I loved this book so much!. Misadventures of a Good Wife was an exceptionally written, unputdownable read that consumed me from start to finish. With its perfect blend of steamy and passionate fire, a love that was so heartfelt and all-feeling, with the best amount of mystery and suspense thrown in, this book delivered it all. It wowed me, it shocked me, it made me blush something fierce, and through every page of what I read I felt the love between these two characters with all that I had! Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt did the most phenomenal job of creating a story that I could get lost in, creating a story that allowed me to feel it all, and creating a story and two characters that immediately stole my heart with all that they had. The events of this book follow Kate Price as her entire world is upside down. You see a year ago her husband was killed in a plane crash, and she's pretty much been wasting away ever since. She misses her husband dearly and has lost so much of herself, so her sister law convinces her that they need a vacation. An escape, a warm ocean breeze and some fun is what they need, so Kate's sister in law sweeps them away to paradise. But what Kate soon finds on her island getaway is more than she ever bargained for....her husband is alive! While he may be alive, the shocks keep coming, and soon Kate must decide is she has what it takes to stick by his side as the two of them fight for their love, their future, and to stay alive. Told with the best level of mystery and suspense, passion and fire, and so much connection, this story gives you Price and Kate's story of reconnection, second chances, and of course, love. I loved every part of this story. I loved that I felt so much for these characters right from the start. I felt for Kate and her struggle to make sense of what was going on, what she should do, and what it would all mean. I felt for Price and the weight he had on his shoulders, the struggle he felt at putting the love of his life at risk, and for all that he had been through. I loved how strong they both were, how vulnerable they were in the same breath, and how they shared such a true and fiery connection that I felt every ounce of. I can't say enough how real and authentic Helen Hardt and Meredith Wild made the love and passion between Kate and Price. They made it tangible, they made it so achingly real, and they made it something I could not get enough of. What I got with Kate and Price as this story continued was something I won't soon forget. It was something that made me blush, something that stole my breath so many times, and something that felt so beyond right. The way these authors let you experience every part of their love, their fight for the future, and their fight to be together will sear you to them in every way possible, and will have you on the edge of your seat ready to see where it all takes them. I seriously can't recommend this book enough! It was exceptionally written, it had two phenomenal characters that stole my heart from the very first page, and this story had a consuming fire to it that I loved every word of! Helen Hardt and Meredith Wild allowed me to breathe and live and love every word of this book with Kate and Price, delivering a fulfilling story of mystery, passion, steam, fire, and a love you'll never forget. The Misadventures Series promises quick, fulfilling, and steamy reads that give you the story, the sexy times, and the characters you won't soon forget. Misadventures of a Good Wife delivered on all of that and more, and I loved it! I could not put this book down, and I am telling you, if you are looking for a quick and completely satisfying read that will give you it all and then some, then run yourself to this read this very second!!!

Misadventures of a good wife. This book gives you a perfect blend of love romance sex suspense and mystery. A very quick read that is incredibly hard to put down because you want to know what’s going to happen next and excellent addition to the series of the “misadventures”

Non-adventure. I've loved all of them up til now. I'm not sure if it was just so far fetched that I couldn't get into it or what was wrong with this one. Took me more than twice as long to read and even the steamy parts just weren't doing it for me. Definitely makes me leary of the next one.

Misleading Summary. Nice effort by the author but this book was 85% sex and 15% plot. And whatever attempt at a plot was so predictable I kept rolling my eyes. On the plus side, there were no grammatical errors.

4 Stars!. Kate thought her husband died in a plane crash only to find out a year later that he's still alive. Price stayed away for a year to protect Kate but he can't stay away any longer. The question is, will she forgive him and disappear with him, because the threat is still very much real. I was surprised by this book. From the title I thought this would be a lighter story about a housewife getting into mischief. Instead these two authors brought us a fun thriller. There is a lot of "making up for lost time" sex in this book but I loved that Price couldn't get enough of his wife. You could see how much these two truly loved each other. I'm looking forward to the next Misadventures book. Who knows what we might get. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Very disappointed. I’ve read all of these stories up to this point and enjoyed them all. This one was terrible. Like someone else said 85% sex and 15% story. Even the sex scenes were the same every time and they didn’t make up for the lacking story.

Good book. Another misadventure that is good This was an amazing read and I could not put it down. There was love, sex, and suspense, three things that make a great book. Price and Kate are great together. I couldn’t wait to unravel what was going on with Price and why he would fake his death and stay away for a year. Would Kate take Price back, what would happen with everyone else in their family. Would they be safe. There is adventure, love and intrigue. I didn’t want to put this book down. Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt have made a great addition to this series of misadventures.

Smoking!. Holy nuts! Yes, it was that kind of a book. What else would you get when you put Meredith and Helen on the same story.... good Lord the steam and the twisted story was most wicked. I have to keep the review brief because there is too much to give away here. Kate lost in her grief gets roped into going on a vacation by her late husbands sister. They arrive on a secluded tropical island and Kate is really not into it, she's miserable; still stuck in her grief, she's just doing it in a different setting. That is until her dead husband appears. And this is where the story twists and turns and holy nuts your head will spin. You'll need ice and a fan too to cool off from the steam factor here. Good grief this book even smelled like sex. Helen and Meredith are a wicked naughty combination. They'll lead you through this tale as you discover Price's story and the danger they now face. Must read!!. This book was a page turner. Price and Kate belong together even when Price was keeping information from Kate their love and chemistry flew off the page. Action and steamy sex what more could you ask for. Great read!!!

Book 2 stand alone. Nice twist, good story

Truly captivating.. uch an amazing story. I was instantly sucked in. The love between price and kate is truly amazing and strong. It gives you something to strive for. Everything that they went through and they still never lost their love for one another. Its truly amazing what the authors did with this book. The ups and downs the ins and outs all the emption this book gives you! Its a rollercoaster of emotions that i will go on time and time again.

Loved it. One of the best adventure books that I’ve read. Love all of the suspense and romance. It keeps you on the edge of the time yet it keeps you excited also.

Fantastic Addition. 5 Star review of a Misadventures of a Good Wife by Meredith Wild & Helen Hardt (Misadventures #2) This was a great addition to the Misadventures series. How complicated can love be? In the case of Kate and Price Lewis the answer is extremely. This book had it all, a second chance at love, drama, passion, suspense, danger and above all a deep, never ending love of family and the lengths that a man will go to to keep them protected and safe. The chemistry and love between Kate and Price was overwhelming. The twists and turns were an added bonus as the suspense and danger built and ensured that I was kept on the edge of my seat as I devoured Misadventures of a Good Wife. I have no idea where one author finished and the other started, the flow was seamless and riveting to say the least. This is a book that will grab and keep your attention from start to finish and I highly recommend it The Misadventures Series is written by so many different and wildly talented authors and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
