Phoning it in.. This book is boring and divisive. There was no plot twist I followed the classic hallmarks of the trope, it wasn't even very entertaining to be truthful. I don't say this to be rude but the "heroine" is Mary Sue through and through.

“There are no guarantees in life. If you’re afraid to try, you’ll miss all the good stuff.”. Baby Daddy was such a sweet, fun, refreshing read with just enough angst to keep the pages turning. Once I started reading, I literally could not put it down. Jenna is such an independent, head-strong, determined heroine; it was refreshing! However, growing up without her father and her past relationships have her believing that men are only good for one thing: leaving. And Emmett...oh Emmett!! *SWOON* Emmett is sweet and charming and GAH, so sexy; but he’s been traumatized by his parents relationship and his view on love and marriage is completely skewed. Jenna is ready to start a family but has no intentions of that including a man. Emmett is more than happy to get her pregnant and then walk away just as Jenna requests. Unfortunately, neither of them planned for love to intervene and throw all their plans out the window! I absolutely adored this book and I can’t wait to read it again!

Cute. It was a nice read. But I couldn’t get past my irritation of two grown people past the age of 32 not being to just say how they feel about each other. They noticed changes in their reactions to each other, but yet neither would say “is what we originally negotiated still what we want? Maybe if the ages were the typical 20’s it would get the hesitation...(maybe) But to be business owners, headstrong CEO and knowing what they want in life they had no idea how to speak up. But It was as I stated “cute”. Little laughs but wished it was a free read. I allow myself a book buying allowance... wish I skipped this one... annoyed 😑

I mean, I enjoy a good angsty read, too, but the lighter side definitely has its appeal, and BABY DADDY by author Kendall Ryan hits all of the marks. Jenna and Emmett have undeniable chemistry, the kind that engages right from the start. And, even though neither one wants more than the baby-making, it doesn't take long for all of the dratted feelings to kick in. Plenty of sexy times, yes, but the tender moments, the witty banter, the things that make a relationship just that, these are the things that I love the most about this book. Kendall is one of my go-to authors, whether it's her alpha males and strong women, or her rom-coms with plenty of heart. Jenna and Emmett might be one of my favorite of her couples ever, and I thoroughly enjoyed their story. 4.5 sweet, sexy, delightful stars for BABY DADDY; add this one to your TBR and enjoy.

Full of surprises, laughter, lust, and fun!. 4.5 Stars Baby Daddy is Kendall’s next sexy and sweet standalone. I just know when I open one of her books that I am in for a treat. A hot treat with a side of sweetness and laughter. And that’s exactly what I got with Baby Daddy. It all started with an elevator. A broken down one that would chance their lives forever... Jenna didn’t need a man. She just needed his sperm. She is a thirty-five year old independent woman who wants to have a baby, over the years she went on some dates but nothing stuck. Her friends said she was too picky. In reality, she didn’t want to settle. She didn’t have time for all the work that goes into a relationship. The only one she wanted to make time for was with a little bundle of joy. It was time. She was ready. What she wasn’t ready for was the sexy as sin man who entered her life with one elevator ride. Emmett Smith. He was the perfect donor. Handsome, funny, sweet, and charming. He also didn’t want a commitment. Not to her or a baby. He was already married. To his company. He knew what it was like growing up with a father who never came home. He wouldn’t do that a child. He won’t even do that to a woman. He was all about the one-night stand. He was shocked himself when he offered himself to a stranger in an elevator. There was just something about the way she knew what she wanted. He admired it. It was a win- win really. He got to have sex with a gorgeous woman until she was knocked up. She fulfills he dreams of motherhood. He never had a problem walking away before so this would be easy, right? Wrong. So very wrong. He was f-. She was f-. They were both f- in the best possible of ways and f- in the most confusing ways too. I do love a good baby making story and this is definitely one of those. The characters are strong, funny, sexy, and sweet. Emmett is tender and rough all at the same time. Jenna is strong and soft. Together, their banter is fun and flirty, their connection is hot and beautiful. Overall...Their story is full of surprises, laughter, lust, and fun. Quotes: This is the strangest dirty talk I’ve ever heard, but I’ll take my victories however I can get them. His touch transforms me into a wanton, greedy creature of desire. “Feet in the stirrups, please. I’m just going to take a look at your cervix.” “Will you bring me back a souvenir?” I joke as I prop my legs up.

