Writing Mr. Right by T.K. Leigh Book Summary

A romance author with a serious case of writer's block.
A plan to find a muse, write the book, then walk away.
But plans are made to be broken.

My name is Molly Brinks, but most people know me as Vivienne Foxx, bestselling author of chance meetings, stolen glances, and the much-needed happily ever after. At the age of twenty-nine-plus-one, I am at the top of my game...professionally.

My personal life is a completely different story, one best left untold. Success has its sacrifices and I've been more than happy to put my search for Prince Charming on the back burner while I create fictitious tales of the naïve virgin, the broken girl with a torrid past, and the strong-willed student finding their own Mr. Right...

Until one hell of a case of writer's block and a tight deadline set by my publisher forces me to go in search of inspiration. So I devise a plan.

Meet some nice, professional men.
Go on a few dates.
Hope one of them has the spark I need to finish my book.
Then walk away.

But plans are made to be broken. And inspiration can be found in the most unlikely of places.

My name is Molly Brinks, and this is my story about Writing Mr. Right.

Writing Mr. Right is a standalone humorous and heartfelt story about one woman's search to find Mr. Right in a world full of Mr. Wrongs. Pick up your copy of this opposites attract, forbidden romance today!

So many feels!. Writing Mr. Right is supposed to be a romantic comedy. It certainly is funny. I never knew what outrageous thing Molly was going to say. Molly and Noah's story is much more that. At times it was so poignantly sad. Molly is a romance writer that doesn't believe in love. It's a slow painful journey that turns her world upside down , but it's such an incredible journey. This book has so many feels that it made me who never cries to cry. This book is worth every one of its five stars! ****I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my honest review.****

Amazing. If I could give this more then 5 stars I would. Phenomenal.. Writing Mr. Right- release date June 26, 17 This book brought tears to my eyes, made me laugh like no other. A moving book to be assured. It just flowed and unfolded into the most beautiful love story between a women, Molly Brinks who had found her Mr. Right a man who was dedicated to finding a cure to a disease which touched her father as well as his. Noah McAllister may have been her muse but he was so much more. They shared a bond. See what happens between them it's truly amazing... Most highly recommended.

Charming, Witty, Sexy. I think I’ve found my new favorite author, if all the books are this good. The story has meat to it, the writing draws you in and it’s easy to connect to the characters. Definitely worth reading.

Writing Mr Right. Hmmmm, maybe a bit of insight into a romance writer’s take on romance. Fun with lots of twists—pursuing love can get complicated

This book runs the gamut of emotions!. I love the concept that T.K. brings us in this book, a woman named Molly writing under a pen name who has lost her writing mojo. Suffering from writer's block, she resorts to her tried and true formula of hooking up with a guy who fits the mold of the leading man in her current work in progress. Burned out on writing the "sexy, sweet & sinful" stories her publisher demands from her because that is what sells, she longs to stretch her writing chops and tell a story with substance. T.K. always does a great job of writing complex, in depth characters. Molly is a hoot. She's a "twenty nine plus one" year old woman with a mouth that has no filter, which made for a ton of laugh out loud moments in this book. She has a very skewed view of love, having always believed that "real love isn't real life" after her mother abandons her family when she's four. So her concept of only using guys for sex and to be her current book muse has worked perfectly for her all these years. In the concept of art imitating life, Molly starts feeling a forbidden attraction to her father's doctor, Noah McAllister. What can I say about Noah other than he is swoon worthy!! Holy wow, he can examine me any time! This story has some of everything. Yes, there's laughter and good times with her family, but there's also some pretty heavy times when dealing with her father's illness, and her lifelong issue of her mother's abandonment. Family plays a major role in Molly's life, and her brother Drew, best friend Brooklyn and her Aunt Gigi were an amazing support team to her. I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Molly and Noah grow, but oftentimes Molly frustrated the tar out of me with the decisions she made and the immaturity she displayed even though she's thirty years old. I could totally understand how her behavior stemmed from events in her childhood, for the most part, but her constant running from Noah became too repetitive for me, hence the frustration. I've read all of T.K.'s books and this one was a nice change of pace from the romantic suspense she has so masterfully crafted. I have loved all of her books and this is no exception. It was nice to see her move in a different direction and I know that people are going to absolutely enjoy this story. And I can't wait to see what T.K. has in store for Molly's brother Drew and best friend Brooklyn. That book has me super intrigued!

Writing Mr. Right. A pretty good story. Got frustrated with Molly quite often and kudos to Noah for loving her enough to put up with her and even accepting all her hang ups. Not many men would in real life.

Writing Mr. Right. Glad Molly finally got her act together! Luke was a perfect match for her, getting her to take chances and learn to love.

Writing Mr. Right. I thought it was going to be boring but when I got into it, I found that I could feel as if I was her and that working her way to where she needed to be in life. All the ups Nd downs of a real person, not just a made up person for the sake of a book. Great job with an amazing storyline.

It’s started out good....... The beginning had promise but Molly got on my last nerve. The ill father story and abandonment issues just got old. I saw it coming Molly freaking out and blaming Noah.... just so ugh. Don’t put pets in stories then ignore them. I couldn’t finish the story after Molly putting the blame on Noah. It was just a stupid reaction. I’m out.

Writing Mr Right. Such a great Love story. With so many emotions. One you cannot put down. Thank you. I so revommend this book be read

Fantastic read.. This was full of feelings and emotions. I loved the characters and the storyline. Very good story.

Writing Mr Right. Great book with fantastic characters! Enjoy this love story that almost doesn’t happen!

Writing Mr. Right. To be honest, I was bored silly reading the first 168 pages. Then, the book became interesting and I couldn’t put it down. It was real, funny in places and very sad in places. This is the first real book I’ve read. Outstanding!!

This love story. Plans are made to be broken. Molly Brinks is a romance author who hits a writers block and is told to think about her own love story. She has basically lived her life off of the motto ‘real love isn’t real life’. That all changes when Noah saves her in the park from a gang of evil ducks. Noah begins by taking the role of a muse, but that quickly changes. She falls for the man she can’t have. She begins to write her love story through Jackson and Avery. Noah inspires Molly to overcome her fears of love. She is not longer running from love because she has found her soulful love.
