Hope. I understand now why God told me to pick up this book, at this time and season. I’ve seen it before; but the time was right to read it now. I was reminded through this read, though I enjoy the work that I’m doing right now to pay bills, my heart turns to/long for my dream in music and entertainment. Excellent. Amazing great read

Inspiring Read!!!!. I gave it 4 stars because everything can always be better but Tyler Perry did an exceptional job with this book!!! It’s soo relatable.. It’s personal and even though it was his life that he wrote about, my story jumped off each page.. I felt like he oversaw my life and wrote it as his own.. so many lessons.. so thorough and diligent.. so inspiring.. AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!!

Good read. Higher is Waiting is Tyler Perry's combination autobiography / inspirational book od meditations. He touches on relationships with family, friends and God, as he applies spiritual principles to everyday lives. I have long known that he is a kind humanitarian and an entertainment visionary. Now I understand how he came to be that way.

You’ve helped me tremendously during a difficult period of loss and given me an ‘aha’ moment to fulfill my inner calling. You are a gift from God to us all. Thank you.

Great read. This book was very inspiring. I loved every bit of it.

Trying to Climb. Tyler Perry’s storytelling technique always reflects a deep understanding of life far beyond his years. So his advice really centered in my life. As an aspiring writer, I’m desperately trying not to give up sharing my love of storytelling. I only hope that my novels will move audiences like he has.

Lovely coming from a great one. This book a wonderfully put together. I love the stories and analogies that made this book an easy read( didn’t have to look up too many words! Haha). Anywho, I give this book 5 stars because this made me want to believe in myself wayyyyy more than I originally have, not to mention lots of self discoveries and epiphanies! I encourage everybody to read this one!

Wow... just wow.. I’m not a non-fiction reader but I’ve been in a place where I have been challenged to read only non-fiction. At first I tried to read books to motivate me or books that informed me but nothing left an impression on me. That was until I came upon this book. I would read and read and read until I had to make myself put the “book” (my phone) down. I would be in the mist of my day and think of this book. Never have I ever had a book consume me as much as this and for that I am grateful. This book has opened my eyes and has inspired me to continue to move day by day and step by small step to follow my dream and push to a higher for myself and my love ones. I definitely recommend this book if you need a moment to slow down and realize where you’re at and where you should be headed. Thank you Tyler for this amazing read.

A disappointment. I expected a autobiography & got a self help book. Not an exciting read.

Awesome!. This book was a great read! It’s filled with aphorisms, Bible passages and a lot of hope. It should be mandatory for teens, young adults and the old.

A good read. Practical life lessons are shared that either relate to or can be done by anyone. The book makes you examine your life and how you can become a better person and citizen ultimately causing you to reach your destiny. It’s not about how to get rich but strategies and qualities that successful people use or have. I would recommend this book for a book club.