Good Read. Strong independent woman are my favorite types of fictional characters. I enjoyed the book which had just the right amount of angst. Great characters, great story!

Lacking. I found that this story wasn’t good. The lack of chemistry really dampened the overall feeling.

A love story that perfectly blends seductive and steamy desires with affectionate and wistful romance, Baby Daddy is an expressive and refreshing book, that’s sure to leave a smile on your face! 5 Stars!

Bleh. Generally love a Kendall Ryan book, however this one did not meet my expectations! Just wasn’t good enough.

Baby Daddy is a five star winner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Kendal Ryan did what I did not expect. When I started reading this I fully expected it to be simply a forgettable quick way to pass a few hours. Boy was I wrong. It didn’t take more than the first few pages to become totally involved and completely enamored of everyone Kendal introduces us to. She doesn’t miss once. Everyone is real and plays their part perfectly, pulling us into their world as only a truly gifted author is able to accomplish.

Hot and sexy. Kendall Ryan is a one click author for me. I always enjoy her stories and know they'll leave me wanting more. Baby Daddy took me a minute to get into-simply because some parts were a little too relatable for me, but once I reminded myself it was a book I was able to just enjoy it. Jenna and Emmett meet in a way that had me chuckling. There's attraction there but Jenna is a woman on a mission for the one thing Emmett wants no part of. I can understand that focus, that drive on Jenna's part. I can admire it. I understood where she was coming from. That being said, I understood Emmett as well. He was a good book boyfriend-even though he never intended to be one. I enjoyed watching him grow throughout this book. As I said, the chemistry is there. The sexy times were sexy, but there was more to this book than just that. These characters had me laughing and they had me sighing others. I thought their journey together was unique and really well written. Now, as for the story...this isn't my first baby book I've read this year. This is a popular trope right now but Kendall Ryan has a knack for making things unique and fresh. I enjoyed the writing in this book-parts of it just had me cracking up. I think the pacing worked as well. I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Loved. What starts off as a business deal ends up being so much more for Jenna and Emmett. Join this couple on their roller coaster ride towards their hearts desire. Loads of fun to read.

"I don't need anything but your company".. This was such a great read. I really enjoyed it. Though, I could have done without the prologue. It wasn't the prologue itself but its contents. He was talking about JR like it was his best friend. I just didn't agree with it. Anyhoo. I loved, loved Jenna. I absolutely love a strong h. She was the epitome of a great character. I loved her no nonsense attitude. I loved how she went after what she wanted. She put Emmett in his place so many times. It was refreshing. I like Emmett (minus the prologue). He was a great character as well. I liked Emmett and Jenna together. They had really great chemistry. I really enjoyed the way they were with each other. They had something great about them. I was pleasantly surprised the way this book turned out. I was a bit frustrated in the middle because she wanted to be with him. And he wanted to be with her. But neither of them new the others thoughts. I just wanted to scream at both of them. I sincerely enjoyed this book.

Hot Baby Daddy. Another fabulous book by Kendall Ryan! From the moment Emmett and Jenna meet for the first time while stuck in an elevator together you know the chemistry between them is out of this world. These two are great as individuals and even better together. Jenna is on her way to a doctors appointment when she meets Emmett. While stuck they get to talking and Emmett offers to solve her problem for her...the old fashioned way. Emmett is immediately drawn to Jenna and wants her but realizes he can get that and solve her problem at the same time. It’s a great solution for both of them or so they think. Jenna wants a “pump and dump” and that is not how Emmett saw this going down. Emmett tells her that is not how he works and she concedes because she really just wants to be pregnant. After a few weeks of having sex to get Jenna pregnant and the dinners beforehand they both start to develop more feelings for each other. Of course both of them are afraid of what the other will think because it wasn’t part of their deal. Plus neither of them want to let the other go so they just stick with what they have. I loved Emmett and Jenna from page one. They were both likable and were both honest with each other and what they wanted. I liked how they both came up with any reason to want to be around each other without trying to give away their real feelings. This is another fabulous book and one you don’t want to miss out on.

