Loved Nikan!! 5 stars!!!. I love a good second chance romance and Scarlett Cole delivers with Nikan! I have been anxiously anticipating his story ever since she introduced the band in her other series. I mean a hot, sexy Rockstar, what's not to love! Nikan and Jenny meet as kids in foster care and fall in love. Unfortunately it is not a fairytale ending because love isn't always enough. My heart broke for both Nikan and Jenny, their story back to each other is not easy. Nikan has a lot of demons to deal with and he handled it badly. Jenny is a strong independent woman and I love how she doesn't make excuses for Nikan. Ms. Cole weaves an emotional story that made me cry and swoon and laugh. And of course her sexy times are HOT! Her secondary characters and the relationships between the guys in Preload just add to this incredible book. What a heartfelt journey of redemption, forgiveness and second chances. Another beautiful story from Scarlett Cole.

4 Stars!. Nikan Rebuilt is the perfect title for this story. We got to see Nikan basically stripped down and built back up. Nikan and Jenny met when they were kids, both struggling with traumatic pasts. They’ve been through many of their first experiences together. When Nikan’s band finally gets noticed and they go on their first tour, he did the unthinkable. When Jenny finds out, she left and never looked back. Eight years later, Jenny moves back to town and takes a temp job at the group home Nikan came from. She knew their was a chance she would run into him again but it was still a shock when he shows up at the home with one of the boys. Nikan has never been able to get over Jenny. When he sees her again, he’s determined to win her back no matter what he has to do. This is probably one of the best grovel books I’ve read. First, let me just say that I detest cheating in romance books. I struggled with what Nikan did to Jenny. I struggled because the author did such a good job of showing the man Nikan became. How much he grew and how much he regretted what he did. And most importantly, how much he truly loves Jenny. It’s rare for me to give a book with cheating a chance. The fact that the author could have me fall for Nikan despite it and root for him is pretty amazing. And these boys in the group home just melts my heart! I love that they’ve been a big part of this series. I’m looking forward to Lennon’s story. Arc provided by NetGalley.

Awesome. I honestly could gush for days about how fantastic I think this book and series are. All I will add is that if you haven't started reading every Scarlett Cole book yet....get to it. You will be so happy you did. Since first discovering her I have anxiously awaited every new release and Nikan's story is the latest. All these characters are beautifully flawed and their stories will rip all the emotions straight from your heart. Nikan and Jenny are so accepting of one another and their story is beautiful even with their struggles. This one should top everyone's must read list! I highly recommend it.

4 1/2 Stars! Another great book in this series.. Nik has always been the leader and caretaker of his “brothers” from the group home they spent their teenage years at and that hasn’t changed years after they formed the famous metal band “Preload”. But 23 year old Nik screwed up big time when the band went out on their first tour when he cheated on his long time girlfriend Jenny. By the time he got home, Jenny had vanished from his life. 8 years later she’s back temporarily running the group home the boys grew up in and still help out at. Nik will do anything he can to convince Jenny that he is a changed man and he would never repeat his big mistake. But Jenny doesn’t know if she will ever be able to trust him again even though she still has strong feelings for him. This is a great addition to this series. I like how Jenny is her own person and just doesn’t fall back into Nik’s arms because he’s rich and famous now. And I liked how Nik didn’t waiver and he jumped through every hoop Jenny placed in his way. I can’t wait for Lennon’s book coming in March. Scarlett Cole is going to kill me with her swoony leading men!. I swear Scarlett Cole is going to literally kill me one of these days. How she can pull you into her character's fictional world, and make you believe it's real? It's unbelievable. And yet she manages to do it. Every. Single. Time. I'll be honest, I went into this a little wary simply because I knew going in it was a second chance romance. And usually as the norm goes with that trope, the hero for the most part manages to screw up a good thing. And Nikan is no exception. Does he make a huge mistake, one so big it destroyed the woman he loves? Absolutely! Big time! But silly me, I should've known that Scarlett wouldn't let me down. This story is about a second chance at true love. Of Atonement. And of coming to terms with the reality that is Nikan's life. One that really isn't his own. One that he lives for the people he loves. Mad love for this story, and this series! And I can't wait until Lennon's book releases.
