giggled, cried, ground my teeth.... all for this story. This is an easy read, not too easy to predict, that pulls you in very quickly.

Such an emotion story!. Because Of Him by Jessica Roe was such an emotion and beautiful story! At the climax of the story I was crying nonstop! It's one of my favorite books now!

Because of Him. I absolutely loved this book! It has been a real long while since I have read a book that I have enjoyed as much as this one. I found myself smiling through most of it and having tears at other parts. I also loved Silver. He is my new favorite. Granny Yo, though, had to be one of my favorites, if not my favorite character in the book. She was the total opposite of what I expected from her.

Great story and characters. Pros This was really awesome story with well developed characters and lots of twists and turns in the story. Was compelling all the way through and I became invested in Blair and her path. Cons Lots of typos and grammar mistakes.

I read the entire thing in one night with out a break it was so good, but I definitely was a little more tired then normal in the morning. It made me laugh, cry, angry, and very happy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good story, however there are many grammatical errors.

Must read- so engaging.. I purchased this book with the intention of reading a little bit each night before bed. Instead I was so engaged that I stayed up until 330 in the morning to read the entire book. This decision was not made lightly as a mother of four children. However it was totally worth it I was super engaged and very interested in what was to come off and kept me on the edge of my seat!definitely worth the read!!!

Blair is sassy, stubborn and true to herself, and a great heroine. Reason for 4 stars was due to the amount of grammar/spelling/punctuation errors throughout. Super noticeable and sometimes distracting from the story.

Emotions. I’m not one to sit and read a book from end to end in just one day, but with this book I just couldn’t stop reading! Throughout the entire book I felt the emotions of the characters and as if I was there with them the entire time. I will definitely be reading more by this author!

I cried...so much. I just felt every bit of pain and cried. The characters are flawed and beautiful and real. I am definitely a Jessica Roe fan now. When you find a book you can't put down, it's a rare treat.

Wow!!!. I usually never leave reviews but when you read a book that can make you feel all kinds of different emotions, you just have to let others know. I would be laying there crying my eyes out, falling in love with Silver, getting mad at Silver and some other characters and feeling happy when everything finally fell into place. The author really knew how to draw her audience in with the storyline. It didn't drag on and I had to know what would happen next. You can relate to the characters and what they were going through. This book is a great read and I can't wait to read the whole collection.

SweetKnight. “Because of Him” by Jessica Roe is a sweet romance story. There are a couple grammatical errors but they don't interfere with you understanding and the story makes you willing to overlook them. I bought it on iBooks store. Despite the plot being a bit cliche and the whole "teacher-student-romance" thing being a bit weird in theory, Roe manages to write an engaging and interesting book. Definitely worth reading!

Sweet Romance. This is an endearing story that was enjoyable to read. It was sweet to follow Blair and Silver on the path towards each other. Very easy to read, I look forward to reading the entire series!

✨❤️😍❤️✨. "Because of Him" is an excellent read. I couldn't put it down. I stayed up fighting my eyes at 3 am to just finish this book. I was captivated. I am a hopeless romantic and watch a lot of romance movies and read a lot of romance books but "Because of Him" is one of the best romance books I've ever read. I literally felt emotional in some scenes as that's how connected I felt to the story. It exceeded my expectations above and beyond. I wasn't expecting to adore this book as much as I do. I love how it's not vulgar but raw and suspenseful and entertaining. Highly recommended.

Personal and Emotional. I haven't felt this close to the characters in a book for a long while. I got pulled in quickly to the story and found myself heartbroken for Blair and her struggle to break through the stigma she came with. Silver was adorable and totally kissable.

Spectacular. This is not your average star-crossed lovers book. It's a whole lot more than that. We've all seen the clichéd badass guy gets the sweet but sexy girl. Now reverse their positions, add some seriously hot scenes, great and likeable side characters, feelings varying from grief to joy to anger, and a sweet dose of humour, because this author doesn't follow the same path the others all seem to. Because of Him is a must read for anyone who loves a good romance novel.

Great!. This was a sweet YA story. The slow burn never really followed thru at the end. Teaser for sure but nonetheless I truly enjoyed it. Not your typical teacher/student plot. Great characters and a very entertaining read.

Brilliant!. Normally, I’m not a big fan of New Adult romances, but I found Blair completely entertaining with her combative nature and her silly arguments with everyone. I couldn’t help but chuckle each time. It’s amazingly delightful how Blair manages so easily to engage Silver in being immaturely argumentative. I can’t help but feel so sad for Blair and Silver and their impossible relationship. I can also sympathize how difficult it is for Felicia, Oliver and their kids when Blair comes to live with them. The author describes beautifully how wonderful and priceless non-judgement is, especially when it seems undeserved. Bravo! Loved this book. Will definitely check out Jessica Roe’s other books.
