amazing!. the messages in her books are so amazing. i have the hardcover version and read it over a month ago and just read it again last night. i love the characters and i’m excited to see the movie version! truly my favorite book thus far.
Angie Thomas does it again!. Angie Thomas does it again! I have to say though, this book didn’t hit me quite as hard as THUG did, but nevertheless, I couldn’t put it down! Definitely a great book and I will continue to read anything Angie Thomas writes!

Angie Thomas does it again!. Another excellent book from Angie Thomas the follow up to T.H.U.G. doesn’t dissapoint and if you are able to listen to the audio book version Bahni Turpin is amazing once again!
SUPERB! ANGIE DID IT AGAIN!. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!! Just finished this masterpiece of a book and felt the heart and piece of soul that Angie put into it. This is a true ode to hip hop and based off her life and the narrative fits the scene set perfectly. On the come up had moments i could relate to from my childhood because I had a single mom and we sometimes struggled with food and bills. The music,tv shows and movie references made in the book as well as pop culture nods made me relate. I would like to say it is better if not just as good as The Hate U Give was when i read it. Everybody please go buy it, download it,listen to the audiobook and tweet about it and write reviews on amazon. I LOVE YOU BRI JACKSON!!! Also i’m scared Of Big Bird as Well...
Amazing and captivating story!. Angie Thomas has honestly become my favorite writer of this time! Got the book Sunday and finished it the following Tuesday! Thomas does an amazing job with connecting the lives of black teenage individuals of this time to readers, such as myself. Can honestly say I am learning a lot from her as a writer. Truly amazing book. 1,000/5 stars for anyone looking for a good read!
