Challenging.. Having been a fan of the BBC series “Vera” for a number of years, I find the novels to be well-written but cumbersome in their character depictions.
Disappointing. This is the second book I have read by this author. It seems wordy, too many characters that aren’t particularly well developed, and lots of build up with a disappointing ending. I did, however, really like “The Darkest Evening”.
