About the author
Helen Fields studied law at the University of East Anglia, then went on to the Inns of Court School of Law in London. After completing her pupillage, she joined chambers in Middle Temple where she practised criminal and family law for thirteen years. After her second child was born, Helen left the Bar.
Together with her husband David, she runs a film production company, acting as script writer and producer. Perfect Remains is set in Scotland, where Helen feels most at one with the world. Helen and her husband now live in Los Angeles with their three children and two dogs.

Perfect Death.. Grand!!! I am always trying early on to work out who the dastardly killer is. I enjoy all the twists and turns… but i feel every blow to every head, arm, shoulder, chest and feel the blades cut into flesh. Moving right along! Now onto the next chiller😁‼️

Perfect Death.. Another amazing outing in Helen Fields DI Callanach series. Recently promoted DCI Ava Turner, literally hits the ground running, when her former boss is discovered dead in his car. Suicide is suspected. Two other unexplained deaths, pique the squads interest, before long, dots are being joined, and the picture is not looking good. Can Ava hold her squad together, preserve reputations and track down a suspected serial killer ? Brilliant crime thriller from the off, well deserved of it's 5* rating. I look forward to another in this excellent series.
