Just wow.. This book here is by far one of the best leadership books I have came across. I would write a longer review but I have to get back to the book. Its so good!

A life changer. If you read only one leadership book this year, this is it. Former Navy Seals Jocko Willink and Lief Babin applies combat proven leadership principles to help improve businesses and the lives of individuals. Extreme Ownership teaches: the self-discipline to own all mistakes as an effective leader, leadership as a team dynamic, and how to continue winning. There are no shortcuts to leadership, it requires tirelessly grinding day in and day out and this notion embodied in the t-shirt slogan “Discipline equals freedom" has resonated with the masses. The popularity of this book spawned Jocko Podcast, hosted by co-author Jocko Willink and Echo Charles, which was awarded "Best of 2016" by Apple. As of March 2018, @jockowillink amassed 182.7K followers on Twitter, many of which follows Jocko's daily example of waking up at 4:34AM to "get after it".

Great read for those in Construction. I am in the construction industry and I have already applied a lot of the techniques in this book. It has made my team closer and more motivated than ever before! Highly recommend!

Great read for a developing leader. Useful and practical information that’s explained in a way that’s easy to understand and apply to one’s own situation. I also found it to be quite enjoyable and informational in regards to the US’s presence in Ramadi.

Inspiring. Great insights and applicable concepts to lead and influence a team. Clear and precise principles that are proven. Love reading about the tribulations in the battlefield that are applied to leadership in the safe confines of business world.

Great book. Learned alot from this book

Entertaining, inspirational, insightful. Part modern special forces biography, part business book, part self-help. This book fulfills multiple missions in an organized and easily-consumed manner.

Where ever, when ever. I found so much value in reading this book. It has given useful tools for my personal growth as a leader and vision of being part of a team. I have started to take the principles of this book and apply it every where I can in my life. This is a great book and it really demonstrates the core principle of only being able to change yourself before your able to lead others.

Great read for everyone. I have implemented Extreme Ownership in my day to day life. Weather it be something small or big, I make sure to always come back and remember this book to be the best leader I can possibly be. Amazing lay out as well.

Solid. A solid book on leadership. I came in a bit skeptical, but was thoroughly surprised by the fundamental principles laid down. And while not anything particularly new, a good reminder that leadership doesn’t require the latest novel anthropology studies or psychology research, but committed individuals with intestinal fortitude to do what’s right.

Pretty good 4/5. I enjoyed the book and the principles that were introduced. I liked the connections to business, warfare and life. The stories and concepts were good. Some of the book was slightly repetitive but I chugged through and would say I liked the book.

Management Based on the Principles of Combat. Great book from an interesting vantage point. The books principals are a apparent and concrete. Would recommend even if your not familiar with the military. Laith Baben’s voice isn’t bad to listen to either.