Review: Baby Daddy. Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan is a standalone romance told in dual POV. The story unfolds from an elevator incident (two complete strangers stuck together for two hours) to a full on love story complete with baby. Let me back up, Jenna wants a baby. She is on her way to the sperm clinic to begin the process and gets stuck on an elevator with a very fine specimen of the male species, Emmett. He surmises she must be going to the spank bank and an embarrassing conversation ensues followed by an eager offer from Emmett to be the sperm donor instead of an anonymous spanker from the clinic. Entranced by his delicious smell, charming demeanor and entertaining banter she seriously considers the offer. The sex and hilarity just continues from here. With a few angsty moments where neither one is able to communicate their feelings, meanwhile you, the reader, are whisper-yelling at your kindle for them to get their acts together and we end at a happily ever after. What did I miss? He is CEO of a large bookstore company that is trying to buy out a local small bookstore owned by Jenna. Neither one of them knows what the other one does specifically for work. hey both catch feelings early and try to play it off, sometimes convincingly, other times to so much. The characters bounce their wit and frustration off each other and are well-developed and the pace was well-done. I haven't read a book yet by Kendall Ryan that I haven't loved. Enjoy!

I <3 Emmett and Jenna. I thoroughly enjoyed Baby Daddy. Jenna and Emmett are both driven and determined characters. I enjoyed their relationship and how different it was. They just click with one another and form a strong connection in a short amount of time. The book is pretty fast paced, but it worked with the storyline. I enjoyed seeing how both their mind sets changed throughout the book. They're a cute pairing and share a lot of sweet moments together. The last few chapters were my favorites and very cute. It was wrapped up nicely with a good look at what their future holds for them.

“Baby Daddy”. This fast paced contemporary novel can be read in just a few sittings, not because it is so short, but because this reader could not put it down. The two lovable main characters, Jenna & Emmitt, meet on a incapacitated elevator. After many interesting interludes and successes, they each finally admit their true feelings for one another. Love wins out over his workaholic habits and her love for her profession. The real winners are this entire family of four and their constant devotion to each other. Thanks for creating two such kind, caring, lovable and memorable characters. Hated to see it come to an end!!!

Loved Emmett and Jenna!!!. This was a fun, sexy read!! Seeing Emmett and Jenna go from a relationship of convenience, a means to get something, to falling in love was quite a ride. They fought there feelings, but there was no way they could resist each other. Add in a twist here and there, and you’ve got a great read that I would definitely recommend!

A new favorite. Who knew getting stuck in an elevator would lead to such an entertaining story. Of course their chances of survival would not be high if they were seriously stuck. A bit predictable only in the fact if you try for a baby the old fashioned way, feelings have a high probability of coming into play. But this in no way takes away from the overall charm of Emmett and Jenna's story. "Ground rules" are laid out at the very beginning, but I loved how feelings quickly started changing but each was reluctant to let those feelings known. A few twists and surprises along the way. This is a wonderfully sexy book.

Very Funny Read. Once again Kendall Ryan delivers a perfect rom com, this book has it all, plenty of humour, romance and some seriously hot moments. Emmitt and Jenna find themselves stuck in an elevator, she is on her way to a appointment at the sperm bank and he is on his way to his office which happens to be a floor above and as you do when you are stuck in an elevator you talk to pass the time and Jenna finds herself telling Emmitt about her need for a baby what she didn’t expect was for him to offer to get her pregnant the traditional way.... Is it possible to make a baby and not let feelings get in the way, can their arrangement end once Jenna is pregnant and will they be able to go their separate ways. I think you need to read the book to find that out and along the way I’m sure you will have some laugh out loud moments as well as some let’s bash your heads together moments. The banter is perfect and I’m really in love with Emmitt and Jenna pretty adorable as well. This is a funny enjoyable read and I challenge anyone to not giggle at #YouSpankIt #WeBankIt and #YouJackIt #WePackIt
