Breaking Gravity by Mitty Walters. It is about a college guy who stumbles onto a force new to physics, and his friends and their flight from and battles with huge corporations who want his discovery. Well written. A thoroughly fun read with several scenes you can’t put down. I finished it at 3 am. I will look for more by Mr Walters.

Super fun book. So enjoyable to read. Well-written book with substance.

Loved It. Writing reviews isn’t something I do, but when I got to the end of Breaking Gravity there was no doubt in my mind that this book deserves a 5 star review, so here I am writing it. This story addresses the question: ‘how would the world react to a truly groundbreaking discovery’, and takes you on quite a ride while doing it. The book isn’t long, so there isn’t much time for character development, but it makes up for that with a great story. I picked this book up during my lunch hour, and that was a mistake—I didn’t get any more work done until I put it down two hours later after reading the last page (it’s 400(ish) pages, I’m just a quick reader). If your looking for a good book, look no further.

Fun!. Exciting, clever, and suspenseful. I was easily hooked early into it. I love how interactive the author is as well. From the recommended playlist to the... well, you’ll see.... he really puts you in the story.

Whoaaa Nellie!!!. Wow… Just finished the ride. And it was a wild and wooly one! The end came to a screeching halt…but in a kewl way. This book kept me excited to read every new paragraph and page. So much about how the media and government can and will twist the truth so much that it looks like balled up aluminum foil, with no hope of being straightened out and seeing it how it really was. Keep up the good work, MW.

The characters are well fleashed out and there is as much about their back stories that is untold as there is explained which adds to the realism. The grit and fear of the unknown threats comes through the ink on the pages and leaves you rooting for the hero. The book begs for a part two and three and.... Great job!

Lifting Story. Compelling and intriguing concept, change is ugly at this and disrupters often come to a bad end, anyone remember Lord Diesel and his mysterious demise? Gave this book a shot and now I look forward to where this goes. The powers that be don’t like to give away any power and will go to extremes to keep the status quo. Luck, ingenuity and friends make this a good read!

Amazing!. This book is unlike most other sci-fi books that I’ve read. It made me believe!!

Not what I expected. I will be honest, I had low expectations going into this book. I do not read much fiction, and when I do it is more about wizards, dragons, and tiny people doing amazing things. However, Breaking Gravity satisfies that need for the whimsical while keeping it just believable enough to not ruin the illusion. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to Breaking Destiny and whatever else Mitty comes up with. Tldr; Cool story bro.

Awesome imagination. Fierce action with a side note of nerd

Grit. There is a lot to read out there and to each his/her own. This tale has a bit of grit, real emotion and turn of events. Not all tales run that way. If you like heroes with flaws...or villains with hero sprinkles and a bit of fantasy merged lightly with how things could actually be then, perhaps this book is for you. Will not be a waste of your time and will be over before you are ready. Regards and good reading.

Breaking Gravity. What would happen if you made a world changing discovery and you found out that the world, or at least parts of it, didn’t want to change? Nicely written thought story, one editing flaw is that soda cans used at the first were referenced as paint cans at the end.

Breaking Gravity. Great read. Fast paced. Did not like all the cursing. Probably will not buy another because of the language. The book would've been great without the bad language.

Good story but. I would have given it a better rating except for the swearing which was totally unnecessary. Clean up the language and I would give it a 4.

Much Fun with Science in the Mix. Breaking Gravity is a very clever story that mixes science with fun. It's mostly fun, but you get a bit of physics and engineering in it. A college kid at Emory accidentally discovers a new physical force. Next thing you know, corporations, governments and scientist want to capture or kill him. It's fast paced with great characters. I look forward to the sequel.

Breaking Gravity. I found this book very interesting and quick to get my attention. Once into the story, I was able to figure out what was coming in general but it still had twists and turns. I am a slow reading adult who enjoys history and science so this was right up my alley. That being said, some of the science can be a bit heavy in areas but if you keep with the book it will be explained in more general terms later on in the book. I also read every word so I found a few errors but only in the fact that two words were out of order or copies of words happened, ex: any any, but this did not take away my ability to enjoy this book. I am looking forward to the next one and hope Mr. Walters continues writing.

Breaking Gravity. Best book I have read in ages!!!!! Author captures your imagination from the beginning and holds you to the very last word with total belief in the reality of what has occurred in the intervening pages. Or I am very gullible and naive.... take your pick... but read it yourself and then decide. Kudos to Mr. Walters!

Great story line. Enjoyed the whole thing , DAVID V Goliath , tech discovery , and the mobster / bad guys / govt thing . If only it was for real .... there are a million applications that would change life for ever. Gravity is a weird thing .... we know next to nothing about it . I’m buying shares in Aluminium foil just in case ..... lol

Breaking Gravity. I have never left a review before but since you asked so nicely, l will do this. I started this book and wondered what this was all about. I download lots of books from Bookbub, read one and most times, with a few exceptions, just go on to something else. This one piqued my curiousity ( I’m Canadian, thus the spelling) and l finished the book in record time. I enjoyed the plot, the characters but got a little lost trying to work out who were the good guys and who were the bad guys but l think that was intentional by the author. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read and wouldn’t it nice if energy was so easily accessible. All the arguments presented seemed valid and completely understandable and l only wish l could still be around to see some of the things mentioned become reality in years to come. I might even buy the next book.

A fine read with a dose of sci fi and a dollop of adventure. Well written with a sound plot and great pacing. Characters are well developed and act within their characters. Overall an enjoyable and quick read.

Unexpected gem. Enjoyed it.. I like taking a chance on authors I’m unfamiliar with. The premise: a university student who accidentally discovers antigravity ends up stirring up powerful clandestine forces who want him and anyone connected (or witness) to the discovery, dead. Right from the start I was hooked. It was very fast paced adventure. I loved it. Some of the characters could’ve used some extra development, but overall this did not take away from my enjoyment of the story, it simply left me wanting more. When I was younger, I used to try to imagine all the implications of developing antigravity technology. This story so reminded me of those imaginings. Overall, a fast page turner. I recommend it.
