Obama: An Intimate Portrait. Pathetic chronicle of the worst president in history.

Takes you on a journey. This book is worth every penny. Each photo, caption, page takes you on the journey that was 8 years of American History. It’s hard to put down because you want to analyze each photo.

Memorable moments of a memorable President.. I couldn’t put this down as I gazed at Pete Souza’s beautiful collection of historic and also intimate moments of Barack Obama’s presidency.

Lots of Fluff. This didn’t contain anything that wasn’t already known. Highly disappointed, AGAIN!!! This is an addendum: In all fairness, I checked my critical review of Obama’s book and my review was indeed posted. I clicked on the critical tab and only I was the only one that came up with less than perfect ratings. I dont understand why it only shows me as the only one with a less than favorable review of Obama’s book when indeed there are others, but with Trump it shows nothing but 1 star reviews from people. People are people, and we all have the right to our own beliefs - that what makes America great. I fought for this country, for your beliefs; however similar or however they may differ. The freedom of speech, expression, its how great ideas come together. So much censoring of this, and censoring that! If its not hate or hurting someone, who are we to squelch or silence one another? If we proceed with this madness, our individuality, that special thing that makes us ALL so beautifully unique, will no longer exist...

Liberal Diatribe. Book made me nauseous!

Visual Perfection. I bought this book first. Then I waited for Michelle Obama’s Becoming book. (Five Stars) I listened to her book then read this. Pete’s book puts the visual to several events Mrs. Obama described. I’m pretty sure I’ll revisit this book again when Former President Obama release his book. ❤️

A Chronicle of Leadership. I am not fond of hero worship. Humans are too flawed to hoist anyone up on a pedestal, only to be let down when the details come into the light. It is the light that the best photos cast on a scene that tell us a lot about the framed subjects. The photos and accompanying descriptions in this collection tell us that Obama was at the very least a leader, if not a hero.

What a jigaboo this guy is. Don’t waste your time with this garbage

Very detailed, subtle. Great read and enlightening!!

Emotional remonder. This is a difficult book to read with pictures that raise emotions. Sadly, it is a reminder what leadership can and should look like and be. It reminds us of what an incompetent, immoral racist like trump can do to demean the office of president.

New York Times shills mediocre president. What else would you expect?

Exquisite Photographs. I own the hardcover version of this book, and if it is judged strictly on the quality of the photography, it warrants a 5 star rating. More importantly, the photographs illustrate the inherent decency, dignity, and humanity of Obama, both as a man and as President of the United States. When browsing through it, I am painfully reminded of the dichotomy between President Obama’s attributes and those of the current occupant of the White House.

What a delight!. Great job! This was such a delight to read and view. The photos are amazing. The commentaries tell the whole story. You can feel all the joy, sorrow and every other emotion through these photos. I highly recommend this book.

Great book , great perspective.. If it was possible legally he would have won the 3rd term even 4th too. So book gives great insights of a great man.
