Great Read. I loved so much about this book: the characters, the setting and the original story line. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Seven Days of Friday. A fun read with bits of whimsy and craziness all rolled into one story. Learned more about Greek food and the countryside than when visiting in person.

Not a Romantic Comedy. This book should not have been classified as a romantic comedy. Yes there are funny bits, but murder is not what I expect to find in this genre

Drama & Humor - a great combo. Alex A. King certainly knows how to turn the ordinary into a punchline. The story of Vivi in search of a new life for herself and her troubled daughter is a great read. Vivi’s candor and humor, not to mention the colorful characters she struggles to comprehend, and sometimes avoid, will make you stay up late with the mantra “just one more chapter.”

So Good. I love book that makes me laugh out loud! Such a fun read... I can't wait to read more!!

Very cute story. I was just searching through the free books and this was the first one I picked. I loved the storyline; I wish there was more about the romance in it!

Too good to put down. A warm and funny look at Greek matriarchal life, Mama lays down the rules, children obey. Vivi is on a voyage of discovery, after separating from her husband she learns life and love is not all she thought it was. Melissa her daughter, battles her own demons and through it all Greek tradition love and life bind them all together. Alex A. King writes with humour and understanding of ritual, traditions and the underlying love that runs through family life in Greece.

Witty, charming- couldn't put it down!. This is a fantastic book, full of laugh out loud moments even in more serious situations. It's endearing, funny and one I couldn't put down!

A worthy read. What a family! Very layered, emotionally, morally, culturally. I fully enjoyed the Greek lifestyle, the food, the country the weather. The author still managed to insert humour with divorce, self harm, love and death. A very worthy read.
