The Abalone Shell. This book was beautiful and real! I felt the pain it conjured as I read the details of the lives you presented. I actually felt my heart clench as if it were happening to me and that rarely if ever happens when I read. I read 1-2 books per day usually and have for years so it is a treat to read a book that moves me as this one has. Thank you for the experience!

The perfect Beach read.. Love this story and all the life inside. The way Suzie O'Connell uses the location as a character in her stories is amazing. It makes you want to see and live in this town.

This is a lovely read, it makes the reader really feel the emotions of the story and one can almost hear the rush of the tides and feel the sand in your toes, this reminded me a little of Cornwall England as it has lovely coves and beaches and lovely galleries selling art and crafts made by local artists and materials I love the British coastlines one can find different things in different places but that feeling you get and how it affects the senses when the sea is first approached when you’ve reached your destination is felt also in this novel
