Pleasantly surprised. This book showed up for free, so I took advantage and downloaded it, honestly not expecting much. Let’s face it, a lot of the free books are free for a reason. That being said, I loved this book. There’s a great deal of diversity in the cast. The characters are well written. The author manages to convey the scenes without being overly descriptive and tiresome. The story has a great twist. I didn’t see the whodunnit coming. One of the things I like best about the book is the strong characters. I get very very very tired of the female lead being whiny, stupid, pretty, and utterly useless. I have already bought the next two books, and I have a feeling that I will end up, quite happily, with the entire set. I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I did.
A Mothers Day Murder. Boring. Too much filler and too many names that had no valve to the story.
Like able characters. An overall enjoyable story. Wish authors would leave out the unnecessary foul words but this story only had one or two. Great twist there at the end that I loved. Can’t wait for the next book to become available.
