Fantastic. I enjoyed the story and the characters. The suspense was palpable. The characters were fantastic. The author keeps the reader on edge until the end. A must read if you like suspense. This book is dark with crimes against young women. If you have triggers you may want to skip it.

Nice, but some flaws. 1. The MCs found connection of latest murdered girls to the first one,Beth, but chose to ignore it until later. It was so annoying to read those pages, until they finally remembered to pursue the clue, where I as a reader was shocked to see that how such professionals can ignore such a direct link. It would have saved Amy from being kidnapped if they hadn’t wasted precious time. 2. Lots of swearing. 3. Grammatical mistakes.

I’ve read high school english essays better than this. this book is full of snarky misogynistic comments, both by the male and female key characters. Not a good read if you know that women have value as humans rather than sex objects. On top of that, the misogyny isn’t even grammatically correct. This book is constantly missing key commas and punctuation and is full of odd, unfitting language, which makes it a difficult read even without the constant sexist remarks. The roles and methods the “detectives” use is also not relevant to real world processes whatsoever and takes away from the reality & interest of the storyline significantly. Additionally the r*pe and torture scenes don’t add to the storyline at ALL, they seem to be there for more than the authors sick descriptions. If you’re into grammatically and societally incorrect misogynistic remarks, this is the book for you!

Started great, then way off topic w sexual content.. This book started off great. The characters were described in detail while keeping the suspense going. The story line was great until it went off track, focusing on unnecessary sexual encounters /content. I wanted to read a mystery. Not a Harlequin romance. And after so many chapters of building up to the bad guy… It wrapped up in one or two chapters. All that suspense for an anti-climatic end.

Innocent Taken. Oh Lord my nerves really took hold for the victims, such an awful situation that I don’t doubt has happened somewhere, sometime. Very well written and quite a mystery.

Innocence Taken. Such a good read!!! I very much enjoy it when an author tells the story from the killers side and also the detectives!! And the personal history of the detectives is HOT!!!!

Two thumbs up!!. Great story. Lots of details to intrigue your imagination without being overly dramatic. Fun characters and interesting stories to explore.

Felt like I was watching a crime thriller. It started slow for me but once it starts- it starts! I couldn’t put it down and read it in two days. On my way to book #2 in the series. Must read if you’re into shows like law and order, csi, etc

Innocence Taken. An excellent story from first page to last. The characters are strong. The police procedures are believable. And the ending is more than satisfying. Strongly recommending this book as I order the next one.

Good characters. There are some things that are really good about this book and some that aren’t. The sexually explicit parts are too much and take away from the story, as is how fast it happened for four main characters. Some romance is good but this was too far. I do like however, the family values and christian aspects being an important part of that, despite the crotch novel vulgarity in contains. The main characters are fun and interesting as it the humor.

Innocence Taken. Enjoyed reading this book. I loved a good murder mystery. Glad they solved the case and they do work well together. I will keep reading your books. Thank you!

Wow. Wow loved it could not put it down

Engrosing. I’ve read hundreds of books in my lifetime and find few which held my interest from first to last page. This one did. It keeps you wanting to know what will happen next. The characters are well done, including Coach. Read it.

Very enjoyable. I was hooked from the first line. This author did a great job of bringing the reader in. The characters are very like able, and you find yourself rooting for a happy ending. This had suspense and just enough mystery to keep you guessing! Well done .

You need to edit this book!. I’m actually gutted I was enjoying this book until the author used a very insulting racist name calling from one of the main characters, totally unacceptable. Shame I can’t give minus stars for it,

Chilling!. More emphasis at first on the relationships of the detectives, wasn’t sure it was relevant…however continued with book and found it to be a chilling and somewhat gruesome read, but that said it was a very good book in the end!
